  2. I read dumb things on this site a lot, but suggesting we move on from Wilson is about as dumb as it gets.

  6. I didn't think I'd ever see tandem tackles as good as Walby/Gorrell ever again in our lifetime.....but Yoshi/Stan, when healthy and at their best, might be every bit as good..... (and if you know my love for Bluto, that's a big statement from me....)

  10. Kinda off topic. But just watched the Top 10 defensive plays of the year on CFL.ca Bombers are featured in 5 of them! https://www.cfl.ca/2019/12/13/top-10-defensive-plays-of-2019/

  15. Bombers offensive line is going to be dominant again. Bryant will be back IMO. Our young core of Canadians Speller, Gray, Eli, Desjarlais are only going to be better.

  16. And once Bryant is locked up, Zach will be knocking at Walters office begging to re-sign him.

  21. Oh my. Opinions can most certainly be wrong. Love that we seem to be living in a post-fact world. Let me give you a couple of examples: You can have an opinion that the world is flat. Your opinion would be wrong. You can have an opinion that vaccinations are inherently dangerous. Your opinion would be wrong. Opinions that are based on measurables/stats/evidence can be wrong.

  22. Rian was the worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars. Actually maybe not. He can’t be blamed for his boss allowing him to smirk his way through a **** measuring contest with JJ. Kennedy takes the blame. JJ should have tasted with planning the entire trilogy from the start (which he did to a degree) and if he didn’t want to direct, they should have at least maintained his vision. It always seemed to me Rian was playing a game of oneupsmanship, trying to screw the plan. he literally screwed every character and plot from TFA. And laid down nothing new. And then ended the film without any real jeopardy. Compared to how Empire ended with the heroes essentially defeated physically and emotionally. Don’t get me started!!! Lol

    Did You Know..

Did You Know.. (according to David William Naylor) The Baltimore Ravens have the NFL’s best record, first in rushing, and 26th in passing stats. Sound familiar? The Winnipeg Blue Bombers won the Grey Cup while being first in rushing and last in passing. The Ravens are an exciting team to watch...like the Bombers.

Did You Know... 👁‍🗨 that #1990 - is now a Vestige - (a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists.) 👁‍🗨 Strange, that I look to two plays involving 2 point conversions as fond memories, and they both involve Calgary. Firstly, Janarion Grant’s brilliant run back return for 2 points in a 29-28 Bomber win. And, The safety we nailed Mitchell with, early 2nd Q, semi-final Calgary. Kind of feel like it set the tone. 👁‍🗨 Remind me. How great is a CFL record 16 knockdowns by a defensive lineman? 👁‍🗨 LaPolice will soon learn that having a Rideau Hall is not the same as having a Ritchie Hall. 👁‍🗨 Yeah, I don’t even care about Christmas this year, I already got the cup I wanted. Besides, if I talk about the season too much someone’s liable to start calling it Big Christmas. 👁‍🗨 Contrary to popular belief, Coach LaPolice did not fly directly to Ottawa for his signing announcement, he went for shorter, safer routes, Sudbury, Kingston, that sort of thing. Nobody knows why Medlock accompanied him...

One of my hilarious memories involving Flutie was during the Reinbolde era. He had just put up some ridiculous passing numbers against the Bombers - something like 85% completion and 400+ passing yards, without even playing in the 4th quarter. Post - Game show: Bob Irving: Jeff, would you say Doug Flutie played an outstanding game against your defense? Jeff Reinbolde: no he didn't Bob - there were over 56 missed assignments!

  29. A lot of this is on Lapo... in the Sask game, he abandoned Harris and keyed his run game on Streveler - Sask knew what was coming In the Grey Cup, Harris was a multiple level threat through the whole game and completely opened things up for Streveler

  30. Depending on Nichols play when he returns from injury - if he's back to the form that he was in the first 5 games of the 2019 season.. then yeah hands down better than BLM. That's not even close

His speed and range were incredible. I think he would have done better up here then Ray Lewis. Yes soo much. Gl stoping Clowney too. Maybe the most unstoppable would be the athletic tes though. Big strong fast vs Sam and DBS 30-40 lbs lighter it'd be Mike sellers gone wild.

  32. well, it's Colin.......... I mean, don't get me wrong...I like me some Jessie Briggs.......but the drop off from Wilson to Briggs is ridiculous. Laughable.

  33. totally agree...I actually think he hasn't been exactly the same for a couple years now. But let's say he's at 80% at his best these days........CoFaj still not even worthy of carrying BLM's jock strap. They're not even on the same level....in fact, I'd say multiple levels apart...

    2019-20 CFL Offseason

He was on 1290 this afternoon and did not say this. He said that he was lucky to come into Calgary with an already established BLM. He did say that BLM won his first MOP while working under himself though. He said he was humbled coming to Calgary because he thought he knew so much but after spending time with DD and Huff that he grew and continually is learning. Dinwiddie came off ok on the radio interview but yikes he may be facing an impossible challenge. He basically said that he isn't familiar with the coaching staff and the players on the team and that his plan is to bring exciting football (on the offense) to help bring the Argos fans out to the games. Sounds like he's coming in blind and will evaluate and make decisions once he looks at the staff and the players. He desperately will need Claybrooks or someone else to help carry the load for the team.

    2020 CFL Draft

At this point, he should be long gone by the 9th pick rolls around (assuming we still have that pick). That being said, its the CFL draft so who knows what will happen... there usually seems to be some last minute additions to the draft that can rearrange the rankings.

    2019 GREY CUP CHAMPIONS!!!

👁‍🗨You may ask how the Canadian Mafia pulled this Championship off... "We respect each other’s roles and we’ve figured out a way to keep evolving in how we work together to make sure that we can add the ‘S’ onto this championship." 📝 bit.ly/34iPuZN #ForTheW And this is what we witnessed, isn’t it?

  45. Man I always loves Booch's analysis of stuff, half of it goes right over my head but it's always a good read! As for Jefferson and others trying out for NFL teams this time of year... it's really all upside for them, no? I mean, short of getting injured, they get to continue playing/developing/learning, likely play somewhere warmer (like Miami) and at the end of the day, hopefully, get paid to play the game they love. Not only that, if any of them do get cut, most of them know they can come back to the CFL, especially big name guys like Jefferson, which adds a bit of stability and predictability to their employment prospects. Which, to my understanding is a rare (and valued) commodity in professional sports

  46. Y'know, they mentioned this to the guy that does the engraving, and he said that's happened a couple of years before, most recently in 2016 with the Redblacks. Never seems to be enough room to add that asterisk though... Oh, also this year they're omitting "Consolation prize - Hamilton Ti-Cats, best record in franchise history" as well. Guess they'll be traditionalists and just put 2019 - WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS. Maybe Banks can get his MOP trophy modified?

  47. what game you talking about? If the WF yeah they stuffed us often, mainly because of Lapo's piss poor game callingt hat game...we won despite it if you ask me...he atoned for it in the Grey Cup, but his use of Strev and the lack of Hrris in the WF was for the lack of a better term...stupid

  48. Even the toothless weirdo Rider fans that filled that toilet bowl couldn't over come the force that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers were in the 2019 Grey Cup Playoffs. They think they are the best fans in the CFL but in reality everyone else on earth that knows CFL ball knows who the best fans are. They show it loud and proud every game at home at IGF. The home of the loudest fans in the CFL. There are two kinds of people in this world, Championship winners like us Bomber fans and POS losers like those Sackstenchewan Riders fans.
