I'm fine with the decision to draft him as opposed to another depth player/special teams guy. We used the second-last pick in the third round on him. He was drafted after we took Giovanni Aprile and right before Rene Stephan. Bilukidi was a first round talent who had fallen almost into the 4th round. That is a low risk/high reward selection that we didn't reap the rewards of. Those are great home-run swings to take in the later rounds.

Thats an interesting read. Idk about us going with one of each linemen for our first round picks. I think we grab behar or if some how he should drop vandervoort. Its a strange draft. The positions with first round talent have multiple guys. dt, wr, ol none of them have one guy head and shoulders better then the wrest. I wouldnt be surprised if our top 3 picks are ol, dl and wr at all. But I think we go wr with the 2nd first. The drop off at wr is much faster and much steeper then DL or ol. Ol will go early and often, as it allways does.

Matthews is a Centre and Laine would have had to dominate to win - without the concussion, I think he had a legit chance. Matthews deserves it, he's a great player. That being said, if Babcock was coaching Laine... cough cough...

I think this will be his last crack at the NFL. He spent all of last year not on a roster, only to sign a futures contract at the end of the regular season. Not only is he out of PR eligibility, but as a vet I think his minimum salary is more than a rookie. At some point the CFL will be a more attractive option. I think Bilukidi is selling/owner of a suit compay in Ottawa.

He signed a futures contract with Oakland. Pretty sure he should be out of PR eligibility so he has to crack a main roster if he wants to stay down there.

Signed a futures deal with an NFL club. That'll get him to the OTR's anyway.

I actually JUST saw the Favreau Jungle Book last week, and enjoyed it. I'm a HUUUUUUGE fan of the 60s original, and this was definitely different...but enjoyable on its own. Walken as Louie was pretty cool. It's tough to follow the great Louie Prima, but Walken turning him into a sorta New York gangster -style thing was neat...

If you want to talk about the playoffs then go ahead and say something interesting about the playoffs. No need to be the hall monitor. Does anyone actually think the Leafs are going to pull off the upset? I'm hoping to god that Washington gets it together. I don't think the Leafs would make it past Pittsburgh anyways but I really do not want to see them enjoy any kind of success.

My only regret is that I bought tickets to a Jays-Rangers game next month. Had I waited, I may have saved lots of money. Go Yankees!
