  1. right, the future without drastic action will be at best, horrible. Sadly, All just to save the profits of some oil companies, mid Eastern dictators, and Putin and his gang. The oil companies will be out of business in twenty years, but the current CEOS' of them will all be wealthy due to compensation based on this quarter's profit. The wealthy will be fine, they'll be living as they do now in the third world, behind huge walls, with armed guards. Not much will change for them. The rest of humanity, more like Darfur. Think migrant problems are bad now? Drop in the bucket compared to tens of millions of desperate people that will be descending upon the wealthy nations. The "free market" (which with respect to oil, does not exist) will not get this done.

Why are you afraid of new ideas or change? Reality in Politics especially, its an old white boys club... They want to be in charge, the old white man.. The straight white male, they are afraid of changes, afraid of the new and different but why? Are they afraid some new ideas actually might work? Cuz if u are being honest with politics.. Its the same ideas over and over from the same straight white male.. Time for change. Other people have good ideas too.. The idea behind a govt is to work for the ppl . the straight white male? Works for himself. That's a problem. Change is good. The avg straight white male politician will take 1 million dollars over saving 1 million ppl 1 million dollars.. This is not what Govt is supposed to be Stop putting them in to dems or Republicans category.. I know crazy but its ok to like a republican idea but also like a dem idea too on something else. Not 1 person has all the answers.. The idea of govt is 2 work as 1 for the ppl... Be nice if they did that.. But Nope it's US vs THEM.

  3. I just think they're really missing Buff and Morrissey and still trying to figure out new line combos right now. They'll be up and down for a bit, but as long as they're healthy for playoffs, they'll be fine. Keep the faith...

  7. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple markets "fold" and a bunch of games played in San Antonio, San Diego and Orlando.

  8. Well, this was this sausage maker who, in tough times, took to filling one end of his product with pure fat. Then things got better and he could afford to make both ends meat.

  9. Myers is frustrating to watch at times. In one shift makes three great plays and two bonehead ones.

  10. Like it or not, we've got a Maurice team... if they are on their game early and get the forecheck established, this is a Stanley Cup team... if they don't get early momentum and can't mobilize their D, its a long game where you have to hope for lucky bounces in the third... Guess the planned Buff track suit celebration motivated them ha I'd love to see this in the playoffs... Morrissey-Trouba Niku-Buff Beaulieu-Myers

  11. Nice bounce back from TB, was surprised at how easily they kicked the crap out of them, maybe they didn't want to peak too soon?

  13. Hmmmm, 2 hour CJOB show means about 5 minutes per guest. Not sure it's going to be worth it. Although we will have dozens and dozens of opportunities to see if mudruckers has a new commercial for this year.

  22. Bob Swift was Canadian. A broken leg in the 64 Grey Cup probably was a blessing in disguise as once he converted at first to guard & then found a home at center he became a mainstay on the Argos & then Blue Bombers OL. Swift mentored Bonk as he was his backup at center before he retired after the 77 season. Bonk just stepped in & the change was seamless. Bonk started his career in Hamilton in 1972 & was traded for Defensive Halfback Peter Ribbins prior to the start of the 1973 season. Bonk played linebacker for the Cats & Bombers before switching to Center with the Bombers replacing Swift. Bonk is my first choice but Swift was a helluva Center & would be my #2 choice. All I can say is Don Jonas, Dieter Brock & Tom Clements never had to worry about the man snapping the ball to them.

  23. Sorry that I missed Vankoughnett. He seemed undersized to me (yet was 6'4", weighed only 240 lbs) but he had a nasty streak (not dirty, but you didn't mess with him). As for Mo, all I can remember of his days at centre was that he butchered the shotgun snap so badly for the first 6 games or so when he was pressed into action at that position that the QBs had to move back under centre because he kept rifling them over their heads. Needless to say he did not long snap.

  27. Simonese I think could grab that outside spot..regardless of ratio...He has the skill set for it and the body type to succeed there...now after a full season on the roster last year, an off-season to digest things after basically being out of the game for the better part of 2 years he should be able to come into camp at 100 percent and just play his game. you seen last year he has the skill as he roasted 2 of the top DB's in the league and he earned his chops on the special teams too..and if it came down to a decision between him and Peterman to be on the roster, or grab a starting spot then the wise bet is on Simonese as he has way more upside and potential, not to mention being in a spot to be more impactful..looking forward to TC to see how much he has progressed

  29. My opinion on CFL 2.0. We are all here, I would assume because we think that the CFL is the most exciting brand of football right? Why would we not want for people in Mexico, Austria, German, France, Finland, ect, to think CFL when they think football. Share what we love with millions more people seems like a no brainer.
