Even homeless people have internet... the number of people without internet must be extremely small.

2026 Bombers Season
Does anyone think that any vets will be cut? My only guess would be Castillo. I can't imagine any surprise names being let go this year.

PS Game #2
That one play where he was already in 2nd gear running with easily 5+ yards of free space and then him stopping and awkwardly throwing to his right completely off balance made me think he was told no running at all. I was also wondering for the interception if he was trying too hard to make a play knowing that he had limited time. The arm isn't the greatest but it wasn't Russ Michna level of noodle-ness.

2026 Bombers Season
Considering how bush the CFL is.... someone could rebroadcast the stream on YouTube.

2026 CFL Around The League (Not Bombers Specific)
He did more to promote the CFL internationally in that one video then the CFL has ever done.

Have they announced what the break down is between who is paying the 500 million? The reports keep saying DAZN this and that... what if Bell is paying 450 million and Dazn only 50 million or something along those lines? I'd be curious to know the breakdown.

PS Game #2
I guess I watched a different game, I thought their was a lot of positives in tonights game. The score really didn't tell the full story, the secondary for which I assume none of these guys are going to start was the reason for it being lopsided. I really liked the pressure of our d-line and the solid tackling from most of the guys. On O , the makeshift o-line did a great job protecting both QB's. Singer looked like he belongs. TE made the right decisions and good throws. Perkins didn't help his cause but looked much better after trying to not force things. I wish that they had given him the 3rd quarter, that was a big mistake from the team. Clearly he needs to be moving around and won't succeed as a drop back passer. Special Teams looked good. Overall we looked good against Rourke and company and outside of some crappy play by **** players like Stuart, things look good. Now the fact that so many of our vets basically didn't play at all during pre season... that might be another story.

Lack of talent and charisma forces the guy into being a "jerk" to get any sort of attention. I read his post which was complete nonsense. I'd like to think the majority of CFL fans who watch on tv are part of the older demographics who do not engage in online trolling. Soooo the league is changing the rules and field because of International fans or because they are moving towards catering to an American fan......

The International market is a dream that will never exist. IF Europe or China were to suddenly enjoy Football... why would they watch the CFL when the NFL is already much more international and has way more appeal. It's a phantom market that doesn't exist. Canada is the only market that the CFL can exist and maybe some day thrive again.

2026 CFL Around The League (Not Bombers Specific)
After thinking more of about this deal, I think it's a short term money burst until they gut the league and try to scam some American cities into making a new league which ultimately will kill everything off. Beginning of the end of the CFL. I fully expect in 2028 they get rid of Canadian players and try to expand to the US market. Also 4 downs.

PS Game #2
They have done this in the past.... with subpar results.

I wonder if he trades Dru and signs MBT as a veteran backup.

New TV Contract
How many people do you know currently have a DAZN subscription... now how many people do you know have a Netflix / Prime / any other larger streaming service.... I don't think a guy across the world who has a DAZN sub to watch Cricket is going to tune into CFL Saturday nights. I've only known a few complete die hard MMA/boxing fans who used to use DAZN because back in the day it was a thing for C level fighting leagues to get a streaming provider. It was hot garbage and none of the promotions as far as I could tell generated any large revenue with being with them. If I am to believe the subcriber numbers from google: Netflix - 325 million Prime - 200 million HBO Max - 140 million Disney+ - 131 million YouTube Premium - 125 million Paramount+ - 80 million Hulu - 64 million and waaaaaaay lower is Dazn with 20 million for which a large portion is outside of North America because of the Soccer streams they have. Sooo you were saying unawareness? How is this going to attract new fans? Maybe it's a short term money influx but long term it's impossible to think this is a good for growing the league. All I can see is this alienating the die hards (on top of adding the new rules) and basically making the CFL an even lower presence in Canada.

DAZN is where desperate leagues/promotions go to for a tv deal. Not a good sign at all. Zero casuals are going to buy a DAZN subscription just to watch Saturday night CFL games. Had it been Prime/Netflix it would have made sense. In a time when technology has moved so far ahead... I keep going back to the illegal streams just to watch the few things that I enjoy.
