  4. I still think with a different OC, Streveler could be a top tier QB in this league.

Coming from someone who thinks you're full of crap, I can confirm that it is you who does not know what the hell you're yapping about. There are many different types of should injury and you have zero clue as to what MN's injury was. Not sure how you could equate the recovery of an elite athlete with what they have at their disposal, to that of a keyboard warrior who strained his shoulder reaching for a donut.

  6. coming from someone who had a severe shoulder injury, 2 knee reconstructions , 2 known concussions , broken hand (x2) broken arm and played high level ball...at times with a cast...post surgeries..i can say without a doubt you don't really know what you are talking about...did you have a professional sports physician repair you?...sports therapist experts rehab you?...were you training and living llike a high level athlete??

My shoulder injury (significant and required surgery) went away and I played 7 years after the fact...bothers me now but didn't effect my play...also just because it's season ending doesn't mean it's career threatening by any means..I had season ending surgeries 3 times....just saying And in a football player I will take a guy with rebuilt knees..shoulders..anyday and twice on sunday than a chronic repeat Concussion sufferer..they DO NOT go away..and compound each time...and occur more frequently when as time goes on, and sometimes from something really minimal too...

  8. Fake time tunnel, that's nothing but fancy CGI magic, here's the real deal. Evidence that it really worked. Please pay no attention to the Hush Puppies the soldier is wearing, they were obviously accepted as a bribe from his captive to allow his escape.

  9. Stanley Bryant “You can see a major difference in things from when I first got to Winnipeg,” said Bryant. “You knew it was going to be a process to get the right pieces, the right people in the locker room. We’ve gelled each year. As a group, we’re ready to take that next step. Now we have to go out and do it and not just talk about it. I know we’re ready. I know the fans are ready. We want to make a legacy in Winnipeg and the window only stays open for so long.”Durability – the 32-year-old Goldsboro, NC product has made 83 consecutive starts since joining the club. https://www.cfl.ca/2019/01/19/stanley-bryant-star-off-field/ >>>Jan 19 2019<<< Now sign him!

  13. Streveler is an important piece moving forward. Right now, the best short yardage guy in the league, a serious running threat from any formation whatsoever....and if he refines his pocket presence and accuracy - will be a total nightmare for defences

  15. I honestly cant believe someone would argue this point. Collaros can get a season ending concussion from falling at this point. I mean so could anyone really, but the chances on Collaros are much higher. And it's going to be that way for the rest of his life. Nichols has at the very least an opportunity to completely heal. On top of that, the way you're responding to posters makes you seem like a giant ****** bag. Maybe take some time to review what you're saying/trying to say before you post.

  16. Being condescending doesn't make your argument right, nor does it make it any more compelling. Maybe you should check your attitude at the door because if you think it makes you sound smart you are sadly mistaken. Clueless indeed.

  19. Look at banjo bowl highlights.. made several different ranges of throws..same with grey cup..he needs to be let loose a bit like people have said.. roll outs..sprint outs..etc..hes not a pocket passer at this time so why force it Look at early Dunnigan stuff..they had him changing launch points all the time..teams weren't sure to defend run..or pass.. that's wht makes him effective. Having him run obvious run plays or keeping him stationary is stagnating his progress..let the boy loose and have at er

    Bomber Free Agent Discussion

I actually think it is a way to allow for that other Global guy to be on game day roster, while not increasing roster size...so basically a cost management thing to not have to pay that extra game day salary by only dressing 2 QB's Now is the rule you are only allowed to have 2?..or is it just need 2...can a team roster 3 if thats how they choose to use their roster?..and if not, being a new year can they re-designate Streveler as a receiver, but run exclusive wild cat sets with any one of him..the actual QB..Harris...whomever taking the snaps?...now thats the question I wanna know.

  21. Nichols worked to improve his mobility this past off-season, he was more mobile this year than last coming off his leg injury but he is essentially still a pocket passer. Collaros has always been more of a scrambler, if he'd signed with the Stamps instead of the Ti-Cats years ago he may have won multiple G.C.'s and better preserved his brain matter. Brain Matter-Scientifically illustrated.

