Nichols' QB efficiency vs. CGY in week 9 was 100.2 (in a win), while Streveler's in week 19 @ CGY was 59.2 (in a loss). Not sure what the panic would be for Nichols. Unless someone pays him starter money, he should wait for June/July. He will have lots of time to prove he is 100% and someone will break the bank for him to come in and save their season. Starting QB's will go down and someone will get anxious. He will be offered a 2 or 3 year deal (to get the signing bonus under the cap) and be paid good money. Last summer Kevin Glenn was fielding multiple offers to get off the couch. The Bombers were looking for him and Drew Willy. Nichols just needs patience.

Walters can let everyone blow their load in FA, then trade for everyone's first few draft picks cheap because they don't have cash to carry them.

One of them was wearing cowboy boots. In Hawaii. Yikes. Finally after politely listening to an analysis on concussions and why Collaros sucks I just suddenly said loudly "my eyes!!! My eyes!! I'm blinded!! The Grey Cup, it's so shiny!!!!" And I walked away. Ahhh yeah....

The year the Bombers lost the semi final to the lions at the stadium with Nichols as QB, if they hadhalf the defence they had for the last part of this season, the Bombers would have demolished the lions. (nice sentence! ) NIchols played really well in that game, and deserved a win, the defence absolutely stunk, five Bombers missed tackles on a fifteen yard run for a TD in that game, just awful defence. Crapping on Nichols is dumb.

If I'm Walters I also remind Willie how many guys are being released by T.O. just before their bonuses are due & how much extra money he stands to make from the playoffs with us. Just some extra food for thought when he's weighing his options.

We have a ton of cap to spend, I’d be prepared to be the top offer for Willie if I’m Walters. we have to spend our cash somewhere, it may as well be on him. No top $$$ QB, no big money receiver, no first round pick to pay this year, no big money in our secondary. We have a lot of cash to throw around.

would love to see this compared with other QBs and offences. It seems so weird for a CFL offence to throw nothing deeper than 15 yards in the middle of the field. wonder if this is just data illustrating the constant gripe that the 2019 bombers had no midrange passing attack, everything was either a dump play or a bomb. also wonder if this is a turnover minimization strategy, if you never throw into the middle of the defence then there are fewer defenders around to pick the ball off. Look where the two picks happened; in a crowded area of the field.

What I learned from watching this game is that the Grey Cup was more entertaining and I appreciate how focused our Blue were compared to the 49ers. After the 2nd interception the 49er players were posing in the end zone and "acting" up and at that point I realized they were going to lose. Totally unfocused, the coaches kept getting overly emotional whenever a call didn't go the way they wanted. Made me appreciate how good of a job O'Shea has done with this club.
