What kind of salary did Bryant pull? That's the type of guy (along with Neufeld & Jefferson) that you go younger and cheaper. Have to sign at a reduced salary.

I don't think anyone on here believes Jake Thomas will have any sort of impact on how the team plays. Its more of the mentality of this club having bizarre attachments with certain players for no reason at all. He's being hired because of loyalty and a nice guy... clearly they didn't scout and attempt to find the best person available. Its possible that Jake Thomas has a genius football mind and that we are over looking the hire. But for myself I think this is a pity hire. I'd rather they hire a young guy with a mind for the game who could learn under our other coaches and potentially be upgraded as a DC or HC down the road.

I'd watch a show with Matty , Walby, and 2 other drunks gabbing about the CFL. Sign me up!!!

I remember the last time we cheaped out on a place kicker and how that ended up... Castillo is far from being an easy cost cutting player.

What a weird few messages, a drunk addict who embarrassed his father (yet again) and who was going to get cut off decided to kill his parents in a drug fuel rage. I don't think Rob Reiners political stance made any iota of a difference from what happened that night. Reading/watching about the kid and how f'd up he was over many years it was not a surprise that he did the unthinkable. I don't think baby'ing a manchild for so many years is a valid reason to be killed.

TV is more so for personalities, Barker was annoying. I look forward to BLM retiring and joining the panel.

I will chime in that we went to the Winter Wonderland lights at the Downs this year for the first time and it was fantastic. I would recommend for anyone who has not gone yet, it is worth checking it out next year when it comes back. I think the drive was around 20 minutes in length , 30 dollars per car (a bit steep), but my youngest had the biggest grin on her face which made it well worth going.
