Jets have landed in Minneapolis

Keep attacking don't stand back. Get pucks in deep and get the forechecking going.

Wild fans are no slouch and there will be a lot of energy in their barn as well. What the Jets will likely and hopefully do is is wall off the red line and weather the first 10 minutes, then slowly push that line up to their blue until the Wild no longer have puck possession or space to move, sucking the life out of them and the energy out of the building. Don't trade hits right away, don't give them anything to feed off of, play patient, take away lanes and smother them, keep everything in front of us until their will breaks, then start pounding them into the boards once the doubt creeps in. Or put up 6 goals on Dubnyk in the first 10 minutes, both strategies will work.

There is nothing wrong with it, I guess I just find it unusual because I am a naturally agreeable and non-confrontational person.

Upside and high character, thats the bombers to profile to a T. 26 TFL and 122 solo tackles / 190 combined over 3 years. Exciting quality prospect at our biggest position of need. Hope he brings it in camp.

Pretty impressive testing numbers at 243 pounds. Normally I'd say that's a lìttle too heavy for a CFL MLB but if he can move that well... could be a stud prospect. I'm pretty high on JSK but nothing wrong with some high quality competition.

Yeah I don't think the Jets can afford to play rock em sock em tonight... not with the travel gong show this weekend... I'd run the bottom six for a good chunk of the first period If the Wild win one, I'd say its today - be very impressive if the Jets take it

Total **** move by Winnik the other night. Now he's made himself a target, though. I had a feeling Suter out would affect the Wild but I didn't think they'd be this bad. Dubnyk is carrying that team.

I thought he went out East last year after being cut by the Riders, Hamilton maybe but he is now sitting on the Lions roster.

Also hope that Scheifele and Connor do some damage scoring wise in this game.

Well after listening to Cherry last night rant that it was the Jets that started the dirty play and that goof Boudreau whining that NOW there is a real hate...?? Did Cherry even watch the game? Its the wild who can't keep up that are playing dirty...what a moron.

If the Wild get owned tomorrow this series is done in 4. Honestly i dont see how "home ice" plays a role in a team literally owning another team. Will the Wild all of a sudden be a better team? Wild are a mediocre team with an elite goalie. Jets are elite... And are showing why. I dont think ive ever seen 2 playoff games where 1 team literally owns the other team for 80 percent of the game... Turns on leafs bruins... Ok.. Now i have.

think thats very rare these days, its when a guy comes back from the nfl or finally comes up from the nfl like brown or westerman. Ultra high potential guys with great skills/athletic ability/ high end experience/success sure. But general level of talent that comes up now compared to what used to is what makes the cant miss guys very rare. I think cant miss guys who havent played meaningful snaps of pro football are the rarest commodity. We see less of that and less of the TCF guys and more an across the board high level of talent. The closest thing we could see to a cant miss guy is geoff gray.

There were many times the Wild players were turning away or pulling up early. They were shying away from hits even when jets weren’t hitting. Key thing is win game 3 so you don’t make wild think they’re in this.

That third goal brought me so much hockey joy. Minnesota had the puck on their sticks for 20 seconds trying to move it out of their zone. Little cut them off, then Roslovic, then Copp, and then each of them did it again. Finally all that pressure created a turnover, and two passes later the puck is in the net. That goal was earned thru high-level grinding and maximum effort forechecking. I cheered for all the goals but that was the one where I literally jumped out of my seat.

Embarrassing

When Lyle Bauer was with the Stamps he started a fan forum here. When he left the Stamps were quick to cancel it permanently much to the chagrin of Calgary fans. They had at least 300 fans at the last one three years ago & it was a huge success. However, the Stamps Choke is always on year after year & they keep blowing playoff games & Grey Cups to inferior teams. The way I see it, the Stamps are out of touch with their shrinking fanbase. I don't think management wants to hear it in spades from disgruntled Stamps fans demanding answers. Easier to cancel, claim all is fine with the world & not be accountable to their fans.

Harkins struggled with the Moose this year but put up 6 points in 6 games in the ECHL when he went down. He's only 20 and I think the pro game has been a little intimidating so far. There is still lots of potential there, IMO.
