I've recently installed the next major version release of the forum software. Does not seem to be anything too major in the UI part of the site. A lot of the upgrades seem to be under the hood enhancements like updates to search and the admin panel. Depending on the browser you use, you may be seeing a javascript error at the top of the page. Hope to have that resolved in the next little while with either the version release of this theme or the installation of a new theme. Let me know if you see any errors or experience any problems.3 points -
Round 2 - Game 2: Jets @ Predators

Wow what a game. Very hard to breath at times. Lots of yelling (good and bad) at the TV last night. Not the outcome we obviously wanted but there's this calmness that all is still good that is way different from previous year feelings. As much as I love MH, two bonehead plays on his part taking a penalty in the offensive zone while we were pressing hard and negating Copp's go-ahead goal. No way Hendricks needs to interfere with the D man and Goalie. Selfish plays on his part. My opinion on Enstrom is he's playing okay, just brings a different skill set to the table than Morrow. Obviously he is working off the rust by not playing since March and lacks that physical prowess but is very smart with the puck and still can adeptly play the corners. I can see us inserting Morrow back into the lineup before this series is up. Buff manhandling two preds at once was magic. Buff is playing vintage Buff. Without Buff in our lineup, space becomes even more limited for our guys. Loved how Buff grabbed PK Subban to remind PK Subban that he'll need to come to him before going to any of his Jet teammates. I officially have a huge hate on for the Preds. I fell in love more with Paul Statsny after him defending Laine from PK Subban. Loved Copp's 2nd intermission interview with Scott Oake basically telling him that they've hated the Preds all year, it didn't take this playoff series to confirm that. Pekke Rinne is not playing like the best goalie in the league that Jamie Mclennan thinks he is. Flopping around like a fish out of water. I like our chances back in the Peg.3 points -

Tuesday, CBC, SN at 7:00 p.m. Tagline: "Country Music Hall of Fame at Human Rights Museum" Storyline: Jets return to the "White House" with home advantage now in their grasp in a series that is starting to look as skilled and as nasty as advertised. Celebrity Quote: “Life is like a ten speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use." Peanuts creator, and Minnesota born-hockey fan Charles M. Schultz Quote #2: “Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way." Baseball pitcher Satchel Paige. Recycled fun fact: Connor Hellebuyck is 7-0-1 with 2 shutouts and a .949 save percentage in the next game played after giving up 5 or more goals. Fun fact #2: Sunday's game was the longest game ever played in Winnipeg Jets history, either 1.0 or the Atlanta days.2 points -

Enstrom and Morrissey got beat one on one by nearly the exact same move last night. I guess they figured there's no way they'd try it twice... I wasn't impressed by any of the Jets' effort back checking for the gwg. I never noticed Hendricks' change during the game, but that's ugly. We really need Armia or Perreault to get healthy asap.2 points -

Bad plays happen in OT - they almost have to. IMO the Preds barely achieved a split at home and now they have to come back to Winnipeg.2 points -

KC had a wicked game - huge defensive play to save a goal... ridiculous to complain about Lowry and Wheeler - they played great This was a great game - just a bad break on that last play...2 points -

Great movie. Will see it again. But this time I'll wait until the Jets are done their run instead of going on the night they go into frikken double OT. Made for a late night watching it on PVR after the movie. Definitely need to have followed along for the last few years for it Banner trying to Hulk out was priceless. To see Hulk so scared to come out was great. Not sure if Loki is dead or not. He's faked it so many times before I do think this one might stick, but I know a lot of people don't agree. Can't wait a year for the conclusion. Man it's gonna be tough.1 point -
The gauntlet is damaged, think of it as being on cool down. Itll need time. He used it to escape and could use the space gem to reverse the damage to it. Normally when it is used to extreme effect or destroyed the gems scatter them selfs to the corner of the universe or actually break. The fact its intact says it will still work in the future just not at full power for the moment. Thanos still has the gauntlet. As shown it is very difficult to forcibly remove. What i imagine he saw in the iterations where the time or other gems were destroyed was thanos using what is left of the stones and gauntlet to gain another mass extinction level power and using it while bringing greater chaos to the universe. Or that he would instead go planet to planet destroying all life rather then half the planet. I would think he sacrificed every thing so that tony stark would live, and having seen soo much horrible death (spidey especially) that he would be willing to do with out restraint what needs to be done. Perhaps he (and maybe hank pym) create the Ultimate nulifier. or locate it. Tony pre mass extinction may not have been willing to use it to reset the universe. Tony afterwards probably is. Epsecially if pepper died too. Left on the schedule is infinity war 2, black panther 2 and gotg 3, also iirc an un named spiderman 2 is in the works. gotg is the only one that could be at least partly re booted. (original GOTG team)But I have no doubt many of the deaths will be un done in IW2. Also the lack of hulk was confusing and maybe the only disappointment in the movie. That and the utter piss poor use of the infinity stones by their wielders. Dr strange traps dormammu in an endless time loop but does nothing with it worth mention in the movie. Vision gets his butt handed to him by every thing and every one. Loki couldnt use the tesseract to get him thor etc out of danger?1 point

Lowry needs to play better he should b a force in this series, something may be off with him, put him back with Copp and Tanev who are both playing well, Wheeler is starting to annoy me, never cared for Enstrom but there was worse play from our d tonight, KC has disappeared, and I not going to say anything about Hendricks Maurice loves him and only Armia or Matty P gets him out of the lineup. Coming back to Winnipeg the Jets are in great shape I have not seen anything that tells me the Predators are better than the Jets, Tuesday game is a must win to set the tone.1 point -

OMG. That was incredible. So good. That was Thanos' movie. I'm seeing it again tomorrow night. The characters they killed. (Like really, legit killed, not to come back in the next movie or in their own) The ability to get so much narrative and story into a movie packed with action. Incredible. I have no glaring issues with the movie.1 point -

No question the stadium has been and will be subsidized to an extent, like pretty much every pro arena and stadium in North America and probably world-wide. There was no alternative to building a new facility- the old one was crumbling and would have condemned the Bombers to a slow death.1 point -

Further to police vs blacks in the US: A video of a former Edmonton Eskimo defensive back being slammed to the ground during an arrest in Georgia has gone viral, raising questions about the conduct of the officers. Desmond Marrow, who was a member of Eskimos in 2013 and 2014, posted details of his Dec. 2 arrest in a Facebook post last Thursday. The post included video of the incident in which Marrow is heard telling officers that he is not fighting back as they slam him to the ground and begin to choke him.0 points -
