I don't honestly know. Even without a history of police run-ins I still give the cops the benefit of the doubt on this one. Nobody got shot despite an alleged assault on an officer, I'd say this ended as well as anyone could hope for. People should be suspicious of police and their powers should be checked and balanced but to assume police brutality and racial discrimination at every turn is so divisive and plain silly. That's the last I'll say on it here, this is a football forum after all

I counted 9 cops. I wonder if the original charge was "walking while black". Detaining a black/latino/asian on a pretext and then charging them with resisting arrest is a very common practice down in the USofA. If they happen to find any contraband, that is a bonus.

Noooooo! as a kid I watched Night Court religiously. Turns out he was also on Cheers (I didn’t start watching til later). Played an occasional guest role as Harry The Hat, a magician and trickster that would often swindle Sam and the others. Fun characters.

A bison or rifle qb? perhaps the acadia rifle bob cameron? probably too busy renoing houses. Some one new? possibly but doubtful. Buck pierce? who knows. But I dont think we will roll through mini camp with 3 arms. Deeper into my crystal ball i see over all every one having a solid mini camp. But that the fastest wrs will shine the most.

Chris Cuthbert would be a big improvement on Paul Romanuk. He's definitely the Rod Black of Sportsnet.

The problem is simply the B network in Canada has national rights, and for some reason they employ (mostly) C level talent. You could put together quite the broadcast crew just with guys sitting on their couch this spring.

He was NXT Champion. He was actually really good when he was in WWE years ago as Vince's "Chosen One" but pushed too hard too fast. When he left WWE, he worked all over and became a lot better. His run in NXT was very good. He has everything. He's gigantic, has a great look, is a good worker and decent promo. Way way better than Cass (which isnt a knock on Cass since he's not nearly as experienced as Drew). They might be going for a Shawn/Diesel dynamic with Ziggler and Drew. But its interesting how WWE thinks. Of course, their unwavering desire to push Roman but in the main event of RAW, they presented Roode and Lashley like top guys and neither guy got a reaction from the crowd. Drew did though. I was really thinking they should do Lashley/Brock. But man...next week, if they want to shake thing sup, have Drew interrupt and confront Brock. Crowd will go wild.

Yep, it's not an unbelievable story at all. Pretty run of the mill and if not for the fact he was a college star in Oklahoma where he was arrested it probably wouldn't have been very newsworthy. Besides, there is an apartment building full of possible witnesses with camera phones... pretty elaborate cover story that would easily be debunked by a single YouTube video. It's far easier for me to believe Roy Finch acted in a criminal manner than 9 cops "beat him up for fun" no matter how tantalizing a headline that would make.

Looks like they want Defensive players that can tackle. Notwithstanding their public statements, probably our coaching staff was embarrassed/irritated with some of the crappy tackling they had to endure last season. (The fifteen yard td run that finished us off, five guys taking turns whiffing for instance) Looks like that might be changing. Three of the guys signed in the last while, at least on highlight tapes, are tackling, not going for stupid airborne hits.

I may be biased, but I stand by the Bombers on this one. It's a business, and the Bombers can't wait around forever for you to make your decision. The Bombers can't just sit around twiddling their thumbs waiting for Henoc to make a decision. If he signed here, the Bombers probably would have had to release someone to make room under the cap. Maybe some of the players the Bombers were planning to move were due bonuses, which could make this more complicated. The scouting staff needs to know if they are bringing in INT LBs. It's not like the money they were offering is league min and can easily be worked out under the cap, it was pretty significant amount that requires planning for a contending team. Montreal was patient, or the only ones left???

The Andre the Giant doc is on youtube... it was decent but definitely had 15 - 20 minutes of unnecessary time spent on the rise of Hogan and WWE. I found the first part of the doc great where they spoke of what the man was like away from the ring. I wish they would of focused more on his troubles of being a giant in the real world and less on how he could fart for 30 seconds.

Tyler was my facebook friend but we seldom, if ever talked. I followed his twitter account. I have other friends on facebook who knew him very well & are devaststed. So sad. RIP Tyler.
