He’s ‘super rich’, but we cannot see his tax returns. He’s a ‘high IQ genius’, but we cannot see his school grades. The Mueller Report ‘totally exonerates’ him, but we cannot read it. For the ‘most transparent POTUS ever’, Trump sure is hiding a lot from the American people. — Mike P Williams (@Mike_P_Williams) April 4, 2019

  3. If they come out flat, we are done - you can’t have a 25 min team meeting and then a team building day and then not have any fire

  4. Why? The entire lineup would benefit from the 6 minutes they usually got? I liked that line too, but Perreault, Copp, Roslovic, have been very good.

  5. tonight needs to be a statement game for the Jets. Game 81, you can't be having these huge internal issues. Go out there and lay a beating down....

  8. This CFL 2.0 vision is so stupid. So rushed. Mexican draft, now a European draft? And why? None of these guys can play. How can we get fans to care when the league executives don’t even care? Sutherland called it out for what it was.

  9. The entire issue with concussion data is the REPORTING of concussions. How accurate are your stats when you have no indication as to the number of UNREPORTED concussions in any and all sports.

  10. Yup didnt absolve players responsibility as I mentioned but I'm guessing it's not the only thing that ails this team of late. Winning or losing in stretches of time usually, not always, has to do with a variety of things going on that need to be addressed.

  11. There are many issues here. One - some programs take concussions very seriously and record everything. That's not true with football and hockey (in Manitoba). It's ongoing problem and parents are part of it. Second - we don't measure micro-concussions but the science is evolving. Helmet technology in football is recording the impacts that linemen take on each play. It's not enough force to cause visible concussion symptoms but researchers are connecting these micro-concussions to long-term health issues. Unfortunately, you can't study someones brain until their dead and, unfortunately, they're getting lots of samples. Third - We only record when we see something and pull them off the field or ice. They can't even get this right at the professional level, so what makes you think they're getting this right at amateur level. ** Studied concussions as part of health policy and have met with doctors, sports orgs, and manufacturers of impact measurement devices. Also read emerging health research on the issue.

  17. Exactly the point. Not expecting contact so when someone inevitably bumps into another player no one is ready and the head snaps around and bam concussion.

  21. I agree, however I would think an element to the Jets woes of late is other teams have found a useful blueprint in how to play us. Therefore, added to the players/coaches responsibility of team unity/cohesion is the coaches ability to come up with a blueprint of their own to stay ahead of the oppositions approach.

  22. "that's why girls don't play the game coach" I suspect it's a case of people not being prepared for contact that happens.

Jesus Christ did you at least get paid for this political advertisement? The polls are showing the UCP support dropping, people DO care. These leadership shenanigans aren't nothing, they are indicative of how Kenney operates. Break the law to get what he wants. Let me ask you this, how does slashing corporate tax rates help? Alberta is already the lowest taxed province, all he is going to do is make the rich richer and take away the provinces revenue streams. How does fighting with the federal government and BC governement (which Notley is already doing, Kenney will just turn it up to 11, help build a pipeline? People like you hate to hear it, but in these big national projects you need to work together with people. Also that 52% number, I don't buy it, most polls are showing the UCP dropping support to about 45% while the NDP getting close to 40%, within the margin of error. Now election night might come and we could end up with a UCP government, but it will be closer than you think it will be. People don't like Jason Kenney and they don't like the corruption and social regressiveness of the party.

  25. Marshall Ferguson's Mock 2.0: A new No. 1 pick? 4. WINNIPEG (VIA BC) MATHIEU BETTS DL | LAVAL Some at the CFL Combine were less than thrilled that Mathieu Betts pulled the plug on his appearance at the last second. That can sometimes hurt the draft stock but I don’t think it will with Betts. His raw size and motor are undeniable and could easily lead to him being taken over Smith but I sent Betts the Bombers way for the simple fact he could learn a lot from the leadership of linebacker Adam Bighill and refine his pass rushing working behind Willie Jefferson. The Bombers lost defensive lineman Trent Corney in the off-season after the 25-year-old decided to retire following missing all but three games last season with an injury. Betts would be a natural plug and play replacement for the energy Corney brought off the edge. 5. WINNIPEG HERGY MAYALA REC | UCONN Despite all the – deserving – noise surrounding the talented crop of U SPORTS receivers this year there is no doubt in my mind after watching him play that UCONN’s Hergy Mayala is the most refined and ready to play CFL Draft eligible receiver in 2019. Mayala has a unique combination of smooth suddenness to his game that few others can offer and would work nicely in with Rashaun Simonise and Drew Wolitarsky for the Bombers.

  28. The Jets would clinch the title tonight if they win and Nashville loses in regulation and St. Louis loses in any fashion. They would clinch no worse than second place, which means home-ice advantage in the first round at least — if they win and one of Nashville or St. Louis loses — either the Predators in regulation or the Blues in any fashion. Blues lost in OT last night.

    Wrestling

Drake is getting a lot of heat over this. I think its more of an ego thing. The whole men vs women is pretty silly in wrestling. For most women wrestlers, they have worked with men a lot. Their trainers are almost always men (remember it was a big deal when WWE hired Sara Del Rey to work at the performance centre, later also adding Winnipeg's Sarah Stock). They always work men when their first starting out because most indy promotions dont have a lot of women wrestlers. So Drake's point that its not realistic, well, wrestling isnt really that realistic in the first place. Watch a UFC fight and then watch a WWE match. I sort of think you want to avoid women vs men when you get to a certain level because you should be pushing women rather then making the point that they arent as good by having them work men. But as part of a story, sure, why not? Who cares, really. And not working Tessa?? Like geeeze, she's great. Super fit and strong. Drake was wrong.

Can you still call yourself a feminist if you fire a female subordinate for standing up to you and the group of other men you surrounded yourself with who told you to shut up and toe the line? Need a ruling here.

Speaks volumes that you think 23 credible accusations of sexual assault & harassment is democratic mud slinging while also forgetting the dems quickly dumped a senator for one thing. So one thing, and you should be toast if your a dem. Why’s the GOP allowance for inappropriate behaviour? 50? God. The more the alt right talk the more gross it gets.
