The streamer world with people who 24/7 live stream is such a bizarre world. It's so much fakery to entice 12 - 15 year old boys into believing it's real and for those kids to donate money to encourage the streamer to continue doing stupid ****. The stupid viewers actually think that these guys own mansions and luxury sports cars when in reality they are flat broke trying to maintain "the image". This broccoli head Jack Doherty is one of and possibly the worst. He's currently desperate for attention since his 5 minutes are up and he needs to get into altercations to get a few eyes back on him to earn some money. At some point he will end up pissing off the wrong person and end up dead. Playing with fire.

Because we signed Brady and therefore we have no money to ever sign anyone else as per a few people on here. Somehow BC is able to have guys like Rourke and also able to sign other quality free agents.

What blows me away is the amount of people who think that Paul did good and deserves respect and is a legit top boxer. Some analysts even had Paul winning the fight which is ludicrous. Clearly Joshua (just like the others) purposely coasted up until the end. I don't think the fight was fixed but I guarantee they had some sort of agreement to have it last more then 4 rounds. I was much more entertained by Andrei Arlovski getting jumped and then kicking the crap out of Jack Doherty and his loser streamer friends backstage.

Every team on every year has money to re-sign veterans and also add new pieces in free agency. I don't believe any team has never signed any veterans and only replenished via free agency.

MBT looked completely shot last season, it's unfortunate because he could have been a decent interim starting QB. Dustin Crum Matt Shiltz Taylor Powell Jake Maier None that I'd want to commit long term with... but maybe good enough as a stop gap. At this point it's a hope and a prayer that Zach can return to form. I hope whoever our back up is... gets reps this season.

I'll take signing a guy with at least some proven success over a complete unknown like Hogan. It can only get better then what we had last year. If we can get a proven receiver who doesn't necessarily have to be the #1 guy in free agency but someone who has at least been consistent and healthy that would be a good start. Unfortunately the albatross of a contract with Zach really will make or break the team. He's a huge liability and has had 2 terrible seasons in a row. I don't know how Condell can fix a guy with a shot arm who throws into triple coverage at the worst times.

On MBB for some reason people think the Bombers have zero money to spend while every other team can sign a team full of vets and star players. Every season we go through us signing a veteran player and a few people thinking we have zero money to spend elsewhere. AFAIK the only bad contract we have now is Zach which is a big one, but most of the dead weight has been shed or will be off the books this year.

Maybe on our team , but not on others. Part of the problem with this club of not giving chances.

Phillip Rivers is probably in the discussion for top 15 QB all time in the NFL and he's familiar with the Colts system, so it somewhat made sense to sign him. The NFL will cycle through the same 4th stringers who have a tiny bit of game experience over giving any new guy a decent shot. With every year a new batch of QB's coming in , it will be near impossible for Elgersma to get any sort of chance to stick with a club. The NFL is a weird league in that way.

Last season he had 11 games with 19+ touches , 5 games with less (including the two games where he was injured) one with 18 and another with 15. 30 might be a bit high, but the 20 number is the average number assuming he doesn't leave the game injured. Tyson Philpot had 61 receptions and 2 carries ... Brady had 61 receptions and 201 carries. Add in the intangibles of having to block and Brady is significantly more impactful then Philpot. It's easy to put an import in at RB when your team is loaded with talented Canadian players elsewhere. This team is razor thin on Canadian talent (outside of Brady/Demski). Dumping the best player in his prime who is Canadian simply to "hope" that you can land a talented Canadian oline/dline guy in free agency would be a terrible idea. Pay Brady, dump a guy like Neufeld who is over the hill and save money by replacing him with an American at a cheaper price. American Olinemen are a dime a dozen.

Cameron Dukes sounds like he's making up a Frank Dux like story. I don't believe it.

Tyson might touch the ball 5 - 8 times per game.... Brady is touching the ball 20-30 times.... much more value in a RB then a WR.

I don't see how out of all of our players this guy couldn't qualify for the marketing money. I'd hope a good chunk is covered for marketing. 3 years for a guy in his prime that has "pardon the pun" carried the team over the last two seasons. Great signing.
