If you are in DaNang at the moment see if you can find anything about "China Beach" or a place called "Monkey Mountain" - I took in country R&R at China Beach when I was stationed at a fire base up on the Parrots Beak near the Cambodian boarder in 1969. Bob Irving told 620 radio today that the Bombers told their media that Bryant graded far above the other Bomber lineman...so I'm guessing other media judges offensive lineman by the same standards - they listen to what the team tells them.

Quite honestly, all it comes down to is that people just don't care. Only, the super-duper-die-hards want twelve months of football. There are not enough super-duper-die-hards that will watch or care. The XFL-Dos, will fail like the XFL-Uno and the AAF and all the other failed leagues. If it's not NCAA or NFL, it won't fly, bankroll or not.

I know the Harris snubbing has been beaten to death, but what is Simone Lawrence doing on there. He served a suspension and fined for a nasty headshot. Is that the type of player we call outstanding? That to me is the opposite of outstanding and negates anything positive he does on the field. So play as dirty as you like, but be extra careful what you ingest! I think for clarity, the league should make players ineligible for awards if they are suspended for any reason.
