As you probably know by now (but didn't delete your misleading post), the person was a plant for the LaRouche PAC, a far-right Trump supporting group. Conservatives attacked Ocasio-Cortez over a bizarre town hall speaker. Now, a pro-Trump fringe group says it planned the stunt. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2019/10/04/conservatives-attacked-ocasio-cortez-over-bizarre-town-hall-speaker-now-pro-trump-fringe-group-says-they-planned-stunt/ You may want to reevaluate who the "crazy" people actually are. In his podcast Doug Brown was saying the blueprint for beating the Bombers both offensively and defensively has now been put down on film and they can expect every team to employ that strategy for the remainder of the season. On O; make Streveler beat you with his arm and force him up the middle when he runs. On D; forget about running the ball and focus on blocking the pass rush, given enough time the Bomber secondary falls apart.3 points -
RG has already said that he wasn't acting as the President's attorney while doing the deed for Trump. He also said he was asked to do work by the State Department. That's also not privileged. Giuliani is Trump's attorney only because no qualified attorney would take the job. He's already put so much evidence into the public sphere, he should disbarred. And, I'm sure he will be one day. Cohen was also Trump's attorney.3 points

I'm sort of nervous because I need them to "prove it" to me again. I know they CAN do it, but until I actually see it again, I have worries that we're gonna tank out the rest of the season. About this Tides Foundation malarkey which aligns with Jason Kenny's "war room against oil opponents" - a former Crown Prosecutor has done 9 months of digging and data analysis and finds that it's all BS. She judiciously counters the following myths: Myth 1: Powerful American foundations have subjected Alberta to a targeted campaign of economic sabotage, turning the province into a 'whipping boy.' Myth 2: Environmental funders give a free pass to U.S. oil and gas projects, allowing American production to soar while Alberta stalls. Myth 3: Pipeline opposition grants dominate foreign funding in Canada. Myth 4: U.S.-based foundations, led by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, have made Alberta a central focus of their strategy. Myth 5: The Tar Sands Campaign is directed out of San Francisco by an organization called CorpEthics International, and its principal, Michael Marx. Myth 6: Tides is the 'funding and co-ordination juggernaut' behind anti-pipeline activism. Myth 7: Land and marine conservation grants from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation are a hidden part of anti-pipeline efforts. Myth 8: Foreign money made all the difference. Myth 9: The Canadian oil sector is a victim, out-funded by large foreign foundations. A data-based dismantling of Jason Kenney's foreign-funding conspiracy theory "As long as the foreign funding conspiracy theory was a lone researcher’s crusade, this thing had a great run. Underdogs are popular, and suspicion of foreign plotting is a guaranteed box office winner. Now that it’s official Alberta government policy, however, things are about to get a lot trickier. The foreign funding conspiracy theory is a house of sand, where every pillar crumbles to the touch. At its core, this theory, which Jason Kenney has adopted as the Alberta government's, is that the province has been targeted by a cabal of American foundations led by the Rockefellers in a deliberate campaign of economic sabotage. By directing money and influence to an anti-pipeline movement called the Tar Sands Campaign, these foundations seek to advance American energy interests by landlocking Canadian oil. As I wrote earlier in September, the sham outrage over foreign money is just a cynical ruse. Unscrupulous governments are employing it around the world to discredit, silence and intimidate environmental dissent, and ultimately to choke off resources to activist groups. Nobody cares about foreign money, least of all Jason Kenney." https://www.nationalobserver.com/2019/10/03/analysis/data-based-dismantling-jason-kenneys-foreign-funding-conspiracy-theory?fbclid=IwAR3IQaBOMBznIKyZp6D9irEu1dG5q6L3RL3MAaxVgmFblXlm83zjC0zlOS42 points -

He only had 12 carries, I think. And Streveler had 80-something yards as well. A few more touches and he would have eclipsed 100 yards. But, really, you're quibbling about not getting 100 yards on the ground when he 188 total yards?2 points -

I choose to look at the losses as huge learning opportunities.... I hope they have learned that they never want to lose a game like that again. Until then I am just goin go to enjoy the games.2 points -

It sucks that the two main parties are close to unelectable... One you have a veiled demagogue who shuns science, facts and evidence based decision making. Rewards those people with racist and homophobic ties with senior staff positions to assist in policy making. Who has no plan on climate change. Rewards with forgiveness and approval to those candidates who have made racist and homophobic slurs... a hypocrite and a liar. Then we have a liar and a hypocrite who dressed up in brownface 20 years ago... I would 100% take Trudeau over sheer- solely on the fact that he is less dangerous... and that is a sad state of our politics here in Canada... I would vote for either green or ndp- but that is pretty much eating my vote... So that leaves to have to strategically vote against the harm the cons will bring... Sucks.2 points -

