Standouts at receiver today for me were Rasheed Bailey and Corey Washington. Fast, sharp route-runners with excellent hands who get the waggle. Wolitarski caught everything I saw thrown his way - and so did Petermann. Simonise is smooth and very, very quick, he looks like his head is in it. He dropped one short out pattern that was right in his mitts but then Darvin Adams dropped x3. Darvin then redeemed himself with a contested TD catch that he snatched away violently (I did not catch the number of the defender who got hornswoggled on that one). Marcus Sayles can really motor and, as others said, Winston Rose and Derek Jones close unbelievably fast on the ball. Gaitor and Fenner both looked good. Sayles might have got a bit of an ouch but it doesn't look like anything an ice bath won't fix. Agree with what others said about Oliveira and Augustine. Both hit the hole really fast, straight downhill. Oliviera got around the end on one play though, running free and clear, on a sweep of all things - you can do that if you're an Oak Park Raider but it doesn't happen often at this level because the defenders are so quick. I heard some grumbling about Nichols from fans behind me in the stands after he missed a couple of 15 yd outs - but he does look to be in the best physical shape I've seen him in since he arrived in Winnipeg. He was rolling out and running a bit more than I've seen in the past. Could that be a new wrinkle in the playbook to accommodate .... Streveler, who missed one or two tosses as well - overthrows where, who knows, it could have been the receiver who messed up. Both QB1 and QB2 were sharp with the short pass, and like others have said the playbook looks to be almost fully installed. The new QB #12 Sean McGuire looks still to be adjusting to the passing lanes on the wider field. He hit the shorter passes but the long balls were way off the mark. It's still early but he doesn't look to be ready to unseat Bennett at the #3 QB at this stage. Lucky Whitehead can catch the football - he made a couple of nice catches in the receiver spot - but what caught my eye was on the returns - he is lightning quick - wow. Honest to God there were a whole lot of bodies out there in uniform. I think we are going to win the Grey Cup.10 points -

Today been really impressed by Oliviera..people who think that was a dumb pick at number 3 are way off base. And if Eli keeps getting better and rosters this year he us a first round talent taken in the 5th..6 points -

From what i seen so far.. Lucky and Nelson seem pretty even..Lucky though looks to be more agile and a bit quicker but from what they have done so far today tough to gauge..more in it later Was gonna comment on Santuago..dude is shifty and fast in getting to..and outta the line..made a series of about 3 jukes and jumpsteps causing Choudja to roll his ankle...PR at very least for him I bet..he looks good Warren is intruiging..solid and beefy..looked good in agility drills but Wilson looks like he has advanced too..I actually like him better than what JSK looked at camp last yr to be honest Washington looks solid..we know he can play outside and has looked good in the slot and using waggle..also I havnt seen him drop anything..like I mentioned too I can see that Walker being a dark horse..something about him.. McAllister was I guy I was hyped for..so been watching him..totally reminds me of when Jefferson first came in league..he very quick off line and what I notixed/liked is that on some plays he was actually not crashing down on pocket trying to impress with getting in back field and actually playing contain and aware of things.. which impresses coaches more..I hope we PR him..he oozes potential That Richsrdson is a real thick dude..havnt seen much on dline play to gauge but he seems interesting..and btw Bryant is just a monster..and fast too6 points -
It is a very superficial analysis The fact he pretends to know how well Couture played in his limited opportunity is drivel.6 points

you're right, but I will always treasure the Harris run in the 4Q where Paddy Neufeld came out his stance like a rocket and was eight yards downfield before Harris even crossed the line of scrimmage ... he snowplowed Cameron Judge to the sideline, pancaked him out of bounds for good measure, and then celebrated with some salty words. definitely in the top 10 reel for 2018.6 points -

