It's like our last playoff year all over again.

That's how it seems.

With big crowds and warmer weather expected for Saturday's downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade, organizers announced that the crowd favorite dyeing of the Chicago River would be extended one block west to State Street.

"When our Chicago River turns that perfect shade of emerald green, it's an official signal that St. Patrick's Day has arrived in our city," parade committee Chairman James Coyne told reporters Tuesday at the training center of Plumbers Local 130, which sponsors and organizes the event.

Plumbers are experts concerning green water.

There is a Green River, I think in Washington state or Oregon.

Today's Winnipeg Jets morning skate injury update (via Sara Orlesky):

Centre Paul Stastny will play tonight after missing last game.

Jacob Trouba has been cleared to play and is a game time decision.

Adam Lowry and Mark Scheifele are out for tonight, they will practice Saturday and then see how they feel heading in to Sunday's game vs Dallas

Winnipeg Jets Head Coach Paul Maurice says Toby Enstrom is “close” to returning.

There is - and a serial killer named after it, currently serving time in Walla Walla state pen, if memory serves.

Frosty the Jets are usually injury prone close to the end of the season and we cannot afford these injuries this time around

I'm glad to hear that Stastny's okay and Trouba might play tonight

That's gotta be among the worst in the NHL. And yet, the Jets still are in the top 5 overall... That's pretty unreal.

And here's a pretty good read from ESPN on the Jets: http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/22745770/nhl-why-winnipeg-jets-envy-30-other-teams

Worked hard, fought, had no qualms about blocking shots.

Will miss that part but we will never see Matt again.

This reminds me of when Scar told the hyenas that if they stuck with him, they would never go hungry again.  But they did go hungry.  Things were much worse under Scar than they were under Mufasa.
