I would like to see Gray back in the lineup and Hecht out. Hopefully coach Hall is okay from a personal standpoint. This is such an unbelievably huge game, we win this and much of the bad will from the last two weeks will be forgotten about. We lose this game? We're likely stuck in third place and a large number of Bomber fans will either hit the panic button or exit stage left. IMHO our best O-line production was with Gray and Speller at the guard positions. The play execution was pretty good, but missing of late is the agitator factor Gray brought to the line. In his starts he was living rent free in the opposing d-lines’ heads. A shame there is an issue keeping them from going back to that... be it injury or personnel management...

No to MBT, no to Collaros (has he been cleared to play or even practice?) and maybe to Franklin if the price is right. None of those guys should be seeing the field for us unless Strev goes down. That is pretty much the bottom line. Hecht is not physically gifted enough when he gets it right and he sure has heck does not have the physical capability to get back in a play where he screws up. We got away with it a lot earlier in the year because teams feared our pass rush and weren't going long on us. Now they max protect and go long knowing there is no safety help to be had.

This is one of the things that is not getting nearly enough attention after the Hamilton game... they took so many penalties on punt and kick returns it seemed like every drive was starting deep in their own end, and coupled with Medlock being ass for a 2nd straight game the field position which they usually fair well in was just awful. This team relies on all 3 phases doing their jobs, but it really did not get any help from any phase vs. Hamilton.

Generally speaking, the players brought in late in the season that end up making a measurable difference are not raw rookies. The PR expansion guys are almost exclusively futures. Believe me, I don’t consider Flanders or Ball to be big time difference makers but you can’t equate the PR expansion guys the Bombers brought in with the type of guy that most people are clamouring for.

Re-read my post. I said I don't think it's reasonable to blow up this regime if they fall short this year, hence the "championship or bust" remark. Stability is a major key to success and that's what we're seeing now. This organization hasn't had four consecutive winning seasons in ages.
