He's already announced that he was negotiating with them but they hadn't reached a deal (as of a week or two ago anyway). I'm not sure it gets announced tomorrow (I could see them waiting until they have a TV deal to announce or using BTE to break the news) but I fully expect him to be working there.

Never thought I'd see a post on a wrestling thread re-posted in a US Politics thread. Can't even say "but these are the times we live in" since Jesse Ventura was governor of Minnesota for a time a while ago.

I was at a Mongolian grill restaurant in Seattle last Saturday. There was a "Reveal Party" going on. So many people came there was a huge long lineup at the buffet table. Maybe a hundred guests. Millennials... like I care the sex of your unborn kid? It's also bizarre to me. Why the need for a reveal??? That generation needs to get over itself.

  20. Owners will never go for it, but the league could really use to cut back to like 65-70 games. Would make a huge difference in the overall quality of the game, especially late in the season...

  21. TSN had Mackenzie on this morning, he made sense, he said that a number of teams are having the same kind of season, up and down, as the Jets. He mentioned some teams, forget the names. Season is too long. back to back games, four games in six nights, the travel, has to be part of it.

  22. that was my first thought, and it's a huge step back. I can't imagine the money is even comparable. My only thought is that people are terrified of working for Bell/Corus/Stingray right now because there is ZERO job security. With Harvard Regina, you pretty much have a job for life with "decent" pay....

  23. If true thats definitely a point in favour of Mueller not being biased because the visual (or just report) of a Pres pleading the 5th would have been horrible for Trump. There is speculation that the report DOES contain evidence of obstruction (and collusion but by the definition of the conspiracy, not enough to charge). Mueller's intent, some believe, was to create a report that Congress would be able to get and let them impeach (or decide). I guess there's no way of knowing...well, unless they just release the damn report.

  25. Today the White House is not invoking privilege, just before the release you will hear the White House claims executive privilege, so the Trump can maximize his message and all the rallies he will be doing in April. Barr may regret hitching his wagon to Trump

  26. Doesn't that seem like a step back in a career from being on national TV on TSN?

  27. What a terrible look for Trump. If the only concern is grand jury info, it can be unsealed. They're hiding. I mean, if the report was an exoneration, they'd be giving 5 copies to every man, woman and child.

I never raised our two sons that way. I just hope they don't act foolish if & when their time comes. I also see that some children now are rejecting their parents claims that vaccinations will give them autism. They are questioning how their parents could put them in danger of getting sick & spreading viruses to immune supressed people & infants with absolutely no scientific & medical claims to back up their parents warped beliefs.

  39. Maurice has got to start taking some heat, for this team under performing. Soft D zone play, passive PK that is 23rd in the league and inserting Hendricks into the lineup.... To play 5 minutes last night. WTF? Does anyone in the media ever ask about this stuff? Hopefully we can flip the playoff switch, because right now, it's not looking good. It was great to see Lowry's line show some offensive life, but did they end up being on the ice for a couple goals against? Maybe Maurice went to that well a bit too often? I was off campus last night, so it was hard to have my usual focus. It will be good to get Buff back on Saturday and hopefully bang the rust off him quickly.

  41. Maybe. I'd put Morrow in over Niku, who still looks wet behind the ears far too often. I can't see that boding well come playoff time. He panics way too much for my liking. Myers was atrocious last night - maybe his worst game of the season. The top 6 was awful. Sure, missing Byfuglien and Morrissey affects the team but there's no reason why their collective defensive play is so abhorrent for such lengthy stretches. When that offensive firepower can't show up, you need to be sound in your own end. Lazy back-checking, poor positioning, minimal effort... Not a good recipe. If this is how the Jets want to play, they'll be dispatched in round 1 regardless of who they face. This style of hockey is not conducive to success when the playoffs begin.

  44. Yeah, totally interesting... A study from September 2016. But of course the infallible No Tricks Zone posts it today, and being ever obedient to that garbage website, you decide to follow suit on here. Why not just be honest with yourself and post the original link? (http://notrickszone.com/2019/03/28/scientists-the-co2-greenhouse-effect-was-cancelled-out-by-clouds-during-1992-2014/) https://www.nature.com/articles/nature22315 There was no hiatus; temperatures actually continued to increase, but at a slower rate than anticipated. Using the word hiatus in a title is misleading and insincere. The science isn't settled. Unless one thinks controversy equates to something being settled, in which case I'd have to seriously question that person's understanding of basic concepts, much less scientific ones. Nice try, comrade.