When I hear guys dismiss Collaros's concussion history and then suggest that MN's injury is just as problematic only one word comes to mind. Clueless. I loved what Collaros did for us, I really do, and if he ends ups back here next year I wouldn't shed a tear. However, one has to acknowledge that it would be a massive gamble on our season.

  32. Well, nice to see that the Grey Cup win has stopped the 29 years of pent up over-reactionary bickering around here. I'm not a mod, but if I were this thread would have been locked pages ago for all the pointless back and forth. So I'll just keep my opinions about the merits of the QBs (well known to most I'm sure) to myself at this time and offer a few quotes that either side of the debate can throw out if they feel the need to bash the other side for their counter-opinion. 1. "There are lies, there are damn lies, and then there are statistics" - Mark Twain 2. "Facts are stubborn things, but statistics are much more pliable" - Mark Twain 3. "No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot" - Mark Twain 4. "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience" - Mark Twain

I don't get this argument as people flip flop and waver...some say "look how many play-off wins he has"...not looking at the craptcular defensive performance in the losses and it's all on him...other side say he won one..and only cause the defense....some say he was reason we won. Last 4 years has the best winning percentage save for BLM...But it's all because the defense many will say....yet even though he has been top of league those years in offensive points produced (excluding ST and Defensive scores) as well as being T.O.P winner in games more times than not ...how does the defense factor in with that? Many forget for a good portion of those wins, he had to put up 30+ points to get those wins as the "defense" was giving up 30+ a game...a lot! And many a game was lost when we scored 30+ points..I guess that because Nichols sucks and we can't win with him but in spite of him?? Many be,oan that we stalled and had to settle for a FG...well those 3 points each time count, and are a reullt of the QB getting the team in a position to score them...and the wins that resulted came because the opponent's QB failed to do so...Again I guess it's all on the defense for those wins eh? You can twist and contort stats..wins..losses...whatever you wish all you want but fact of tha matter since 2016 ol Matt Nichols..Game Manager has managed to get us the most wins of any team next to CGY and last time I checked it was a team game and a team is only as good as it's collective parts... Reilly and BLM are obviously top tier but their grip there isn't iron clad...Next tier has to be fancy Stats Harris, Nichols, Masoli and Collaros..similar results will be achieved in different ways...pick your poison I guess in how you want to achieve them, tho not sold 100 percent on Collaros "health" yet and think we dodged a bullet and kept him clean...hopefully I am wrong, but concussion problems don't go away after time..once your in that dance, you never leave it and why I would steer away from him. Evan's isn't in the next tier yet..as was super evident in the Grey Cup but has upside, tho needs an attitude makeover to get there..wouldn't want that pouter as my field general..when going got tough..he checked out Arbuckle and Strev are at the cusp and both guys who teams should be priority signing and grooming, as they will be a teams future...they just need to marinade a bit more before being the defacto starter, and I think Adams is there now, and ready to be lumped in the top...he's paid his dues...been around and is finally in a good spot...for him The rest are just a middling group of you get what you see...you'll get a game here or there to make you go "wow" but for most part are what they are and that's it...back-up's and emergency starter but not a guy to hitch your wagon to

  44. Hey guys - just returned to Base camp after spending the last two weeks climbing Everest. My Sherpa just handed me his phone and I haven't had time to look at the results yet, but I just wanted to say that it was another great effort this year, good to see the guys fight, and I know while we came up short yet again, I believe in the team, in O'Shea, Lapo, Hall etc. and I think all the ingredients are there, and if Kyle can have another great draft we're definitely going to be in the fight again and have a chance next year to end the drought etc.....wait what's that Lapsang??? Hold on, he's trying to tell me something.... What??? We won???? We won????????????? Ok, I'm just going to need a moment.... Time to get back to Canada!
