The Bomber org doesn't care about any news coming out of Regina, speculation, video..game playing..none of it...doesn't matter to the players or coaching staff...they are game planning for the Rider's at their healtiest, and for what they do, and any possible tweaks that they may employ..straight up and simple...regardless of who is in, they have a plan so speculate away but it doesn't matter...at this point in season teams are pretty much what they are and not much changes, tho we kinda went against the grain in the WSF and changed a lot...I don't see the Rider's doing that as I don't think their staff is experienced enough, and good enough to implement big changes, and are kind of sitting there for most part of the year thinking they are the cats meow and are top notch as it is...and this is a good thing We have basically been paying CGY and SSK exclusively the last month and a bit so have lots of film..have been studying them a lot, and have been working on stuff in practices for a while now focusing soley on those 2 teams, because regardless of how the season panned out the last month we knew we were basically going to have to play one or the other, and most likely both, so we will be prepared, and it showed in step one dismantling BLM and Whiney **** Sunday will be much of the same with a similar outcome of dismantling Goofy **** and the Clown show tries to keep in check there....I bet 100 percent you will see those arsebags chirping..crossing midfield in warm-ups and trying to instigate pre-game BS like in LDC and BB, and we will once again ignore it and go about our business, and take em out back to the woodshed and handle business10 points -

It occurred to me that if we had played Saskatchewan first and had the result that we did, there would be all sorts of posters here reminding us that the real test would be to go to Calgary and beat the Stamps. Well, I think that beating Calgary WAS the real test. So for me I don't give one whit how injured Fajardo is or isn't. It isn't going to make a bit of difference. The only team that can beat the Bombers this coming Sunday is the Bombers. Period. The Blue and Gold play like they are capable of and Regina is nothing more that a speed bump. Have a great time in Regina all who are going and remember to stop in Virden. Last indoor plumbing you'll see for a while.8 points -
And when all the tears fell on the ground they began circling the stadium clockwise down unto the centre of the field where a hole opened up and whooshed them all away. Mosaic's design was finally brought to fruition and it proved that the giant toilet bowl look was no coincidence. In Australia they would have went the other direction.6 points

Let's put it to bed already, based on his history here (Nichols and winning percentage and who cares if it was cause of the defence/st/shitty team. faced..he still wins) how we were rolling when he was playing (leading league in points scored..excellent TD to INT ratio) there is no doubt in my mind that we would have hosted a play-off game and prety certain it would have been this one on sunday. Matt takes a lot of grief and slack and no credit for wins...always a yeah but, but wins are wins and it's a team effort last time I checked..is he fancy and exciting like Retlly...nope...Is he cerebral and a surgeon like BLM..nope...is he a Grab you by the nuts and drag you to a win like Strev...nope...but the guy rarely did things to directly contribute to a loss (save for that 3-4 game stretch last year...yikes!!) and guys played for him and followed him as he was a leader..speculating never solves anything but man oh man people sure lamented not having him down the stretch...5 points -

Me either. One of the guys showed up to work with a Riders jersey on. I went over to him and said, "Are you a Riders fan"? He said, "No, I don't even follow the CFL. I just saw it on sale and had heard about the Riders so I bought it". I told him, "Big mistake! They're the most hated team in the league. Don't be caught dead wearing that jersey ever again. Better yet, give it to me and I'll burn it for you". He looked at me a little suspiciously but has never worn that jersey to work since. He and I both live and work in Toronto. LOL! No one here needs to thank me. I'm just performing my duty as a Bomber fan and a Rider hater. Ain't no big thing.5 points

By no means memorable, two terrible teams playing in a practically meaningless game, but the comeback win against the BC Lions in 2010 will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was the first live Bomber game I ever attended with my girlfriend (now wife). We were hooked thereafter and bought 2011 season tickets the next year. Old highlights if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xj8fPebMdPI5 points -
Jam at the line..Have your HB or SAM jam in the 5 yard to mess up the timing or break up the pass...so playing tight man..or a mixed coverage. I could also see us show blitz and crowd the box to lull sask into the quick hitter and drop the ends out at snap right in the spot Sask has showed tendancy to hit...exactly the type of player in Jefferson we have to do that and get a pick six...much like he did to us and edm last year4 points

Introverts aren't always shy quiet types who can't deal with people. Introvert vs. extrovert is all about your energy level and how it gets refreshed or diminished. Extroverts gain energy being around people and interacting with them and get drained being on their own, introverts are the opposite, being around people drains their energy and they need time alone to recharge. And like most things it's not an either or thing, people fall at all sorts of points in between the two. Just a pet peeve of mine people misunderstanding what these two types of thing mean.4 points

