Pretty well all the college guys that were taken early at last years draft and of course Connor and Roslovic both of which I consider  2  of our better prospects, and Poolman who is still recovering from shoulder surgery and is probably not available.

Id imagine Poolman is available otherwise he wouldn't be on the roster.

Great D this year. Lacking upfront tho but Harkins spacek Appleton will be fun to watch... Some of the invited players are intriguing also.

Got to watch all 3 games this weekend, we have some good prospects who a are a few years away, Poolman did finally play today like what I saw, Niku will play for the Jets someday, Harkins got better as the tourney went on. Berdin is a nice prospect in net but is a long way if ever, Spacek had glimpses but I don't know.

Heard someone on TSN1290 analyzing the Jets from this weekend.  Didnt catch who.  He said Logan Stanley is still a project but had surprising mobility.  But his decision making was still half a step behind.  Said Harkins was good.  Said Niku was almost ready and I think he called him a proto-typical D man in todays NHL.  He's 21 next month and has been playing over-seas.  He's also a Left Shot! (Replacement for Toby??)

Golly wouldn't that be nice?!  Comparables are there; Toby spent his first few pro seasons overseas, undersized, late draft pick.   From what we've heard, excellent skater.

Gotta figure he's ready for full-time AHL duty at minimum. That'd be a nice step up from Liiga.

Does he also give the puck up constantly in his own end, never goes in corners and allows the opposition to own the front of our net?  Then the comparables would be off the charts.

Where is Vesalainen playing this year?  Finland?

Technically he could play for the Moose already cuz Europe but hes got a 1 year contract there. Probably see him next year or the year after. Niku is very good. Your opinion of Enstrom is so wrong its crazy but Niku has potential to be very good. Forget Stanley.. Hes years away... Years... Niku could see games this year if injuries happen.

I heard some analysts calling Niku the the first D call up.  Nice to hear.  Chiarot and Nogier getting pushed by Poolman and Niku for D depth is great.  And it would sure be nice to have some leverage when Toby's deal expires next year...to either retain him cheap or have the option of walking away, which, with the Kulikov signing, might be the thought process.

I am hoping by half way through the year Toby has been pushed  to the press box.  Just  like Stewart last year.
