You're better than that. Thats a deeply troll-worthy remark. Also, whataboutism rears its ugly head again. The real question should be, how did Avenatti work out for you guys? Oh yeah, got the whole finance violation scheme revealed leading to Cohen flipping, implicating Trump in a felony etc. Worked out pretty good.3 points -

Agreed that 60 minutes was definitely not anywhere near long enough to come close cover everything. His story is still being written though so maybe one day they'll be able to do a part two. Loved the AJ footage, especially his dig at the WWE! My wife's favorite part was getting some screen time at end when they were showing stuff from Kenny's birthday! 😂3 points -

From my perspective being involved, I knew the focus was the Golden Lovers but not entirely sure how they'd fit everything in. And the answer is, they really couldnt. It really begs for a 90 minute or 120 minute version. They filmed a lot on Kenny's early days in Winnipeg, his going to WWE, his returning from WWE (there was a whole potential story thread about that). And they really loved the footage they got from Kenny's return to Winnipeg last October but barely could squeeze it in (might be something in the works on this). There were many people who provided interviews who were left on the cutting room floor unfortunately. Although they asked many of us similar questions so it of course, they used the best ones. Mike Angels and Jason Geiger in particular were very, very good interviews. And now I can reveal a stupid mistake on my part...the day of my interview, I think I was scheduled for...5PM, something like that. I was really excited and then, for some reason, had an allergy attack. Felt aweful. Stuffed up, watery eyes, everything. So I fumble around the medicine cabinet and take a couple pills. A few minutes later my gf says "you didnt take these, did you?" Yes, I said, why? "They're nighttime pills!" Oh no...I drank a ton of coffee and when I arrived, I got pushed back til...maybe 9pm. I was super wired but also tired. lol And also message to all aspiring Doc makers, sitting on a milk crate looks cool. It does not feel cool. Give me a comfy chair! lol Jokes aside, it was a great experience and I am humbled to have played a small part. I received a message from one of the producers, the guy who really pushed the project from the beginning, telling me that without me there was no project due to the footage, contacts, explanations etc. Very nice to say, totally humbled at that (it's not true but its nice to hear). Im so proud of Kenny. And when I think about the last 17 years and SO much crap in local wrestling (even today), this made it worth it. Seeing so many great guys I worked with locally (Kenny, Angels, Geiger, Tatum, Skillz, Nate, London's and whomever else sneaked in that I missed) on a TSN Documentary...its really an amazing thing. And they all deserve the recognition for their hard work. Kenny might have been the one guy in PCW to really make it, but you can't have a promotion with one guy. It takes a lot of guys to create an environment where talent like Kenny can develop and grow. All the boys deserve the credit. To the boys!3 points -

I used to think there wasn't a lot of difference between R and D in the US. I was wrong. The Republicans, at this point, are vermin. Here's hoping they get completely, permanently wiped off the electoral map, and slink off to their lobbying payoffs for good. Good to finally see some anger and backbone from a Democrat. Maybe the courageous and honourable Ocasio Cortez is inspiring them to finally stand up for their country. No question, that's what this is about. I can't believe there are people posting here that see some good in Trump. What the ****.2 points -

An AG that has said that a President can not be indited and is basically above the law and what do you get, a 4 page summary on a supposed 300 page report where the AG makes a pronouncement that he really didn't need to make but had to make for the man who hired him to do just that.2 points -

Surprise, surprise.....well not really. Anyone thinking Trump would face major repercussions from the Mueller report hasn't been paying enough attention to past U.S. history, anything and everything will be minimized to the point of appeasement in order to save face. I have no doubt Mueller produced a truthful document but there was no way in hell they were ever going to expose the raw truth contained to the outside world without first running it through a strong filter. The rot of corruption is throughout their government institution, as with the Brett Kavanaugh hearing, upon close inspection even their examination process is ruled by blatant partisanship and infected with rot. Democrats or Republicans doesn't matter, it's the system of checks and balances that is broken and in need of repair.2 points -

I gotta go with Bishop. He's had a very good season and losing him to that injury - again - could be disastrous for the Stars. Losing a starting goalie is never easy for a team. Khudobin should be able to shoulder the load for the remainder of the season but the playoffs are a different animal. If the Jets do face the Stars in the opening round, not facing Bishop plays in their favour.2 points -

Dallas plays a slower trap style that has given the Jets problems this year. We saw it again last night against the Flames, and the commentators were saying that the Stars were a bad match-up to face for Calgary because of how they clog the ice and slow the game. Colorado is more run and gun with Winnipeg, which I think the Jets would be happy to play. One big X factor is Ben Bishop, who is on track for a Veniza season, but who hurt himself again last night with what looks like a recurring groin injury. Losing him could be fatal for Dallas. Having said that, Landeskog is stil out for the Avs and they hope he is back for mid-April. Which loss hurts their team more?2 points -

Yeah, totally interesting... A study from September 2016. But of course the infallible No Tricks Zone posts it today, and being ever obedient to that garbage website, you decide to follow suit on here. Why not just be honest with yourself and post the original link? (http://notrickszone.com/2019/03/28/scientists-the-co2-greenhouse-effect-was-cancelled-out-by-clouds-during-1992-2014/) https://www.nature.com/articles/nature22315 There was no hiatus; temperatures actually continued to increase, but at a slower rate than anticipated. Using the word hiatus in a title is misleading and insincere. The science isn't settled. Unless one thinks controversy equates to something being settled, in which case I'd have to seriously question that person's understanding of basic concepts, much less scientific ones. Nice try, comrade.1 point -

Wanna bet? I think we see a rematch of last years Rd2. This time, I think the Jets take it in 6 games because the Preds will be even more worn down than they were against the Avs. That's my prediction, anyhow. Luckily, there'a an edit button, so I can erase it in the future.1 point -

Well to a large degree it IS bush league but thats the point. Its the bush leagues (I say that in a kind way) that do it because of the eyeballs it brings. Its good business. AEW doesnt want to look like TNA or ROH or even New Japan (in the US, they'd love to be compared to New Japan's market share in Japan). Business-wise, all those promotions that go and do it, its great for them. For fans, its also great because it turns into a massive wrestling-themed vacation. And those promotions, many of them, are going to put on showcase-level events that weekend because of how many new fans are in town and willing to watch them. I see why WWE wants to block it, I just think it looks bad because while its meant to hurt the smaller groups, it also hurts the fans. I dont think many fans who are there end up blowing off WWE events to go see the indie shows. But I have seen many people who consider all those shows as additional reason to go to WM.1 point -

1) you have zero clue whats in the report 2) There was never going to be an indictment of Trump So basically, you're argument is "You CAN'T Indict Trump" and "Well didnt he indict Trump then?" In a report that is being hidden and filtered, Trump's OWN AG admitted the President is not exonerated in an investigation of obstruction...thats...that's incredible, really. That is the big red flashing headline that many are missing. But again, Trump could ADMIT he did it (which he kind of did) and you wouldn't turn...so it doesnt matter.1 point -

You could pay $250 CDN for a round trip chartered coach from Kitchener to Buffalo, including all you can eat at the game, all you can drink (yes drink), full access to special tailgates and decent seats. This was for the Pats vs Bills MNF game. You could get other games a bit cheaper, but same deal. The bus usually goes full every time (plus multiple buses going) and people will pay it because it's convenient (and the whole experience) Rogers screwed up big time trying to charge big ticket prices for crappy value.1 point

The appetite is probably there, but these leagues I think get too big for the britches and aim too high too soon. They figure they can start big, but they really need to start small and actually grown a fanbase before they try and get a deal with the NFL.1 point
