  1. This idea of adding a “designated Mexican” sounds like far and away the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of this league doing in my lifetime. Ambrosie has been an awful commissioner. His ideas are ridiculous and this whole Mexico nonsense sounds like a horribly thought out way for him to expense his annual resort vacation and nothing more. Imagine trying to explain this to somebody new to the league if and when it goes through. ”Okay, so the CFL has a few different rules ... for one, since it’s the Canadian Football League, teams are required to have a set amount of Canadians on the roster ... also, every team must dress one Mexican” “Mexican? Why?” ”............”

Why is it a waste of time? You said that the Canadians and o-line are the core and character of this team. This is true. But the character and identity of this team is shaped and moulded by the HC, you take him out and instill another HC... it will change. If you take MOS out of the equation... the character and core of this team changes. No one is "So upset" just a tad frustrated because of your usual shtick is all.

  7. I believe it is because it was the Jets who originally put him on Waivers. If another team were to have claimed him, they'd have to keep him on their roster for 30 days. But because the Jets originally placed Dano on waivers and Colorado claimed him from them, then Colorado put him on waivers in the same season, the Jets can claim him and put him directly down to the AHL since they originally owned his rights.

That's not how it works. He can't force a player to re-sign with the team. Bighill made it crystal clear he'll put his family first when it comes his future, anyway. That's out of a GM's hands.

  10. So, to review: Masoli is chosen over Bo Levi Mitchell, who I'm guessing is going to win MOP tonight over Masoli. (I'll edit after the awards given out if I'm wrong) Neither Andrew Harris (CFL rushing leader) or Brad Sinopoli (most catches by any receiver, and an all-time Canadian record, to boot) both up for outstanding Canadian player, are on this list Neither Stanley Bryant or Brandon Revenberg, both up for most outstanding o-lineman, are on the team Neither Adam Bighill or Larry Dean, both up for defensive MOP, are on the team Ty Long, his team's MOP as a kicker/punter and the west nominee for special teamer, is not on the list in either the kicking or punting spot Lewis Ward is on the list as "special teams" (usually reserved for a returner) but is beaten out by Brett Lauther for the "kicker" spot (remind me what Ward does again?) Saskatchewan and Hamilton, #4 and #5 in points given up, have 7 of the 12 defensive starters, #1 Calgary has 2, #2 Winnipeg has 1, and #3 Ottawa has zero. BC, #7 in points scored, and Toronto, #8, had 2 players each on offence, one more in total than #1 Winnipeg and #2 Calgary had 3 between them (and all 3 of their offensive players were on the o-line) Hamilton has 5 players on the team (more than any other team except Saskatchewan) and yet finished 8-10. So did the coaching hold the talent back? Nope, June Jones was named best coach (ahead of award nominees Chris Jones and Rick Campbell, along with Dave Dickenson and his league-best record). This was the #7 team in the league this year based on their record.

They actually outlawed indentured servitude several decades ago. I supposed we could call someone to pay Bighill a visit and "make him an offer he can't refuse" but I would think that his motivation to play might be impacted a little. Seriously, you need to take a step back and think a bit. Not everyone will be affected solely by the dollars on the table. If his family is happier in BC, then he might not want to play here any longer regardless how much more money we might offer.

A big difference was that everyone around Reagan sheltered him and protected the institutions. No one shelters Trump, they enable him and do nothing to protect the institutions. It's a complete reversal. -------------- We may be ignorant of some big things but he has people around him that can explain things to him. He can't even handle simple things. Normally, when idiots are elected, those around him are the ones in control. Here, we've got an idiot who's in complete control and surrounded by other idiots and enablers.

Correct me if I'm wrong , I read somewhere that Walters did indicate that he will throw at Biggie what ever it takes to resign him . But Now, it seems he wants to move back to BC ,as his family is still there. But IMO, resigning him is the top priority.

Humorous Trump doings outlined here. for instance: and "Commander in Chief Trump is surprised to learn a colonel he's talking to in Afghanistan commands 10k people. "Wow! That's a lot of people. That's fantastic. That's beautiful. And you're enjoying what you're doing, is that right?"" "Trump, like a lunatic, asks troops in Bahrain to weigh in on his trade war since "we have been taken advantage of for many years by bad deals." He's not all there. scroll down. It's really funny. https://digbysblog.blogspot.com/

When are you guys going to get over the fact that this team LOST to the BEST team in the league, hands down for the last 3 years (barring the grey cup), whose defense had the GAME OF THE DECADE as far pretty much every pundit is concerned... We kept it close. No blowing stuff up, no rebuilds. This team is learning how to win, step by step. Big things for next year, with hopefully the core intact and a few tweaks here and there. We are not Edmonton... We are not Montreal or Toronto. Hey we're not Hamilton. We were a few passes away from the Grey Cup. Foundations are solid. Fix the receivers, get a beast in the secondary, and a beast for a returner and keep the rest of the core and we are set.

I don’t know. I find that most teams go with 2 American OTs, which leaves them with 1 or 2 Canadian receivers starting. I mean no one else starts a national at RB and defensive linemen are American more often than not.

I give the stamps all the credit. They dealt with our push at the end, and they did everything they had to to win the game. It wasn't the defensive performance of the decade. We left points out there. Both Nichols and Streveler guys that would have been tds. Calgary did everything it had to in order to win. and we did not. It was a defensive battle and a great game. Calgary didn't do anything defensively we weren't capable of beating.

did Mike Oshea kick your dog or steal your wife...man you have a lot of serious unfounded hate going on for what has been a pretty good last 3 yrs worth of ball...team has progressed albeit without a cup yet...but if he was to be turfed...most is staff would be too...and most likely a lot of the character in the room with it...and you are back to square one.. This year was a pretty resounding success...survived the season with number one QB out to start the year...then a funk portion...and then a Playoff win on the road...and an almost second one for the taking ..again on the road...which history shows rarely happens...sustainable success and environment to maintain that..and re-load it is whats vital and key before all the fruits of that labour can be realized...and we are exactly at that point right now...and keeping things status quo from Miller on down right now will allow us to keep keeping on in that regard...But...and this is the key thing...if Walters can't bring in the talent at receiver this year to augment it and put us over the top...well then a switch in that position is a realistic change...and won't affect the culture or the environment thats been built

Sure it can. "MOS' successes both in season and in the playoffs out weighed his failures." And I would totally have him back on a three year contract. He will be an elite Head Coach soon, I would hate that to happen if he was the Argos HC and not ours.
