  1. I'm talking about hesitation and being unsure which robs him of his greatest asset which is speed. Pinball was from another era and one of a kind.
  2. I disagree. A speed guy like Lankford has to pick his spot and commit to it.
  3. I'm still not convinced on Lankford. The one he did take back was in spite of the lane he initially picked being shut down. I put that one down to luck and speed, not returner savvy. The great returners don't bounce around like he does.
  4. I was wondering what other people thought of him tossing the ball at the end of the run. Not the best angle but I'm not 100% sure he had broken the plane before relinquishing control of the football.
  5. I feel cheated more often now than when there was no video review at all. It's broken.
  6. I don't see continuity helping in scouting. Murphy brought his database here from Calgary and never missed a beat. MacManus did the same when he came from Hamilton. Unless it is your first scouting job, you have the contacts already built.
  7. Looked busted to me the way they were holding it walking off. Hope not, that's a huge hole to fill.
  8. Tired of seeing his back on the other team's highlight reels.
  9. Burke was the worst. Deer in the headlights. You'd think a guy who wanted to be a head coach for so long would have more of an idea what he was going to do once it happened. Zaleski had NO talent to work with, still think he was no good though. When Hoss Houmard is your best player you are in deep trouble. I still remember being at a game, the old bench seating and the guy behind me yelling on every single play "give it ta Hoss!". Reinbold also a case of being over his head, worked hard and the players loved him though. Funny how not having a quality QB is the recurring theme here too.
  10. Also factor in the point spread at the time. If you only need one, that's what you do.
  11. Durant and Willy are long time buddies. That could have some bearing on it, probably will help Willy playing behind him again. I'm sure Durant gave rave reviews to management. Also a one year deal, they aren't 100% sold on him. Could be Willy's last contract unless he proves something.
  12. His injury record is Buck Pierce-like the last few years. 17 games to go still. By Labor Day we could all be wondering why he didn't retire.
  13. Trestman is good but not like they had chopped liver in Milanovich. Predict same as last year, start promising and fade when Ray is hurt.