I have said it before, and I will say it again, our team game and strategy is tailor made for winning in cold weather. We run the rock like no one else, and defend the run better than anyone. When that thermometer goes down that's the two things you need to do the best. We could not win another game this year and I would still like our chances in the playoffs providing it is cold.2 points -
I suggest that the Bomber record over the past 6 games is the best measure of where the team is now, and that is not complimentary to them. Its not just the losses, its the way they lost games.2 points

I'd let Bighill or whoever is the defensive captain/leader call the majority...not unheard of, and also they have a better feel for game and whats working/not and who is having certain issues that sometimes doesn't get communicated from field to sideline...and vice versa The players know the dfense..the plays...and what they are most comfortable with..they can get input from the spotters but they can make the calls based on the looks the other team is showing..sometimes like we have seen...Coordinators wayyyy over think things and don't just let the players play...especially with whats working...keep it simple...react to the plays....2 points

See... this is one of my biggest concerns about the cons- rejecting evidence, science and facts to drive that ideological narrative of theirs... next comes suppression and gag orders on science and experts- went through it once- what a truly despicable era that was... And here we go again... https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/scheer-british-columbia-carbon-tax-analysis-wherry-1.5304364 Facts and experts say Carbon tax works (people use less if it costs more? Who would have thunk It?)... cons come along and say- "evidence smevidence, it doesn't work!" We can't make decisions to better our country if we dont have an evidence based decision making process in making those choices...2 points -

Far from it. I have loved and supported this team for almost 50 years, through good times and bad. I have seen enough ups and down to be able to tell fish from fowl and I have lost confidence in this coaching staff. At some point, they have to be held accountable for the fact that the team is not progressing as rapidly as other teams who have rebuilt and the Bombers still have great difficulty adapting to the other teams' changes. This doesn't mean that the current coaches aren't trying- I suggest that they simply are unable.2 points

The Beaverton nails it again. Update: Scheer kept US citizenship secret for fear of being persecuted as a white American man "REGINA – Conservative leader Andrew Scheer said that he kept his US citizenship a secret until now for fear of being persecuted as a white heterosexual male from the United States. “I didn’t want anyone to know that, in addition to my Canadian citizenship, I also have roots with a country that’s tremendously different,” said Scheer. “Growing up, I knew the white Catholic Canadian kids from Ottawa would treat a white Catholic Canadian kid from Ottawa with dual citizenship differently. I looked like most of the other kids, which made me feel so different.” Scheer detailed the difficulties of fitting in, speaking the same language, and struggling to be just like all the other kids who didn’t have the right to vote in US elections or freedom to work in the world’s largest economy. Scheer was routinely discriminated against in his schooling for not placing a “u” in words such as “colour” and “honour.”" https://www.thebeaverton.com/2019/10/update-scheer-kept-us-citizenship-secret-for-fear-of-being-persecuted-as-a-white-american-man/2 points -
hopefully the removal of Hecht will solve a lot of the backend issues..as I seen it the last 2 games he offered no help anywhere in coverage and was generally out of position, or physically not able to be in position..and then tried to make up for a gaff by "trying" to lay a big hit...and failing miserably at that as well. For the better part of the first 12 games, and the beginning of the 13th the backend wasn't really that big an issue...they gave up yards at times...but minimal scores (as our points against prove) and kept teams out of endzone as a defense as a whole. those last 6 quarters??....I'm thinking (hoping) that is an anomoly and some kind of personnel issue/communication thing that has come up...teams...especially at this stage in a season just forget how to perform and suck, and also other teams don't "see" something that was hidden until now and are exploiting it...not in my experience playing and coaching Funks happen..we are seeing one now, and hopefully a healthy Jeffcoat regaining form..Alexander being back and a nice couple servings of humble pie lately will be tonic enough to get these guys pointed back in right direction....This weekend's game will go a long way in determining that2 points

For me it's more than his decision making...it's his unwillingness to admit that there are issues (he doesn't have to thrown anyone under the bus to admit there are issues) and his unwillingness to take any responsibility for them. By halftime of the Hamilton game the team had given up 790 passing yards in the last 6 quarters...then he gets on the coaches show and assures us there are no issues with the secondary. Claims the only issue is the team didn't play "tough enough". When pressed on why that was he offers nothing. Irving gave him every chance to explain it and he flat out refused. Irving asked him why. MOS was unable/unwilling to give an answer. Irving asked him again saying there must be a reason...and MOS said well there are reasons but they will just sound like excuses...and refused to expand on it. Irving then asked him if the reason they weren't tough enough was because MOS didn't properly prepare them. MOS says that as a coach you're always wondering if the things you say or do are right...whether they're valid and have meaning...you're always inspecting that. Irving says...and did you come up with anything? MOS...nothing new...hahaha. Yeah...hilarious...smh If he can't hold himself accountable how can he hold anyone else accountable2 points -