Don't say that to Aardvark. The Bombers basically hired Bob Wylie on his recommendation and who could forget the hot chocolate debacle of 2015 where his complaint launched an investigation into the hot beverage industry at IGF.4 points

Before he got hurt the Bombers were cruising to first in the west and Nichols was looking like the only thing that would prevent him from being an MOP candidate was Andrew Harris... I just do not understand how people can downplay Matt Nichols at this point. All he does for this team is win football games. Yeah it's not pretty and can be boring at times, but that's a Lapo gameplan when you're playing with a lead, which Nichols had more times than not this season.4 points

Just to add to the oblique conversation, while I fully believe folks' comments on the physical pain, general discomfort and disabling effects of such an injury, perhaps the more damning is the psychological effects. For example, 3 days ago I got a paper cut on my right index finger and while it's healed, I hesitate to touch my computer mouse too hard because I'm used to the slight sting. Not only do I hesitate due to the "pain", but I don't want to reopen the cut. Now exchange "paper cut" with "abdominal (core) tear", and replace "touching my work computer mouse" with "pro football in the cold". If CoFaj starts, he will not be the CoFaj Glen Suitor blows on a daily basis.4 points -

2011 I never expected to win...I didn't have a lot of hope for that one. 2007, as well, I believed we COULD win, but with Dinwiddie in for Glenn and making his first ever start...I didn't have a ton of hope. 2001 tho....that was real real bad. That one destroyed something inside of me that has never fully healed.3 points -

I had probably as difficult a time with 2011 GC as 2007 GC, simply because going into the game in 2007 we knew we had no QB, and in 2011 we had such an amazing year and just declined going into that game. I admit that team was a smokescreen, but that 2011 summer just very well may have been the best summer of my life. All November during the playoffs that year I would blast a crappy burnt CD I made that consisted of a mix of songs played during the games at CanadInns that year to get pumped. I think the loss jaded me because even though this 2016 - present era now is at least as exciting, I've never allowed myself to match that level of emotional investment for fear of getting hurt. That said, the East Final "last" game at CanadInns where we stomped the Cats with Chris Garrett alone and Odell Willis ran around in -25 with no shirt to hoist the East trophy was probably my favourite game. What a terrific feeling. Went with a group of friends and family and drank ice cold beer to stay warm. I would very much like that 'best game' memory to be replaced by November 24, 2019. (That said, while we have not had enough time to process it yet, I think a lot of us will look back on this past Sunday's game with a lot of fondness. I mean, we slaughtered Bo Levi in his own stadium in a year where Calgary is hosting the Cup and no one picked us. That's huge, even from an historical perspective)3 points -

So I took a little time to check the box scores of the 3 Wpg-SSK games and I really don't care if Fajardo plays or at what percentage of 110% he will be able to play, as long as the Bombers win the turnover battle. The Bombers won T.O.P. in every game: 33:16/26:44 L 34:26/25:34 W 30:16/29:44 L 97:58/82:02 Total. (We had the ball an entire quarter more, over 3 games). Total offense for all 3 games showed a difference of just 14 yards (1058/1072) 347/370 341/303 370/399 So how did we lose 2 of 3? Labour Day was just a blown game, but even with Streveler, it could be argued that our offense was more solid based on the TOP. Streveler threw interceptions on the Wpg40 and the SK35. Fajardo threw picks on the Wpg12 and Wpg29, so both teams gave up good opportunities. No lost fumbles that game. Game 2's win was clean and dominant for Winnipeg's offense. Fajardo threw a pick at the Wpg14 and fumbled on the S40. TOP was not close. Game 3's loss: All I'm going to say is Streveler threw picks on the SK17, the SK goal line and fumbled at the SK 29. SK did not turn over the ball that game. Even with Streveler (and without Harris for 2 of 3) we controlled the clock. Just some unfortunate and untimely TO's did the Bombers in. Fajardo (while better than I think we give him credit for) and the SK offense do not strike a lot of fear in me.3 points

Here's what I *LOVE* about this. If Fajardo doesn't play and we crush the riders, the riders will go ON AND ON about us only winning because we played their backup. And then, we will all damn well remind them of 2007* and how they barely beat us against our quarterback with his first pro start (in the Grey Cup) Many bans will follow.... and we will enjoy our 2019 Grey Cup win.3 points

Tommy had a beautiful delivery throwing on the run. Running left, hard plant with the right leg, hard torso right, small lift of both feet and sling. Beautiful. New material on the market: Strevelon. Guaranteed tough. Takes a pummelling and keeps on rumbling. Wrinkle free. Tumble dries. Comes with a warning about handling only with one’s arms. Eats up time and space, and is very efficient in small areas. Makes everything around it look better. Read the directions carefully. Missed directions is always a common offshoot. Economical too. Running mostly on nickels. Can be changed to work in other quarters. Limited time offer...2 points
