Last week, I had so much anxiety about the thought of allowing those Riders assholes to win, I was a bag of smashed assholes about it...couldn't even enjoy game day 'cause I was such a mess thinking about it. This week...much better. I have no ill will toward Hamilton, and in any other circumstance, I'd probably be cheering for them. However, they can all go **** themselves this week...I want that ring.

I will never understand the "sexy" factor to fans being the end-all be-all. Nichols has come here and been a winner. Period. Brought the Bombers back not only to respectability but to the top of the West before he got hurt. If you want to diss him, go after his injury history. But people think that this team doesn't follow him and that he doesn't inspire? They were 7-2 and on top of the league with him, FFS!!!! Didn't see any malingerers on the team when he was running the ship. But Big Chris inspires - yeah, all the way to a 4-8 record as a starter the last 2 years. I think people here would fall all over Trevor Harris and his big yardage numbers and not consider that he is sub-.500 as a starter. I swear, if the internet existed when Tom Clements was QB here he would have been run out of town for being too boring and not putting the team on his back with his 3600 yard passing and 24 TDs, oh no don't look at his Grey Cup ring, he's not exciting enough.

I cannot stand this type of crap - usually from people who never lived anywhere else and just visit other cities. Trust me, Winnipeg has a lot going for it.

Listen, as a city, I don't LOVE Winnipeg....but after moving to Alberta, I have come to REALLY appreciate Winnipeg. My wife is born and raised Calgary and is extremely vocal about her desire to move to Manitoba sooner rather than later. Granted, we would likely live in Lorette or something and commute, but the point remains. The winters are only slightly worse than Calgary and the summers are 10x better. The craft beer scene is booming, and there's no better fishing anywhere....**** the haters. I go to bat for Manitoba a LOT, and Winnipeg more than I used to....... Okay, back to the offseason stuff and wringing my hands over the thought of losing 1/3 of The Trinity....

My big question is on tickets: I'm one to buy them last second before I leave the hotel on stubhub to snag a deal, or at worst try to find scalpers at the stadium. Has anyone tracked stubhub on grey cup days before to see how it behaves? The very last thing I want is to get there and the ticketmasters have been all given away to the military and stubhub is sold out or $1k a ticket. Does anyone know when they do the final free giveaway to claim "sold out"? Not many tickets left on TM as it is. Does anyone who lives in CGY have any info on where to find the scalpers at McMahon and whether it's a "thing" there? Also, on Monday stubhub had a ton of "UPS delievered" tickets, some at good prices, but they all disappeared Tuesday. So I guess after physical delivery is impossible due to time constraints all those tickets just drop off the face of the earth? No way for those physical holders to electronic-alize their tickets into "mobile transfer" ones? If any of you are in CGY and knows someone local stuck with 2 physical tickets and wants to sell them cheap, let me know in PM asap. Need something between the 20's, don't care how high up. Seems like it to me and that's foolish...many a good QB before him was similar..Ham for one..even Damon Allen was all run..spotty passing...you have to put a good 3 yrs into a guy before throwing away..he is leaps and bounds better than last year and if he was in an offence where he could actually play QB and run a normal offence..he could impress

To be perfectly honest, every day that goes by I care less and less about it because MBB is fulfilling my needs. I didn't bother with MBB previously because I spent all my "forum time" on TEP and didn't have time for another, especially when the conversation seemed like the same except considerably less active. Now with this forum, we have many of the same members plus the MBB stalwarts all in one place and it seems far more active. Obviously the software is world's better. I will go back to TEP if it comes back but I like it here and will probably end up making this my primary spot. As others have said, as long as there is good people here, including some old e-friends, that's all that matters to me.

As someone who lives in the NK/EK area, I can say without a doubt getting to/from and in/out of IGF is a joy compared to the first few seasons. It's night and day now and I couldn't be more pleased with the improvement. The whiners and bellyachers can get ****** AFAIC.
