Imo they need more depth at forward. I think they were bottom five in the league in goals. Gaudreau is elite, Monahan & Tkachuk are good, Backlund is decent, and that's about it. Ferland's not bad, but he got 20 goals mostly b/c they let him play with Gaudreau.

To tell you the truth, I hate most NHL teams. Very few that I would actually cheer for and only because they have particularly special players that I'm fond of. So, piss on every team not the Jets.

My wife has a great job with the Tom Baker Cancer Centre here in Calgary. I also work here. One of my 2 sons was born here. The other one is married & they live here My other son is getting married this summer & will be living in Seattle. Short 12 hour drive to the Emerald City or a bit over an hour by air. My teams are the Jets & Bombers but our lives are in Calgary.

Wood is a bit of an oddball running back. He seems to be fast more than quick, although did not show breakaway speed. More shifty than a power runner and a sort of blend of all running back assets but not outstanding in any area. In the film clip, he didn't seem to break many tackles.

I have seen Cierre Wood play several times and always thought he would play in the NFL. If he comes up with the right attitude and isn't nicked up, then he could be a player.

yeah, this year feels way different than the 90s Jets did. Back then at our very best we were a hard-luck bubble team who needed way more bounces than we ever got.

in the cfl I dont think so. I think a lot of teams weigh BPA with needs and positions of depth. Though its possible no team is ever close to the same page over all, I think after the top tier of talent it gets wide open. So the difference between BPA and a player a team likes better or fills the roster better is a big factor.

Give the @mnwild credit. At least they don't play games with injuries. Kelly Moore I personally don't think it's playing games when teams don't divulge the specifics about injuries. I don't know how knowing the specifics of the injury is relevant (yes interesting, curious but not relevant) to anyone but the hockey team and the players families. All I need to know is lower body, upper body out for 6-8 weeks. But that's just my perspective.

The problem is simply the B network in Canada has national rights, and for some reason they employ (mostly) C level talent. You could put together quite the broadcast crew just with guys sitting on their couch this spring.
