Had lost 12 in a row (one short of record 13 by L.Amedee). - S.J. Green: Was the CFL's most targeted receiver with 12 last week but caught only 5 for 51 yards. - Mike Jones: Went for 120 yards on only 5 catches - an average of 24.0 yards and caught of 2-of-3 deep throws (20+ yards). - FG Kickers: Made 18 of 20 attempts in Week #1 (90%); the all-time record is 84.0% set in 2017. Kickers made all 13 C-1 kicks. - Sean Whyte: Made a field goal from 52 yards, the only kick attempted from beyond the 46-yard line all week. - Ty Long: Led all punters with a 54.4 yard average and a net of 40.9 yards per kick. - Nakas Onyeka: Led all Special Teams tacklers with four - two more than any other player. - Passing dominance: Passing accounted for 74% of all yards gained in Week #1. - 2-&-Outs: Week #1 dropped off a little from 2017 when clubs had a combined 8.7 per game. Last week that number was 10.5.  QB Pressures: The statistic for QB Pressures instituted last year has been suspended for review by the CFL. This is primarily due to its subjectivity and real difficulty in being consistent from play to play. Our coaches have expressed that for it to be helpful it needs to be applied in the same way for each pass drop back but that remains a real challenge for our stats crews.

Leggett honest to god is one of the best defensive players in the CFL. You tell me you're going to line him up at defensive tackle I wouldn't doubt his ability to do it.

Not sure Lafrance who hasn't practiced much at all and isn't in game shape in over Augustine is really the "smart" move I also think Augustine offers more than Lafrance too...but oh well I guess

I hear ya. But in Hamilton, there was no way "the greatest player to ever play in the CFL" wasn't going to be at least 2nd string. In SSK he wasn't going to beat out Glenn, but maybe something to be said for not beating out Bridge. But again. He did get a shot in MTL for a bit, but that was such a bad team he never stood a chance. And I can't remember where else he has been to be honest. I just feel like he hasn't been given a decent opportunity. Maybe there's a reason for it.

Hasn't Gale been on 4 teams also. For depth / emergency I don't see any problems with Adams...

I really hope Adams can be brought in. He hasn't really had a solid chance to develop anywhere except MTL....and that was MTL so not exactly an ideal situation. I'd rather have him than Gale or Ross to be honest.

Civil case is easy lawsuit for damages. It’s on video at least two angles. You can’t just run someone down and harm them, especially when you’re a professional tackler in full equipment. It’s not self-defence in the least, the video is quite clear. Yes the idiot deserves punishment, but Marcell Young isn’t law enforcement or judiciary and he was not being harmed. He’ll have a hell of a time justifying his actions in front of a judge. The world wouldn’t function too well if we all made snap determinations and enforced the law immediately.

I started posting on ourbombers when I was 12 years old and I’m 25 now (wow test of time) some of this **** 12 year old me would have handled more maturally I find it hunerous that grown men come on a football website and look for fights like desperate house wives. Cmon’ fellas, be better... as as far as our new starting qb goes... I thought he was very impressive. I remember seeing the first interception and humming that song “here comes another one,just like the other one...” kid shook it off and after the first couple drives showed a lot of poise in the pocket. Was pouring rain with 2 delays against the best team in the league. Anybody asking for anything more would be dreamin. Great job for him and I look forward to see his progress in Montreal

I feel like Lankford being moved to the PR is an overlooked roster move of the week. I for one didn't think they would do it. Osh and his staff always have seemed to love Lankford, and he has never fully lived up to their faith in him. His fumble last week probably hasn't gotten enough attention for how it altered the game.

Yikes the games this week need to come fast.... so much complaining about a week one game which has little to no impact on the standings for each respective team.

Personally, i'm suprised and very happy with how he showed. For the first time in many years, a QB not name Nichols, an inexperienced QB took to the field, and we didn't blame them for the loss. I think that says alot about how a young rookie, straight from College, showed up in TC, took the backup role, then starting role due to injury and played well against on of the best teams in the league and lost only in the final seconds of the game. Not on him.
