I'd be ok with letting Loffler go. I think hes overrated as a safety. His claim to fame is a couple big hits his rookie season.

In today's Freep, Doug Brown rated Matt Nichols and the bottom line is that Nichols rates somewhere between the 5th and 7th best in the league and, along with an upgrade at receiver, one of the two areas needing the most improvement for the Bombers to take the next step. I agree with this but we also need a kick returner that causes butt puckers in the opposing cover team.

If we can't sign Bighill then , Goosen, Chung, JSK have to be our top priorities. What id like to see next year is Wolitarsky moved inside and a Chris Matthews type WR on the outside. Sadly the best candidate for the outside position may be Simonise so we'd have to draft a bunch more national WRs to back them up.

OK going to get this started. I live in Calgary and have had business corporate season tickets for a number of years. Part of my marketing budget - not a Stamps Fan by any stretch of the imagination! However I do rub elbows with a number of folks that are true die hard Stamps fans (we still are friends for some reason). So chatting after the cup at lunch today and rumor (and I did see this over on the Riders site) is that their DC - Devone Claybrooks has some interest down south with one or two NFL teams. Just rumor and speculation but these guys I am talking to seem to know a few things around the internal workings with the Stamps. Maybe he is afraid of the Winnipeg Canadian Mafia?

Because he wasn't getting a lot of help from the receivers or offensive coordinator. Even a guy like Dressler was dropping passes. Not to mention the refusal for this team to stretch the field which allowed Calgary to sit everyone in the areas Nichols wanted to throw. The game plan was **** from the Bombers and made it easy on the Stamps defense. Not all on the qb. BLM had trouble with the pressure at times and he missed a bunch of throws, difference is that his OC gave him options and they kept trying to make some big plays in the passing game.

I can understand if we don't see any QB changes, other than perhaps more playing time for Streveler. However, if there are no substantive changes at receiver, it will speak volumes about this team's intentions.

The thing Trump has going for him is the complete capitulation of the GOP. Should Trump ever become so poisonous that it means the certain defeat of incumbent senators or loss of the White House to the Dems for several terms, they will wash their hands of him. The House would impeach him tomorrow. If Mueller's report is criminally damning, he's impeached. Its whether the GOP Senate can protect him without losing their own seats, thats the question. As for political consequence to Trump, does anyone care? He's old and probably not even likely to run again. The whole thing is about his brand which has been damaged. His kids have never shown any propensity for being smarter than him so they likely wont prosper. I remember reading that Ivanka had designs on becoming the first female President. The consequences might be that dear old dad is so gross, he takes down her dreams too.

that wasn't my point at all. People here are bemoaning Calgary's continued success. I am not saying wait for them to suck, but that they inevitably will suck again. But in the mean-time, that's no excuse. We can take them, we just need to get better. We gave the Eskimos some really good runs even when they were at their best. 1982 should have been our year but we faltered in the WF, and then two years later we won the Cup. If we continue to progress next year and get to the WF again, but win it all in 2020, I'm good with that.

A pardon seems to be the idea. Same with Corsi. They both have joint defense agreements with Trump. So you can assume there has been a pardon promised. But if Trump did pardon these guys, it would probably blow up in his face. How much, is anyones guess.

I slept through the big game... I was up the night before till 3 am playing Overcooked and Snipper Clips while drinking heavily LOL....

A big difference was that everyone around Reagan sheltered him and protected the institutions. No one shelters Trump, they enable him and do nothing to protect the institutions. It's a complete reversal. -------------- We may be ignorant of some big things but he has people around him that can explain things to him. He can't even handle simple things. Normally, when idiots are elected, those around him are the ones in control. Here, we've got an idiot who's in complete control and surrounded by other idiots and enablers.

The worst part is the troops are still there and will be until mid-December unless the orders are changed. Of course, Capt. Bone Spurs doesn't care about the troops being away from their families for US Thanksgiving. He'll just let them stay at the border twiddling their thumbs, sleeping in tents and eating crappy rations while adding hundreds of millions to the US debt. Just add this to the list of ways he's disrespected the military.
