Both your losses are to solid teams so far, especially Hamilton. As long as Streveler is on his A-game, I think it'll be a cushioned victory.

Jones has very few supporters there at the moment and the language the posters are using to describe him are the same as the postings in this forum. How have the mighty fallen.

Yeah once the reigns were off and Strev played with a sense of urgency and quicker tempo..things changed and we were successful. You can say it was against a soft garbage time defense...but it wasn't.. why we game planned the way we did is odd..u hate the "play to not make mistakes," mantra..you lose 90 percent of time. Strevler plays much better all fired up with mixing in his legs

It's one of those games I feel we can win, but I'm also feeling like the pressure is on our offense to keep carrying the load because Richie Hall is such a dumbass on the other side. He completely relies on other QBs getting greedy and forcing throws which certainly can happen with Jennings. But if he's not calling press man coverage and Jennings is content to take dump off throws, it's going to be a long night.

The way I look at this is teams are just trying to catch up to us. We are a top four team already loaded with talent. We lost Stastny but his loss, we were good without him. Why fix something that isn't broken. Tinker yes but don't sell the farm.

Hamilton might be the best team in the CFL right now. You need a starting qb who’s capable of going toe to toe with Masoli to beat them. I don’t see BC as being at all in the class. Should at the very least be a close game if not a convincing bombers win even without Nichols.

pretty cool memory to have! Another great memory was sitting beside @Jpan85 when medlock booted the winner at the last LDC at the old mosaic a few years ago. We had never met before that day and never since but I got lucky and landed some tickets off him and got to witness that!

I have to be the pessimist here. If they can’t even make adjustments to an obviously inept defensive game plan at halftime, I have no reason to believe they’ll beat B.C.

You guys have got Chris Jones alllllll wrong. He’s on the Bombers’ payroll, he does all this crazy shizz to give us not one, but two games worth watching every week. I for one think he’s does a great job and hope he stays in Sask for many years to come!

Our HC doesn't operate like that. I can't see him firing Hall during the season out of respect just because he has played & coached in the CFL for decades. He did fire his STC in 2014 but he was a former U Sports head coach in his first season with the Bombers. No, a Hall firing would be handled a lot differently. We're stuck with the guy, unfortunately.

It would be better but O'Shea kept Hall because of some warped sense of loyalty to the guy. Not because he did a good job. We all knew this would happen with Hall as DC. Everyone knew it except Miller,Walters & Osh. Just how the hell can that be? Players have to perform or they're gone. Why shouldn't it be the same for crappy assistants or coordinators?

Dumb shits do what dumb shits do. The one sequence in particular just shows how bad an idea him playing corner is... He gets beat but the safety comes over and saves his ass by breaking up the pass but Carter turns around and takes a completely stupid roughing penalty to move Montreal down the field. Just unreal how a guy can do **** like that and his coach still happily says he's playing the position. Any other db in the league played like Carter does they'd have been cut a long time ago.

Yeah the D was starting 10 yards off and dropping deeper then coming up to make the tackle after 8 or 9 yards. Great planning. Should have let Hamitlon keep max protection and only sent the 4 on the DL all night and dropped everyone into coverage, make Masoli thread some passes in rather than the easy pitch and catch all night long. We knew that the offence under Streveler was going to struggle in some games, but we were led to believe that the invigorated defence would be better than last year, specifically with the deletion of Hurl and the addition of Bighill. They lied.

Who was at fault in that game? EVERYONE.......the defence needs to get the ball back and the offence needs to keep the defence off the field. Neither of those things happened.

Starting in the 3rd Q we had 10 2 and outs in a row (TSN) ... I put this on Lapo who may have been trying to manage Strreveler way too much .... he was throwing the ball away instead of out running lineman on his tail ... he did not seem to be allowed to operate and make plays in that stretch ... half way into the 4th Q they seemed to take the training wheels off ... this part was on Lapo not Hall
