Those stats can't be right. Dont they know Nichols has played like ****. He couldnt possibly be 3rd in the league on deep TDs. Not possible. System is rigged. Championships are won week 10 of the regular season. If they dont win this game. All is lost. Burn IGF to the ground!!!!......oh sorry just getting caught up in the hyperbole around here.

I’m not going to freak out and join the “fire everyone” bandwagon but O’Shea and Walters need to have a long hard talk about whether Nichols is the future of this club. Their final determination will decide for me one way or another whether I have faith in them.

When a DE has two interceptions, one for a TD, the QB did not have a good game.

Im fully in the start Streveler fan club but i really want to know WTF is going on with Nichols. The guy was borderline MOP 3/4 through the season last year. What in gods green earth has happened to this guy?!?!?

How and why did Lapo go away from the two back set? Whether it’s with Flanders who I prefer, or with Demski, we’ve had tons of success with that formation. Start Streveler, dress Flanders and let Demski come into the backfield on sweeps. There won’t be a team in the league that could stop our running game. We can’t win throwing with Nichols and this receiving core.

This could be a season turning point. And it's turning in the wrong direction. Osh is going to have to answer all week why he didn't pull Nichols. C Hard to support 15 after this one.

Real easy to stop the run when you can’t pass.

It’s things like sitting Poop Johnson over apparent discipline issues but not holding other players to the same level of accountability. Bowman is traded due to poor play (well deserved), while others get trotted out week after week. There is no visible logic to his decisions.

In his last 11 starts after a Winnipeg defeat the club has gone 9-2 for an .818 winning %. Stopping Harris: With 3 games of 100+ yards this year, Andrew Harris now has 19 in his career. Only ONE of those (Nov 1/13) has come against Calgary. Here is a breakdown of Harris' rushing career as a starter since Aug 13/11; the Stampeders have held Harris to under 60 yards rushing in 12 of the 16 starts he has made against them. The 40 points that they allowed to the Riders was the most they have given up since Jul 29/16 (41 to BC in a 44-41 win). - Calgary Defence / 14-point Q1: Calgary leads the CFL in fewest points allowed with just 15.8 per game. However, that breaks down as an average of 9.2 points over games #1-5, and 26.7 ppg in the last 3 contests. When the O cant move the ball the D gets tired cuz they spend all game on the field.. D kept it close in the first half... And through the 3rd quarter... Our Os biggest plays was by our backup QB. The O and Nichols is problem 1.

What can you do if your O cant stay on the field though. Our D is not super humans that they dont get tired.

Because MOS is a ****ing stubborn ***hole who i am more than done with. He can go back to Toronto and coach special teams.

this rest of this season is not looking promising at all. They seem to be doing the same thing with Nichols they did with Willy. Which means they Learned nothing from that whole experience. Which is maybe the worst thing, they seem to make the same mistakes season after season.

Why leave Nichols in with game out of reach or Harris for that matter ?

At this point I'm on board with giving Streveler a shot and seeing what he can do, and seeing if this is a QB or a OC/head coach problem. I know where I'd put my money but I won't die on a hill for any qb

The only thing the live mic does is show what a weasel Dickenson is. He's a clown. Constantly on the refs with ridiculous requests.

Nichols starts the second half with an underthrow of an open Adams deep and then collapses in the pocket for an ugly throw away. The pitchforks sharpen.

Streveler is honestly the perfect change of pace guy. As long as Nichols doesn’t get his panties in a bunch about it I could see it being very useful giving Streveler a series here and there and maybe more depending how it goes.

Nichols can’t read a blitz presnap or get the ball out quick enough. He’s a 200 yard QB right now and he’s really limiting our offence. That could have been a 30 point half if Nichols could beat a blitz.

We will have to wait another week for a good game from Nichols.

I think doing what's right would be playing through the pain to the point that you can't physically do it anymore. Matt would have to have something broken or a tear to say he can't go. Although I haven't been happy with his play of late, the guy is tough as hell and has come back from some pretty bad injuries over his career. He's a warrior, there's no questioning that.
