With Collaros as your QB, you need an OL that are good at tackling.

Seeing as bc dumped shaq Johnson.. a national receiver I'd be all over that

I'm super glad Kenny Walker stuck around, that guy caught everything going his way. Might be a sleeper guy who will shine when he gets his chance.

  6. Who knows how some of these guys are in the locker and or responding to the coaches. I'll give the coaches the benefit. Peterman seems to be the real deal. I hope he gets a bunch of targets this season.

  7. Dondre Wright should be a no-brainer signing for the Bombers if he's interested, given the situation with NI's in the secondary.

  10. People from Sask always insist on staying at Polo and I don't get why lol Yeah there's good shopping there, but it's not like it's close to cool restaurants or sight seeing. Like why not stay near the forks for a similar price?

  11. What a great kid. Cousin Zach will be fondly remembered as the greatest Bomber in history. The Ring of Honour awaits.

  12. BMW is using carbon fiber to make their I-3 electric vehicle and has set up the world's largest carbon fiber research facility and factory in Moses Lake, Wash, http://www.recycling-carbon.org/en/2018/05/15/bmw-i3-trial/ Comparing the disposal of windmill blades to the orphan well problem is a red-herring IMO. One is a temporary problem looking for a technical solution, the other is a permanent scar upon the land being wilfully committed by an unethical industry that has no intention of ever solving the problem.

Biggest concern for me is Hecht projected to start at S over jones. Dont like that we kept choudja on the PR. Im glad we kept and seem like we will start richardson. id rather have bryant then nevis but continuity and experience count for some thing. Nevis will do what he does and mash the middle of the line like few other. Him and richardson are really gonna open gaps for the rushers. Simonise showed flashes, but also dropped a lot of balls. He blinked and Petermann didnt. Petermann has done every thing you could ask, and made plays every time the ball has gone his way. I suspect nelson will go to the IR. Foketi moved to the retired list isnt a huge surprise.

Richardson not only beat out Bryant, I think he eliminated the chance of us starting a national on the D line. Also means we are definitely Canadian on the interior of our o line

  20. Coombs - Simonise tradeoff is not bad after all (I think). Experience vs potentail I suppose. And with the depth we have in NAT Rec and RB, Coombs may not need to play every snap so that might help him to be healthy for the whole season.

  25. “Several reports have surfaced suggesting that players weren’t happy with the way they were being treated by Sherman. According to the information I’ve obtained since the announcement was made by the team, those stories are accurate.” Some key leaders on the team weren’t happy about the way Sherman was running things from the sideline. From practices to overall attitude, the players felt like their head coach wasn’t looking out for them. Once a few important pieces of the roster get together on behalf of the team and start demanding change at such an important position, it’s hard to ignore. The team and the league had no choice but to go down this road. https://3downnation.com/2019/06/09/why-mike-sherman-is-no-longer-coaching-alouettes/

Would have liked to keep McAllister as others have stated. Surprised we don't have another Canadian WR on the PR for depth/emergencies Somewhat surprised about Bryant but Richardson played well Curious that Nick Temple is on the AR right now

  29. Nevis and Richardson will plug the middle and push the pocket making the qb scrambled in the loving arms of our defensive ends.

I know it would have been a long shot but I was hoping Santiago would have made the roster or PR. But we just don’t need a import RB.

Bennett has been learning the CFL for a few years now... McGuire is a raw rookie. They looked very similar. The kid who just got off the plane and stepped foot in Canada the 1st time looked as good as the guy around for a few seasons. Cap? Nope. Ability.

  38. I'm a non-Bomber fan? Uh, no. I have been posting here since the beginning and on the old forum as well. I think it is fair game to criticize the promoter of this event for what little thought he put into the pricing of this event. Yesterday, Friesen provided an update saying around 5,000 seats were sold (or at least grayed out on ticketmaster...apparently the club seats on the east side of the building were set aside so not sure if those were all sold) Now I would say maybe around 7,000 seats are sold, not suprisingly almost all in the 3 cheapest sections. The promoter and his company are from Saskatoon so on a positive note if this thing goes south, we can blame Saskatchewan!

  39. Honestly. I’ve ventured onto their site from time to time and it’s like clockwork. Angry when they’re losing and then memory like gold fishes, they’re planning the parade again the next day.
