A lot of people pencilling in MTL for East Final. Not convinced. Me thinks EDM pass rush spells trouble for Adams. Really want a HAM WPG GC.7 points -

HHH to Mike Miller for the having the exact same Mike Miller stat line for the sixth or seventh time this year: one target, one catch, one first down. Dude showed some moves too, your FB is not supposed to be able to deke a corner.6 points -

You know what, I don't really care which team we play. We have shown we can beat either calgary or saskatchewan and the losses were hardly blowouts when they did happen. All we need to do is string together a couple wins to play in the Grey Cup and if not for a few lapses in games thought to be well in hand this team would have cruised to first in the west.4 points -

Brock might have made that pass, but he would have probably put it right through the chest cavity of an unfortunate DB to get it to the receiver who would have lost the skin on both palms.3 points -

but I am not talking about the touchdown throw, I'm talking about the ones that should have been picked but were dropped. If streveler throws those you probably don't hand wave it away like you do with Collaros.3 points -

darn you beat me to it - I was going to say that I thought for a minute that Collaros should be renamed Zach Clements from now on. That throw to Darvin was vintage Clements all the way. Now we just got to get Collaros connecting with Peterman and Wolipoplawski and we are good to go for another GC.3 points -

I don't know what happened to the Esks pass rush, their D-line started off the season like the scourge of the league, but last game against the Riders they only had one sack with the LB's contributing 3 more. Hats off to JSK who led the team with 8 DT's and a sack.3 points -

I just said he couldn't have made that play. Only a few qbs can do that. Nichols can't. Hell, Dieter Brock couldn't have made that throw. It takes a certain skill set to make a play like that. Russell Wilson made a similar play a couple of weeks ago. Flushed out of the pocket, rolled to his left under fierce pressure & threw the ball to the corner of the back of the end zone for a TD to Tyler Lockett. I thought he was throwing the ball away but somehow he saw Lockett running to the back of the end zone & he threw it in the only place he could have for a score. The Collaros throw was very similar except he scrambled & rolled to his right. The last Bomber qb I believe who could have made a similar type throw was Tom Clements as I saw him do stuff like that all the time. Scramble away from pressure & find a guy open with what looked like an impossible throw. That's what made guys like Clements special. That's all I was trying to say.2 points -

I stopped watching at that point... two guys trying to make a play on the ball... there's some minor contact.... one guy flails his arms in the air... and he gets the call... I was glad when Maas challenged... I thought, this should be an easy overturned call...2 points -
1: Zach Collaros - he wasn't perfect - far from it - but he made the plays when he had to and took some hits and kept going... 2: Andrew Harris - like Zach, no eye-popping stats... but always reliable and that 15 yard run to seal the game was vintage Harris... 3: Willie Jefferson - like my first two guys, not significant statistically... but he's constantly reeking havoc and set a new record for DL pass knock downs in a season... HH: Janarion Grant - taking that missed extra point back for the TD was a three point swing which was the difference in the final drive... and stole momentum back after the Calgary TD...2 points

I don’t believe dinwiddie calls the plays in Calgary. So you really don’t know how he’d handle the pressure.2 points

I'm fully on board with Coach Buck taking over next year, but if it's Dinwiddie, it's not the worst thing. Better than Lapo, tho that's a pretty low bar...2 points

I was watching the Green Bay game on Sunday and I thought this TD pass looked familiar. It seems Aaron Rogers must have seen the Bomber’s game, and Zach Collaros on Friday night, because these TD passes were very similar. Zach must have given him inspiration!2 points

The RedBlacks may be the only team who didn't lose a starting qb contrary to popular belief. Even though Dom Davis did miss some time to injury but neither he, Jennings or Arndt are good enough to start on any other team. So, the RedBlacks may be the only team that lost their actual backup qb who started. The other point I want to make is remember how that asshat & smug Desjardins mocked the Bombers back in the 2013 Expansion Draft saying there was no Bomber he wanted to pick? Well, looking at that POS team he has this season, other than Sinopoli would there be any players we'd want?? Karma is sure a *****. I'm loving it.2 points -

The green economy - broadly defined as an economy that is low carbon, resource efficient and socially inclusive - is a major source of jobs in the US, employing an estimated 9.5 million people. The study, published in Palgrave Communications, finds that the size of the green economy and employment in the US grew by 20% between 2013 and 2016. This represents an additional 1.5 million jobs in the green economy; while over the same period, according to Department of Energy data, the coal industry saw a decline of 37,000 jobs. Lead author, Dr Lucien Georgeson (UCL Geography) said: “Our analysis suggests that the case for driving economic growth and job creation through fossil fuels is weakening, based on the available data.” https://sciencebusiness.net/network-updates/according-ucl-study-us-green-economy-worth-13-trillion-year2 points -

That should have been an easy penalty The defender was aimed at him...low. Had he been lining him up and in the act of trying to hit him while still standing he would have gone over his head. He aimed at him while he was already sliding. That's why he hit him so flush. That the command centre or the refs would not recognize that fact is inexcusable.2 points -
If 11 and 7 with a backup QB for the 2nd half of the season is bad, i hate to be the new coach. Yeesh. Its crazy. Imo we match up well vs both Cal and Sask.. Cal is vulnerable on sp teams.. Sask is just not as good as their record. Lots of close wins. U know, i dont hate our chances to rep the West. I think Hammy is the class of the league tho.2 points

In summary: Records on this night... Andrew Harris—No. 1 all-time in CFL rushing yards by a Canadian, and eclipses 9000 yards. Mike Miller—now No. 2 all-time in CFL career special teams tackles, and most amongst all-time #Bombers (185) Willie Jefferson—most pass knockdowns in a season by a D-lineman (16) It was a good night indeed.2 points

You know, there’s a theory about why there are so many Rider fans beyond the borders of that province. Something about not being able to smell their litter boxes beyond a certain distance, thus preventing them from returning home. Just wondering if anybody here knows about this theory.1 point -

My prediction, O’Shea as HC, Maas as OC and Younger as DC in TO next year Wouldnt be surprised if Collaros is back there too.1 point -
Impressive thing about collaros last night was his ball placement and catchability. Of 6 incompletions 1 was a pick on him but was a product of lack of experience in the system. 2 throw aways and 2 passes were wrs flubbed. Darvin Adams on the challenge shouldve turned up field sooner on the scramble if he did he probably scores on that play. The other demski half dropped as he was hit from behind. Combine that with the fact we saw soo few second down check downs for half the distance needed or less. And he hit guys in stride a lot. Letting them keep their momentum and not have to come back to the ball a lot. The most accurate passing we've seen in a very long time all in all. Our pass rush really misses having Nevis and Richardson in as starters. Kongbo had a great game too if few stats. Couple pressures couple qb hits a pass knock down and got in on a bunch of gang tackles. The 30 front look with a de at nose was pretty dismal for the ends to play through too.1 point
