Jets Projected Depth Chart

Might need some depth pieces for the Moose / callups.

I would guess Sgarbossa ends up going to the Moose, Copp centres the 4th line with Connor / Lemieux / Petan, but there are some nice young pieces on the Moose that will be used for injury callups.

Can see some more depth D signings for the Moose.   Wondering if Nosier and Poolman would be the first to get their chance with injury callus.

Sgarbossa is signed to a one way contract...?  That doesnt make sense really

He will spend some time in the PB. Hes actually a pretty decent player.... Good depth center.

Might get some disagreement here but

Mason Helle

Trouba Morrissey

Buff Kulikov

Myers Enstrom

Laine Scheif Ehlers

Connor Little Wheeler

Perreault Lowry Armia

Lemieux Copp Matthias

Sgarbossa and Chia upstairs with Dano.

I dont think they are done yet tho... I think Petan and or Dano are moved.

Well he had 9 points in 38 games in the NHL last year so he is capable.  Kinda seems like a Brian Strait type situation where he is on a one-way but may spend the year with the Moose anyways, depending on injuries.

Everyone got Poolman in the top 8 but he had double surgery and may not make training camp even.

" Poolman will now undergo bi-lateral shoulder surgery with the first surgery coming later this week(early Apr). His availability for Winnipeg Jets training camp will be determined upon completion of his second surgery. "

Poolman is RFA after this season and an old rookie - if there is ANY way to get him game time, the Jets will do it.  Just like Copp.

I've never waited for it to be legal. That's silly.

Should Petan stay, or should he go now?

I think his trade value is close to zero so I see no reason why we wouldn't just hold on to him.  Maybe we get destroyed by injuries and he gets a legit shot in the top-six and blows everyone away.  I'd rather that happened here than elsewhere.  Is it fair to him?  Maybe not but I don't really care about that.
