Soooo if someone has only murdered one person and another person has been arrested twice for shoplifting... does that mean the shoplifter is a more damaged individual? Also for guys like Mitchell.... one incident that we are aware of and who knows how many times he's done stupid **** without being caught. Usually trouble follows people who cause it. This isn't a red light camera or an oopsie of not stopping at a stop sign and getting caught. The guy is a bum / was a bum and sucked as a player so moving forward the club shouldn't be employing questionable character guys unless they are at such a level that you can tolerate the prima donna behaviour because they can be elite on the field (see: Kenny Lawler).

The Blue can dress Jake Thomas up like Homer and do skits where everyone on this board is Grimes being baffled at how JT still has his job.

If Mitchell was playing for the Riders the tune would be different. The same thing happened after Lawler was suspended for his DUI and a few people on here gave him the pass. Lots of double standards.

I don't think he was, the issues I was referring to were him falling out of favour with his coaches. Locker room distractions , questionable effort, mentally checked out etc....

It was a thing... they had that one Eskimo player who went viral for a while. Tik Tok is aimed at pre teens and lonely house wives... it doesn't need to be a CFL thing. Print media is also completely dead, same goes with digital news media. We are in the age that people get their news/opinions primarily by social media influencers. Unfortunately the CFL is an old white man sport , so it's not going to really get any traction on social media as well.

He had character issues prior to the signing and then couldn't make the field more then likely because of his attitude and then gets arrested afterwards. The club "was" known for keeping and signing guys with good character (Lawler being the exception in the last few years).

I don't understand the "hate" for people going South for winter and how it is related to domestic flights being expensive. I don't believe airlines are subsidizing flights to Mexico by charging more to folks wanting to travel back and forth from Calgary? The only hate should be Air Canada taking billions from our Gov't and yet still outsourcing most of the jobs and charging customers top dollar for mediocre services. Me thinks you are in a time warp and think that it is the 80's where a family could travel via car for an affordable rate while only the rich and upper class can fly to Mexico. These days it's the opposite, our family road trips that we take are extremely expensive in comparison for the value that we have when we fly to Mexico. I've encountered several people in my life who didn't understand going South for winter.... until they went one time and then realized how great it is and after going once couldn't wait until they could go back again. Many of them regretted waiting so many years until going. Leaving Winnipeg in -30 weather and arriving somewhere tropical and getting that blast of hot +25 humid air as you leave the plane is sublime.

Inflation has hit the States big time over the last few years. It was really expensive for us travelling in Spring where food and lodging was pricier then in Canada.

In this video for the last TD.... can the Blue sign the receiver Malik Turner? That juke and speed was real nice! Perkins in that TD run it was hilarious on how bad those defenders froze and watched him... if that is a representation of the talent in the UFL then yikes.
