Those are all salary related, just said in 3 different ways. The Als weren't willing to pay him what his contract says. They get money shifted around to off season bonus money instead of the steady money on the check. It is a little silly the level of security players have. Pro sports, especially football player have a short enough half life as it is. I hope at some point the league and PA move to better player issues like this.
