  1. Jay was a terrific back. Richard Crump was part of that era too. I remember Crump rushing for 3 TDS one game. He had a decent run here but didn’t match the productivity of Washington.
  2. Unfortunately, I missed that part of the game, as, that day, a group of my friends and I enjoyed a large scale experience with electric Kool-Aid (punchbowl version). We lasted with the game until the half, but became far more interested in the wonderful world of Disney on another channel.
  3. 22 yr old Richard Nemeth played R Tackle this game at 6'6', 245.....75 lbs. less than Yoshi at the same height.
  4. If these comments piss you off, I can’t imagine that there is a lot on this board that makes you happy.
  5. I’m a little alarmed that you haven't mentioned Brock in the arm strength thread. What’s up?
  6. Big arms are like big dix. That’s all I’ve got.
  7. ...and our DLine was not so deplorable that we couldn't find a spot for Greg Peach.
  8. ....and filthy. He was going for Bailey's knees when Sheed turned the tables on him.
  9. Yoshi probably still asked for Osh's blessing to take the position. He has that level of respect for his coach.
  10. The spotlight on the 2024 season shines directly on Pierce and to a lesser degree, Younger. As a rookie coordinator, JY can be allowed time to grow while still retaining Ritchie’s existing defensive philosophies, without major repercussions. Best case, he puts his own stamp on the D and they respond positively. Buck is well involved in his gig, but this year, he can truly maximize the 2QB rule beyond what most (all) of the teams have at their disposal. With Streveler’s abilities, along with his experience playing our game (and hopefully, a good working relationship with Zach) our playcalling can really change the way we play. Having 2 QBs can be an unusual and unpredictable formation and can put the defence on its heels trying to prepare for the play, especially if your two QBs have different skill sets Will Buck help reinvent our game by utilizing the QB1-QB Hybrid option and more importantly, will Osh allow this to happen?
  11. Cue the “Hurtigs of Vaughan Street” theme: “Every Sha-la-la-la Every Wo-o-wo-o Still shines”
  12. Playing a bit of silly bugger here. Imagine a world where a player (Dru Brown) whose neg. rights have been traded (Ottawa), yet after careful consideration, he chooses to resign with Wpg. Im guessing that the trade agreement doesn’t allow for this or minimally revokes the terms of the original trade.
  13. Was listening to Bob guesting on OB yesterday. If anything, he sounds more energized than before retirement. Clearly, he just needed a break, now -Get that man back on the mic!
  14. Would love it for #97 to call him out on it during Sunday's pre-game.
