Kodi (XBMC) - Bomber Games

Recommended Posts

I wasn't sure if this should go in a new thread or the TV thread but decided to keep it separate.  Does anyone else use Kodi (formerly XBMC) to stream TV? Does anyone know what add-ons to use to get Bomber games?  Is it possible to get Bomber games?  I am fairly new to it and have it setup on a TV box and laptop but so far have had no success with getting any TSN channels to work.  I have heard they are just temporarily down.  Anyone willing to help a brother out!

I've used Kodi a lot over the last 6 months but haven't had a chance to try it on a bomber game yet.  For TSN streams (when they are up) I use either the Phoenix or Vdubt25 add-ons.

Does Phoenix currently work? I click on it. It loads for a second then doesn't do anything. I get eh same with live CBC says no streams available. Some say my wifi isn't strong enough. I may look into a new router or getting a better high speed package if that's the case.

I'll check it out when I get home tonight but it's been working for me. I've been watching the nhl playoffs (albeit on nbc sports) and haven't had any problems.

Thanks! I managed to get last nights game going but in extremely low non existent definition lol. If its working on yours then I know it's something on my end.  I will try Navi X also.

The TSN feeds weren't working for me on any of the add-ons I tried (Phoenix itself was working for other feeds though).  I looked around a little bit and it seems TSN changed their encryption about a month ago so that's why the feeds aren't working at the moment.  I'm sure it's just a matter of time before someone cracks it though.

I'm trying to find the ESPN schedule for this year so I can find an alternate feed if the TSN ones aren't working.  The CFL website is pretty dated (they only have the 2013 US TV schedule posted) so hopefully something pops up soon.

Phoenix TSN feeds currently don't work but look for an addon called Navi-X, they have a BUNCH of live TV streams and I was able to find TSN and TSN2 in pretty decent quality. I know that SportsDevil also carries any sports I've wanted in the past month or so (Basketball, Baseball, Hockey) all in pretty good quality too.

If you need any help just shoot me a PM :)

Awesome info. Keep posting dead links and good ones when they come up :) got a new router and made a world of difference as I was trying to get a good signal in my basement. New router is waaaaaaay better. The moment I can get bomber games Bell is gonzo. I can't stand paying that much for something I only use for bomber games lol.

So another issue I get. I go to Phoenix the nhl then click on say tonight's game then home game and it asks me to pick a bandwidth. It's the only add on that does this. I click on any of them (tried them all) and it does nothing. Anyone get this?

The great thing about nhl on Phoenix is that if you miss the game, they archive every game. You can watch a condensed version home or away, full version, or a version without commercials and all in very good quality. It's awesome.

Most streaming sites will ask you what bandwidth you wish to stream. It is a matter for me of just finding one that works in the list.

Tsn 1 thru 5 was extremely good for a while... If you have a browser with a ad block there is also a few good sites that provide decent quality streams.

What sites are those? I was using Wiziwig but it got shut down.

You might want to consider getting Kodi...and the necessary addons which are easy to install...a lot easier without all the junk

No Kodi has to be installed on a computer or specific players which get attached to your Tv. There are windows versions, android versions, and linux based versions. There are many many players out there which run Kodi very nicely around the $100 mark. I have one which is somewhat more expensive it is a Minix Neo X8-h plus, and is great!

If you have a mind to, you could also build a computer to act as htpc...a home theatre computer with windows or linux.

Even a Raspberry Pi 2...the latest which costs $35 will run Kodi quite nicely.

hope this helps....

But what if you try all the different Bandwidths (4500-150) and non of them work at all?  Is this an issue on my end?

I've never found a bandwidth option on Phoenix that works.. ever. Phoenix seems to also be a shell of it's former.

I've had no issues with SportsDevil but DigiTele is good too.

These apps seem to come and go every few months. This is why I suggest navi x as it at least usually always maintains working links.

Actually most don't seem to come and go every few months these days...I rarely use Navi X and get everything I want.

It's hard to say...all depends on your setup...best not to use wifi though if you can avoid it.

I disagree.. Phoenix was fantastic for UFC and then the Fight area was disbanded... it was then great for the TSN HD feeds.... those no longer exist...      Sports Devil is barely usable these days... most of the options are just dead links and only one or two sources provide any feeds.

VDupt seems to be the best one lately for me to get any feeds...

For movie / TV stuff 1channel and icefilms are definitely A+++

You can disagree that's fine...There are more ways to get what you want than just Phoenix. But Phoenix is great during the hockey season if you can't watch a game you want to see live. Other things in Phoenix work just fine...you are just cherry picking. So tell me are you getting the UFC and the fight area and TSN HD feeds in Navi X?

The point is there are many addons available in Kodi...you just need to find what works for you. By the way...it's all free...so you want perfection?
