Goalie Posted December 18, 2014 Report Share Posted December 18, 2014 Don't see a trade happening, roster freeze is tomorrow, so Jets are gonna have to go with what they got right now. Little xmas break coming up, not much of one but still... all star break soon after, has to be, Jets might get lucky and have enstrom back in a couple weeks. Until then tho, It is what it is, totally sucks but.... what can you do. Either go with what you got or call a guy up from St Johns. Chirot has looked solid, without toby and bogo getting hurt, chiarot wouldn't have had a look. Bring up Kichton or one of the guys from St Johns, see what happens. If it doesn't work out, then you can look at the trade route but the team seems to be doing alright as is, is stuart a big loss? sure but he's not as big of a loss as toby trouba and bogo were and the team was doing just fine without them. Only D-man that would be eligible to be picked up I think is Shane O'Brien from Florida (was placed on waivers yesterday) Can't say I'm overly familiar with him but he has over 500 NHL games played in an 8 year career. Melichori (sp) is a left D. Kichton is a right. Chiarot looked very good against Buffalo, he didn't look like a liability at all and playing him really isn't much of any drop off compared to Stuart.
