Nichols looked like he didn't have a chance out there tonight. He looked panicked on almost every throw and threw it away even more than usual. This looked like early 2016 Willy before he lost the job to Nichols. Constant checkdowns and throwaways. Harris put the team on his back and Nichols couldn't make a play against the worst secondary in the league.

I doubt Lapo is calling those check-downs. That's Nichols unable to get through his reads and then ditching on the play.

Challenging the spot of the ball almost never works but I have never seen a ball spotted so unfairly before. The ref took the ball and placed it two feet ahead of where the pile ended up. On a fumbled snap no less. It was clearly a terrible spot.

I don't know how anyone can defend Nichols at this point. He will always be our limiting player.

It shouldn't have come down to it and it's definitely not the reason the Bombers lost but that was a horrible spot and it still looked like the ball was short on the measurement.

Bighill didn't have his best game but to suggest taking him out of the lineup is madness. Bighill has to be a star for us or we are not getting a sniff at the Grey Cup. Just gotta be patient and hope he finds his MODP game soon.

I doubt that MOS would have won a 3rd down ball placement challenge. I can't remember any coach winning one. Better to keep the challenge for something that's winnable. Bighill led the team in tackles with 10. He was much better this week than he was last week. I expect him to be back to his old self soon.

1 - Not quite the same, Willy was beaten down and had zero time to make his reads/throws. With the lack of mobility Willy couldn't buy time to make a pass. When the o-line started coming around Willy was already completely shell shocked. Nichols has the friggin time... the guy simply doesn't have the arm , the legs, the confidence to make tight throws. 2 - I think people are over exaggerating the crapping on Bighill. While he hasn't been rock solid he's far from playing bad. I think a lot of the bad look comes from the completely open 10 yards down the field zone that the Blue allow. 3 - Those three teams only put the back up in because of injury. What makes no sense is that this team did sprinkle in Streveler last season and a bit earlier this year in a few series to mix things up. Why in the bloody hell would they not do this when Nichols is absolutely tanking and can't make a single first down? It blows my mind? Would it kill them to at least give Chris a shot?

In the time that the ball placement challenge on 3rd downs has been in place. I can't remember a coach winning one. It would have had to be so flagrant to be overturned. With the game so close Osh probably felt he'd keep it for something more challengable. I'm not saying he shouldn't have but I understand why he didn't.

I haven't given up on Nichols but my confidence in him is majorly shaken. I don't think Streveler is the answer & as I said, there's no backup qb on any roster that is ready to take over if traded. We're stuck with Matt & will be for the rest of the season. I just hope the guy bounces back.

As always can’t go quarters and halves without making a throw. This has been Nichols issue back to Edmonton. Once again we’re a couple first downs from a win and he can’t convert the second down to keep the offense on the field. And we lose.

Would it ****ing kill MOS to put Streveler in for a series or two when Nichols is shitting all over the field?? Like really?? If Nichols' ego cant take it or he's too mentally fragile to sit and watch for a few drives then its time to go sell insurance.

It's not like LaPo is calling passing plays where Nichols only has one guy to throw to. He has the time and just ******* can't hit a target at all and/or dumps it off poorly to his check down receiver. When Streveler is in he ******* chucks the ball down field and while some of the throws are risky he at least gives the receiver a chance to make a play. It's not Lapo this week,, this week is **** stain mcgee nichols who can't hit anything.

Where's all the blow hards at claiming passing yards dont matter now? And our defense is just elite at keeping teams out of the endzone too despite giving up ridiculous amounts of yards? We were blind lucky to start 5-0. Cant believe how many people are surprised by this, was inevitable starting with the Edmonton game

Suck on what? That was all Harris, nichols did very little that drive... You could have put in Collaros/Evans/Bridge/Drew Wily and they could have scored that drive.

to get this back on track.... it's interesting that much of the talk around Streveler's lack of experience as the big reason for not throwing him into a game, yet, in Calgary & Saskatchewan, you have 2 very green QBs who are learning on the fly, and doing quite well at it. Just saying.

Zero chance of Streveler starting barring a Nichols injury. I don't see him getting game time this weekend unless the club is absolutely getting pummeled and they'll put him in with 4 minutes left so he can hand the ball off to kill time.

O'Shea is in no danger of being fired.

Watching that 2nd half....was really struck by the lack of adjustment from this coaching staff. Argo QB kept dropping those dinks and dumps... and scrambling up the middle. while we vacated some zones, to run useless blitz packages......lousy tackling didn't help matters No attempt to stretch the field on O, no Streveler, no Hybrid packages.....less than 30 yds passing in that half. Top to bottom fail

Edmonton couldn't cash in despite our best efforts to throw the game away, and we beat up on Ottawa and Toronto on home field. Wow. Amazing. Plan the parade. Seriously, get a clue and realize what you're watching.

ONE ****ing first down after the Jefferson strip/fumble recovery! ONE! And we probably win that game. A team that cant get a first down when it needs it is a pretender and will NEVER win a championship.
