they need to put Dunnigan and Walby together as a play by play tandem..that would be just golden and the things that they would say would be priceless....for sure would boost TV ratings4 points

Alls I know is I get nervous when the all comes to him in a way that doesn't happen with the other receivers. Guy has a lot of skill, but had some adventures with catching and holding onto the ball.3 points

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
The Classic and 2 others reacted to Colin Unger for a topic
Clearly there were some teams who were not all that interested in him who fed some BS to 3downnation hoping that whoever ended up with him would over pay. If he was a top 15 calibre player in this past year's draft I think we would have seen a team propose a 2nd round pick for him. At least 5 CFL teams didn't think he was worthy of a 3rd round pick.3 points -

I still don't understand why there is a separate article for his picks when he is included with the other writers when they make their picks. Did someone demand an explanation for picking the Riders to win every week? Also yeah, if you're 33% sure something is going to happen, doesn't that mean you don't think it will happen?3 points -

Wouldn't that leave 66% for the bombers3 points -
and probably a major factor in why we didn't invest money in him..as we would have been well aware of his injury/rehab/issues Wilson I think will be the better all around player anyway Also if this line plays well again tonight...then it's obvious they are going to be okay, so leave Neuf on the 6 game for the whole duration and save some cash and see what's up with Ackie..offer him some solid coin and that depth for us would do wonders3 points

Great looking depth chart. The only thing that would make it better to me is seeing Petermann replace Demski AKA - Dropski AKA - Tiptheballtoadefenderforaninterceptionski as the starter. It may not be the popular opinion but it certainly is mine. Demski can be effective don't get me wrong but he makes me nervous every time the ball goes his way.3 points

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on what they are classified as on the depth chart..Lapo moves guys all over, and part of the key to our schemes is all the guys are to know, and have plays made from multiple positions...3 points

Good looking depth chart..Whitehead is the obvious choice right now over Lawler with Matthews back..but we need to involve him and utilze what he can do, or else whats the point of him being in the lineup. I like the addition of Rios...he looked good and has size and also has been worked at Sam and all the backfield spots, so with him, Fenner, Gaitor and Alexander we have a lot of back field flexibility3 points

Esks vs Bombers Depth Charts
Mr Dee and one other reacted to TrueBlue4ever for a topic
According to the Bombers stats last year (source: cflstats.ca) Demski had 3 fumbles, most on the team. Between his rushing, receiving, and returning, he had 117 touches. In comparison, Andrew Harris had 2 fumbles on 296 touches, Matt Nichols had 2 fumbles on probably some 625 touches (393 pass attempts, 15 rushes, and handoffs on probablythree quarters of Winnipeg's 300 rush attempts that involved a running back), Ryan Lankford had 1 fumble on 18 touches, Kienan LaFrance had 2 fumbles on 42 touches, and Kevin Fogg had 2 fumbles on 94 touches (but he did have 4 INTs and 4 fumble recoveries along with 3 forced fumbles, so I think he more than made up for it). From what I can tell, the players with the most touches without a fumble were Chris Streveler (on about 270 touches - 125 pass attempts, 67 rushes, and maybe an estimated 75 or so handoffs), Darvin Adams (63 touches), and Weston Dressler (55 touches, NOT counting all his field goal holds).2 points -

Hes a high risk high reward type of player. He is either having a huge game between runs + catch and runs or hes dropping passes. He is a tremendous player who I think will have a break out year this year. A lot of dynamic young players go though the growing pains he is. Not knowing when to go down and when to fight for yards, ball protection, looking down field rather then securing the ball. I love the fit in our offense and the talent he has. I wonder though if we might be better served in some situations (especially with a lead wr like mathews out previously) by starting petermann who is steady and consistent and subbing in demski for package work. Allowing him to be fresher and more focused on key plays. Both guys are starter quality imo, and have sky high potential. Demski will bounce back I have no doubt.2 points

(Part of the How to Talk to a Global Warming Skeptic guide) Objection: It was warmer during the Holocene Climatic Optimum than it is today — without any human influence. Answer: Though some temperatures during that period were in the same range as today, they were confined to the northern hemisphere and the summer months. What’s more, the cause is understood (orbital forcing similar to what controlled the Ice Ages), just as today’s cause is understood (CO2 emissions), and these causes are very different. NOAA has a page on this that contains the following quote: In summary, the mid-Holocene, roughly 6,000 years ago, was generally warmer than today, but only in summer and only in the northern hemisphere. More over, we clearly know the cause of this natural warming, and know without doubt that this proven “astronomical” climate forcing mechanism cannot be responsible for the warming over the last 100 years. As an aside, it’s worth noting that even if the Holocene had been as warm as or warmer than today, it would do nothing to undermine the theories and data that indicate today’s warming is rapid and anthropogenic.2 points -

I take it as he thinks the Shmoes have a 33% better chance in winning the ball game or why would he pick them to win? I would like to tell him that he is sorely mistaken and the pounding Dumbo and his team are going to take tomorrow will drop them down two spots in the power rankings. It will make me proud to watch Hardrick and Gray kick the shlt out of their so dominant (according to the media) D Line and show them who they really are. A bunch of Dumbo lead Shmoes. There, I feel better for now lol!2 points

I would rather have Lawler and Whitehead on the line-up. But to think we are talking about options for a 5th receiver and a DI is a heck of difference from last year. Should they 6-gamer Neufeld to get some SMS savings there. Looks like he will not be in any time soon. And our young OL, seems to be fine.2 points -
Lawler though skill set and body type wise would be redundant as well with Adams..Woli and Matthews..so I guess it's a pick your poison type of situation...I wouldn't want to have Demski relied on for returns if our dedicated returner went down...risk of injury and ball security if you ask me Whitehead also offers that super unknown right now and a huge threat to defenses...so we need to try and groom that.2 points
-
I like Lawler too and I hope he gets another opportunity. But Whitehead just being on the field is going to make the defense move. Probably a better complement to the rest of our starting receivers, none of which are burners (still fairly fast though).2 points
