Also, Winston Rose was tied for the lead in interceptions last year with 5, and this year, he was all alone with 9 interceptions, 2 ahead of the much more ballyhooed Tre Roberson... Great job Winston!!10 points

This has been ongoing for some time now and gets very little attention. The MacKenzie Delta is an incredibly rich region in terms of its ecological diversity, not to mention its size and the watershed in which it's situated. There's an amazing amount of research being conducted in Canada's North and ARI is one such organization: https://nwtresearch.com/ I was fortunate enough to attend to Western Arctic Research Centre two summers ago, with two presentations covering the delta and how it's changing due to climate change and the ongoing warming of the arctic. Neither painted the prettiest picture as far as the future of the region is concerned. Permafrost and carbon monitoring are two significant concerns. And for anyone who thinks Canada's role in climate change is a drop in the bucket, think again: https://www.carbonbrief.org/the-carbon-brief-profile-canada4 points -

Part of it is just that our offense doesn't utilize a receiver the same way that Calgary does (or other teams do) because we have Andrew Harris and the offense runs through him, for better or worse. We're just not designed to be a passing offense like that. So maybe a guy like Lawler or whoever could be the next Begelton, but it's hard to know for sure in our offense.3 points -

Just what do these stats mean?Well, it certainly means they can out pass us if we don’t make any adjustments. We’ve seen that already. Total yards are a lot closer, but for us, we have to grind it out. Calgary, with a flick of the wrist, can explode with their talent. We’ve seen that too.I like our forced fumble stat, and we’re going to need help on STs too. It’s there for the taking...let’s take it.3 points

They're healthy. They were the best in the regular season. They're going to play an inferior team at home in the playoffs after a nice rest. They are unbeatable at home this year. And, whichever team emerges from the West will probably be beaten up. Hamilton is definitely the favourite.3 points

To me, Hamilton has to be the favourite.3 points -
It's going to be a tough road. Against the Stamps it's hard to rely on your defense all game, so I'm hoping that with the addition of Collaros and having some designed runs for Streveler we can do enough on offense to pull this one out. It really seems that these two teams match up quite well against each other and that a few plays separate them. It could be a special teams play that decides this game. The Roughriders are not as good as Calgary but they'll be almost as tough an opponent playing within the confines of Mosaic. If our defense plays well, we can generally hold Sask to few points. They've only had mild success offensively against us all year: Final drive of the Labour Day classic, and some crazy fortunate plays that ended up in the hands of Shaq Evans (he is a good receiver though). On offense it is key to limit turnovers. Putting up 20+ points probably wins this one. Hamilton...the only thing that makes me think they won't win the Grey Cup is if Dane Evans has a true rookie moment out there. But who knows.3 points

Campbell to Edmonton, yes. I'm not buying the MOS to TO though. He likes it here. It shows when he talks to people. He likes coaching in front of the big crowd. He's also built something. Yes, he loves his old organization but it's just shell of it's former self. No one in TO cares, except a handful of die-hards. It's not the same. My bet is that he's back.3 points

I'd have to disagree with you... as of this year... Bailey and Lawler both look like legit CFL receivers.... Lucky (when used properly) can be a threat... and Janarion Grant (while he hasn't done anything on offense yet) I think can be a very good receiver (with a different OC)...2 points -

I'm not on the "fire Mike O'Shea" band wagon... but if it's a "fire MOS and hire Rick Campbell" band wagon... then I might be interested... though as others have speculated... I would also guess he'll be in Edmonton next year...2 points

I don't think the Ticats will make it out of the East. I see MOntreal. I also see the Bombers in the Grey Cup. Who will win? Bombers.2 points -
True. Usually the first place team is head and shoulders above the others, which is why they most often win the GC. But with the parity this year, first place could very well be less of an advantage.2 points

I don’t see the Riders beating the winner of the WSF. I like that we get Calgary right out of the gate and that they don’t get a week to rest up before facing us. I will say that it seems that any team from the West will have trouble beating the Ticats this year, they’re also the only team in the league we didn’t beat. That’s not something I would’ve predicted at the beginning of the year, and certainly not when Masoli went down.2 points -
