And now we've won two in a row and had our best defensive game in a few years. Good thing we're not knee-jerk reacting to everything like some want us to.

The Bombers almost recovered two kickoffs in Edmonton kicking into the wind because their returner was standing at the 5 waiting for the ball, which came down at the 30. That's pretty brutal coaching.

They’re not free and clear, but allowing only 17 points in the last 2 games and 1 offensive TD against in the last 3 games is...pretty good.

I think what happened is Bighill confronted Hall and told him that Biggie is now in charge of the D.

Watching Matt in the last while.....he really seems to be hesitant and getting through his progressions, in the pocket....more slowly. Just does not look as decisive, at times....

The defense played a great game. Nichols played a safe game and it was far from spectacular but it's all that was needed on Saturday. Let me just ask a simple question and this isn't about Nichols per se but was there *anything* about the way the offense played that made you believe that if Edmonton started to roll and started to score quickly that we'd be able to dial it up, change gears and keep pace? If you're honest with yourself, the answer is no.

We win out Eskimos can’t catch us for third. Still a outside chance for second if Riders struggle so you go for second over third. So go Eskimos.

That really pisses me off. What happened to small hog farmers after they got rid of their supply management? All gone now. Rent their farms to big Ag. Dairy farmers provide jobs, support local rural business, and work their asses off. Problem is, probably will not be able to buy Canadian milk in the future, cause American factory farm milk will be a few pennies cheaper. I do not like this at all. American dairy farms are in a money crunch, cause they get squeezed from all sides. they are huge, monstrous operations. So, they'll dump their crud here. So much of Edmonton's O is predicated on Reilly heaving up the long ball to Walker and Williams.......without that aspect....can see Edmonton continuing to struggle on O

I'm with you on hoping that this resurgence of the D doesn't give the team a false sense of where we're at overall. Hate being a Debbie Downer, but, overall, the team has been pretty mediocre for five seasons. Kudos to the D for playing great against Edmonton, but if we go one and done in the playoffs (if we make it), my biggest fear is management rides with the exact same coaching staff, scheme, starting QB, import WR's next season thinking we're trending upwards. We're not in the big picture.

Import o-lineman does nothing to make us better really....Neufeld has played just fine and at this point in season Harris has rushed for more yards already than he did last year, and we have given up less sacks...scored more points....if we are to reconfigure a DI spot on roster it would best be served to use it on a guy who is a return demon and is a threat to flip a field anytime he touches the ball...and hopefully play DB....Especially come fall football...a bigtime returner is vital

In a game that we dominated from start to finish, is it any wonder that they didn't get fancy on offence? Steady, one turnover, and dominated time of possession. It wasn't fancy but, geez, they didn't give the Esks any opportunities to flip the field or to score quick points. It was a great game by Nichols.

The Bombers and the Riders in the playoffs would be awesome. It could very well happen. A epic battle that will be argued for years. Good luck the rest of the way. Let the cards fall where they may

Nah highlight of the season for me is when the play offs come- the Bombers will walk into new toilet stadium and punch the riders in the mouth, take their lunch money and move on to Calgary. riders will be one and done- that's what happens with smoke and mirrors with a dash **** tonne of luck. Then i will taunt people on riders fans, drink their tears, get temporarily banned (because rf can dish it out, but can't take it- its a little thinskinned there) and not visit the site till next year (because riders will be more insignificant at that point). Nope, just fact. riders suck. For all eternity.

I was worried for sure. We have lost 5 out of the last 6 visits to Montreal. The truth is the stats were really ugly in this game. It was a lot closer than it should have been score wise. I'll take it and be happy. I'm just of sick of hearing how we got lucky or someone gave it to us. We won 6 out of our last 7. We are getting it done. Doesn't mean anything but some people need to open their eyes and just call a spade a spade. I was stunned to see the Bombers pound the Esks like that, no one saw that coming. But I am not saying you got lucky, full credit for the win

It's pretty rare to add anyone impactful mid-season. The only thing I'd trade for is maybe a defensive lineman if Jeffcoat and Corney aren't likely to return. They are really thin for Canadians on DL, but I wouldn't deal anything higher than a 4th round pick. This team is really unlikely to go on a run with the way Nichols is playing.

I have no idea why we aren't bringing in players at the WR position to challenge who we have now. It's crazy how we just stand pat doing nothing year after year.

Mike Miller. guy showed that he has good hands, some moves, some speed, and of course power Glad they rewarded him for his special teams and hope they use him more on the O. honker award.

It wouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see the Riders lose their next 4 games..Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and BC.