I was at practice and was blown away but lucky whiteheads quickness. It will be a wicked battle for the returner spot. Maxx Forde came over and chatted with us and couldn’t stop raving about the city and the organization. There will be some really really tough cuts with this team. One of the vets even joked with us that teams like sask and bc will be patiently waiting to pick through our cuts and sign them.5 points -

Dale Warren had a nice pick in 1v1s against Augustine. Was stride for stride with him and grabbed the underthrown pass. Lots of gadget plays today. Matt Hazel looked lazy while I was there. Only approx 30 minutes of practice that I saw, so may have just been a bad moment for him, but he gave up on one deep pass, dropped another, then got yelled at by Lapo for running a bad route. Nelson broke Boutte's (?) ankles after a quick pass. Simonise had a nice deep td catch.4 points -

Got some nice receiver talent here..Matthew's is just plain good and his presence has obviously rubbed off on some of our other vets..as I can see it in their work out here. I think Simonese is primed to take next step..seems more quick and agile than last year and more sure of himself.. great set of hands and faster then what I recall.. Peterman to me is meh..doesnt seem to be as engaged and is a notorious body catcher..even on easy balls and not a good trait as we seen in drops last yr. Simonese is head and shoulders above him at this point I think and anyway u slice it our national receivers in good hands. Washington is looking smooth and comfortable.. seems like he works well running routes out of slot and cant see him not sticking around in some capacity..also impressing me so far is Kenny Walker ..shifty fast..catches anything and if you didn't know better would think it was a young Clatence Denmark running out there..4 points

I agree with most of if, but Collaros is the worst QB in the west.4 points

Aside from Goossen, Taylor Loffler was the biggest loss Winnipeg underwent in the off-season. LOL. can't take it seriously when Loffler is a bigger loss than Chung.4 points

How sad is it that even with bad teams the Eastern Division teams can't fill 23-25,000 stadiums. Just tells you the support the Bombers get from this City. There's a real bond between the team & it's fans. Back in 2013 & 2014 when things were at it's worse & things looked totally bleak. When Marcel Desjardins laughed at us. When legit coaches & free agents refused to come here. Never once did I fear the team would fold or that attendance would crater. Can't say that about any team down east.3 points -

No one talks much about B. Bryant.....but he was money, down the stretch, last year3 points -
I just saying what I see...theres piles of guys who dont even deserve a pre season game too..but that's what camp is Relaying info on who looks the best at certain positions doesnt mean a sunshine boy...just critiquing our camp talent at this time and who may stick That being said..guys like Jejjerson..Jeffcoat..BIggie.Alexander..the 2 Bryant's.. yoshi..Harris..Adam's.. Matthew's.. Woli..DEmski..Medlock can be considered as top players at their positions..or top 3 in the league..so ya a lot of sunshine there to be honest.3 points

1st bit of tempers flaring. Yoshi had someone (Wilson I believe) pinned down behind the play. Lachance came in and shoved Yoshi off which brought in other players for more pushing and shoving to wrap up practice.3 points

Rose with text book coverage on Matthew's on a deep shot down rail..and Matthew's just steals it from him..he's gonna be huge for us...and Rose will erase memories of Randle..he is realllly good..has impressed me all day long Bailey too..he can make cuts and moves in full stride without gearing down like Denny did..that endzone corner route/fade could be his bread and butter3 points

Compound that for the first 3 days of the last 8-10 years. I love a bunch of the guys who cover the bombers, but when it comes to camp they are long in the tooth. They made light of it a few years back then were supposed to crack down and be less of a boys club talking to each other and do more reporting, but it never happened. They start camp slow every year with the reports.3 points

I did give a read and he certainly goes to on to point out the flaws in the Bomber roster. He throws a damp towel over the Bomber enthusiasm. In my opinion, where he doesn’t merit too much attention is he does not balance the losses with the gains. This Bomber team, especially with the key additions, is strong with several 2nd year (and more) who have been on this team and who know the system. They’re good players. So, it’s his opinion..and he’s welcome to it, and that’s where it ends.3 points
