That article is joke. Winnipeg has a whole lot of problems, including racism, but it's not different from any other city. Of course, we have Buff, who's had no problems settling in here. And, we have a football team made up of men from different ethnicity's and different backgrounds. We embrace anyone and everyone, regardless of their background, as long as they play with the team in mind and act respectful. We'll even put up with some self-promotion as long as you're not a distraction. Kane was run out of town, not by the fans, but by his own teammates. That tells you everything you need to know about Kane, the person.

An easy explanation is simply she retained that vague memory from her birth as a result of the extremely strong Force power she had (If I recall correctly, she touches Luke when he is born but I always thought it would make sense if she had touched Leia and was the cause of this "memory"). I thought he admitted lying to Luke (the real reason was because when A New Hope came out, Lucas had not decided on the "Father" twist). Meh, Vader was a Sith and used the "Jedi" weapon too. I suppose it would have been more special if only Jedi (and fallen Jedi) used the light saber but then you wouldnt get the cool sword fights in the Prequels. Ben referring to Yoda as his mentor makes sense. He was a padawan when Qui-Gon died. While he was advanced to Jedi Knight as a result of his death, he clearly looked at Yoda as a mentor (going to him for advice). And it was Yoda who assigned him training at the end of Sith (to learn how to return as a Ghost). The Prequels sucked but those complaints are nitpicks.

Didn't Gackle grow up in Winnipeg? What a terribly written article and absolutely perplexing he can put this garbage together after that "love letter" he penned back in January, essentially defending the city after the whole "cold and dark" incident took place. Gackle makes no mention of the fact the Bay Area has a completely different sports make-up than Winnipeg and the Sharks are arguably behind the 49ers, the Raiders, the Warriors, the Giants, the Athletics, and maybe even the Earthquakes in terms of popularity and exposure. There is no apples to apples comparison between there and here. One could make a similar argument for Buffalo. However, I am certain racism and bigotry are alive and well in the Bay Area. I suppose Gackle didn't pay attention to what happened with a former 49ers QB a while back. As per usual with Evander Kane, more finger-pointing and zero accountability for one's own actions. Not a peep about his me-first attitude, his immaturity, or how he rubbed his teammates the wrong way with his antics. He got blasted for the money phone incident because it happened during the 2012-13 NHL Lockout, a time where employees of arenas were out of work and not getting paid. He was criticized across the hockey world for his utter lack of tact, flaunting a stack of cash while partying in Las Vegas. Dustin Byfuglien is by definition a minority in the hockey world but he's gotten along in Winnipeg just fine. Of course there's not a word of that in this click-bait rag. What absolute horse-****.

Its a better movie after you've seen it once because your expectations are zero and you've seen all their terrible creative decisions. I actually liked it even less the second time because I saw more things that aggravated me. Its interesting that even people attached to the franchise speculate about thing like Luke's fate, Rey's parents, Snoke...in a way where they think what we got in TLJ wont hold up in the third. That tells you even people there think it sucked.

It has nothing to do with nostalgia. It's just a poorly written and directed movie. Cinematography is fantastic and the acting is good. That's where it ends.

My eyes could not stop rolling. Apparently Winnipeg is super racist... yet no mention about how culturally diverse our city is and how Dustin Byfuglien has had zero issues and is beloved by the city. Article glosses over Kane's off ice issues and says his NBA attitude is just misunderstood and nothing at all about him being a selfish bad team mate. I really can't wait until he wears out his welcome in yet another city.

If Henoc Muamba signs in Montreal "for the money" & the Als win 3 games this season then Muamba should be prepared for Kavis to renege on his contractual obligations to him by dumping his big salary next off season. Muamba will be treated like Kyries Hebert. No bonuses paid. Gonzo. So, he can sign for the money but be prepared to do another tour next off season. Man, this guy does not get it. For a little less, he has the chance to be a Grey Cup champ here. Oh well, he can do what he likes. Good luck with that if he signs in Montreal.

I can't see him fitting into the Jets' future plans simply based on the salary cap and the fact the team has a number of upcoming free agents to re-sign. Little's 6-year extension which kicks in starting next season is one particularly large factor, IMO.

Am I wrong but I think Chris Jones did Muamba some dirty by releasing Muamba now when most teams would have to juggle salaries to fit him in. I don't think Muamba deserves this "Tour" crap. He didn't ask for this. Further more choosing between a couple of teams is not a "Tour". When you take a job seriously you meet the management that you would interact with. I didn't watch Muamba's work the last couple of years. I remember him as being kind of good for the Bombers in the beginning of his career. I am looking forward to seeing Muamba back in blue but I am not so much of a fan as to expect an athlete to not try and find the best situation in a very short work life.

This angst over and scorn of Muamba is ridiculous. Fans going on about a "tour" and "we need to focus", blah, blah blah. He's not out holding press conferences, all flashy, talking about having teams compete. He's an FA, who likely has multiple offers and is discussing them with his people and family. If the Bombers needed a decision right away, they would have said so and put a timeline on the offer. And, maybe they did. Stop pretending like having him sign on March 9th is any different from having him sign on April 9th.
