I just watched part of the game on TSN. I disagree with you all, TSN has been doing their part to make me go to home games. It’s called the “Rod Blackout”.

  4. Three fun facts for this Saturday morning: 1. Winnipeg has 17 touchdowns scored by their national players (Harris-8, Demski-4, Wolitarski-4, Lafrance-1). 2. Winnipeg has allowed 170 points in 8 games, the Riders have allowed 175 in 7 games. That is right, Winnipeg has allowed 5 less points and played one more game than the much vaunted Riders D. 3. Demski is the second leading national receiver behind Sinopoli.

  5. 1. Bighill is everything and more than you want at that position 2. Craig Roh very quite singing but he has been very effective reminds me of more productive Greg Peach 3. Jeffcoat he is turning into a stud HH the crowd the last Hamilton drive the TiCats had no chance to communicate

  6. 👁‍🗨The Morning After..with Coffee. Incredible plays between Masoli and Banks. Some fans blame our defenders but the pass placements were better. Banks performed like a real receiver out there, some real nice catches.. Good pressure all night long from the D-line, a little susceptible to Masoli’s scrambling, but getting the job done. 4 sacks..nice. Long ball? Maybe too many? Or too many to the same guy? Did Masoli outplay Nichols? Maybe slightly in pass % and running, but not in QB efficiency. Nichols only completed 13 passes..but they were the right ones. Medlock? Outstanding kick performance..kicking with the opposite leg? Looked normal to me. Must have practised it. The guy is a pure professional. Randle? No worries there. Hamilton’s opening drive sure looked like trouble was on its way in the long run. The Bombers proved otherwise. Demski - Meet the expression “getting in the groove” Big game for him. How about those back-to-back sacks after the Harris fumble? Good calls eh? Better discipline than the Ti-Cats, and it counted. Dressler’s impressive consecutive catch streak is alive.. Who ‘de mann? Petterman. Nice subbing.. Bennett - special team’s QB ace - another banging tackle.. That Thompkins guy just might prove to be a valuable player.. Andrew Harris.. Bravo to the noise making great fans on that last drive.. I suppose you can say the Bombers beat another below .500 team..or, you can say these teams that we beat are below .500 because we beat them..

  7. Uno, Demski, great returns and an offensive TD. Dos, Bighill, ran the bomber defence from the tiger cat backfield. Tres, Medlock, incredible punts, net zero returns. Happy Honker, Harris, cause he got two 1st downs by free will. One on a 29 yard run, another on a catch at scrimmage and cats were just bouncing off him for 18 yards, AND ANOTHER WINNIPEG FIRST DOWN!

  10. I said earlier in the season when the defence was struggling that at some point this season we'll need them to win a game for us. This was a perfect example where the defence bailed out the offence who at times struggled and gave the cats an opportunity to get back in the game. Hats off to Richie Hall and his charges.

  11. 1. Bighill The straw that stirs the drink for this Bomber D....pressure, sack, forced fumble, and pursuit all over the field. Awesome FA signing 2. Demski This guy finds ways to get to the endzone and make other big plays. Great pickup 3a Harris At this point we take 100+ O from this guy for granted....poster boy for determination and effort everyt ime out 3b. Jeffcoat Abused Hamilton OT all night, with non stop pressure. HM Medlock terrific nite punting Bomber kick coverage Roh looks like productive rotation guy Note Right at the beginning of the season, stated that Petermann "looked like a playa".....convinced that he will be. Expect good things moving forward, with this guy.

  16. The deep ball calls were not a problem. Guys were open, Breaux didn't play. Nichols just missed them time after time.

  17. Not to beat a dead horse but do you think that the former mlb would of made any of the plays Bighill made last night, that's the importance of the position and someone who is a star there, and in Peterman I think we have found a stud star receiver for years to come doesn't matter what his passport says, Randle had a very concerning game hope he bounces back but that was the worst I have seen him play, and stop with so many deep throws Nichols isn't that type of qb, run short to medium passes and then try a long one, also wanna talk about someone who has been kinda a whipping boy around here and that's Neufeld, who playing guard and staying healthy is having a great season and the o line has not missed a beat since last year. 1. Bighill 2 Peteremen 3 Jeffcoat HH Harris Thompkins Roh HHH Dressler Gaitor Special Teams as a whole were great and the crowd was loud as hell, numbers should increase making it even louder. 2nd place folks

  21. 1. Bighill - Best pickup of the offseason by far. 2. Harris - Pounded and spun his way to another big game. 3. Demski - Returned and caught a big TD deep. Happy Honker - Peterman. Just a couple of catches, but he made the most of them.

  25. I loved what Petermann showed. Turned the corner with speed twice and made important gains out of short passes. He is like a young ni dresser.

  26. Randle got beat a couple of times...once when all he had to do was turn around, but the ball was placed perfectly. Nicholls on the other hand...I can't sugar coat it, he looked bad at times. This offense should have put up 40...but we won.

  29. Do you honestly believe the OC tells nichols to throw deep? Cmon. Those long throws are on Nichols.. He had guys open 10 15 yards up field on those 35 yard throws. Coordinators call a play.. The play likely isnt throw to Adams in double coverage tho.

  33. Yeah I rewatched it at home..was gonna say they did mute it..didnt sound nearly as loud actually didnt sound loud at all but it was deafening if u were there. You couldn't even here the in game announcer stuff over the TV either so they had to have toned down sound..wonder why as it really adds to the game experience on tv..stupid TSN I'm sure rider putzes are probably saying that they are louder as it wasn't loud at IGF last night

  40. I assume a large portion of the offensive struggle can be attributed to not having #7 in the game after Q1. That being said, #15 didn't have a great game. Very impressed with Medlock, Harris, Bighill, whole D line......and of course the fans who turned the volume right up for the last minute 20!! And how about our back-up qb Bennett making a sweet special teams tackle !! I've never seen a back up qb play specials, I assume this is pretty uncommon?

  41. We can't go deep as much as we did. We aren't a vertical quick strike passing team like the Eskimos. It's ridiculous to try so often. Our offense is at it's best when Nichols spreads the ball around to everyone & uses misdirection. There was none of that last night. Offensively, Harris won that game for us last night. He was our only weapon.

Just saw a deal for this game for 97$ you can get 4 tickets 4 hot dogs chips and Pepsi plus a parking pass. It cost you 60$ for all that with out the tickets. That’s a pretty good deal.

I've had seasons tickets for the last 15 years (i'm 25) have been paying for my own since I turned 18, I understand it's a bit of a commitment to get to every game and I don't expect that from the casuals. I just don't understand how people find all this time and money magically in the winter to go watch a hockey team that plays 41 home games a year plus playoffs, then pays $20 for parking. Bombers season tickets are CHEAP compared to even buying half a season for the Jets and they provide WAY more options to commute. The weather is beautiful, the product has been good lately, and the atmosphere is way more fun than sitting in that cold arena. my 2 cents.
