  1. Great player, needed some time to develop, now definitely a top tier talent that needs an opportunity. At worst a quality back up that can play multiple positions if asked to do it on a short term. Very happy with this signing. How did I do?

yup. This is why people like Zontar are invaluable to the Trump movement -- they take whatever spicy semitruth the Trumpist goons are pushing today and reblog it endlessly as if it's true. That's why you don't see the dude engage on anything substantively. He's not here to debate or to educate, he's here just to make noise.

Rider fans at 9am "Hope we re sign Micha" "We need Micha back" "Micha is the keystone to our D" "Mich is the best DE in the league" "All hail Micha" Rider fans at 9pm "We didnt want Micha back" "Micha would have cost us to much money" "Micha is old and slow" "We are stacked at DE and have tons of young talent" "BC paid out the wazoo for Micha" "Glad O'day stuck to his guns and didnt over pay"

Yeah... But the other side of that. Hard to imagine a more poorly coached season than what we had to suffer last season. IDK if Dinwiddie is a top tier or even mid tier head coach... But mere competence will look a quantum leap forward by comparison.

I honestly feel like the mental gymnastics those posters go through are just on a whole other level. Literally incapable of processing a thought other than “Riders amazing, Bombers bad” and it’s just so dumbfounding. I read comments about how we tied so much money up in Jefferson/Collaros ... as if that’s a bad thing. Should we not sign our best players? It’s like sometimes they forget you can pay players six figures without it being a crippling cap move. The average active roster salary is six figures for crying out loud. I feel bad for the few that CAN generate an intelligent thought who are stuck there in that cesspool. Like give me a break, I know fans are all homers to some degree but most of the people here are at least capable of appreciating a good move even for the Riders (Shaq Evans, as an example) but Jesus are they dense over there.

It’s a weird cult mentality. So many people want to be in the know with alleged “insider” Rider_Stronson that they just start to emulate his personality in hopes that they’ll be noticed and allowed to sit at the cool kids table. RDavidson is one of the worst, he loves to play some kind of pseudo-insider role as if he knows anything about anything, when in reality he just likes to shove his nose as far up BSD and R_S’ asses as possible. I’ve posted on message boards online for various hobbies and interests for over 15 years and the only time I’ve ever encountered somebody less stable than the crew over there was when I had to deal with Nate.

  17. First of all, it looks like you are quoting a completely different article to defend the graph you posted. Not sure if that's intentional, but it's misleading just the same. Now lets see what one of the researchers (John Turner) actually said about the study you are quoting here: "In the second half of the 20th century, “the place that’s warmed the most was the Antarctic Peninsula,” said John Turner, a researcher with the British Antarctic Survey. “It’s a real hotspot of warming across the Earth.” Now, however, Turner and a team of fellow scientists with the survey are out with a rather unexpected new finding in the journal Nature — one likely to be seized on by climate change skeptics, doubters and deniers. Since about 1998, the research finds, the Antarctic Peninsula has reversed this famous trend and cooled down again, and done so fairly significantly. Yet Turner stresses this doesn’t mean climate change isn’t happening — only that natural variability in the region is quite large, and has recently kicked into gear for rather complex reasons. “This switch from a very very marked warming to a modest cooling is purely a local factor, and not saying anything like ‘global warming has stopped,’ ” Turner said. Indeed, the Antarctic Peninsula has still warmed in the long run, said Eric Steig, an Antarctic researcher at the University of Washington, Seattle — whose comment on the study accompanies its publication in Nature on Wednesday. Two decades of reversal aren’t enough to change that. So it’s important to keep a sense of perspective. “It hasn’t cooled nearly as much as it had warmed before,” Steig said." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2016/07/20/the-antarctic-peninsula-is-cooling-but-climate-skeptics-shouldnt-get-too-excited/

  23. I saw that it's official. Nevis to the Argos.... was really hoping they'd reconsider and bring him back. I think he will be greatly missed this year. Could really change how our D operates. Him and Bryant are the two guys that I think of when I think of the start of the turn around for this Franchise.

  24. I can’t see Josh Johnson making less than 100k. Despite him not being known to us as a familiar name guy, he’s a big ticket player ... veteran who’s spent time in the NFL and played well in the CFL. I think most of us would be uncomfortable with what he’s getting paid. Harris being a value for what he provides still doesn’t discount that he’s making over 200k. We have two of the five most expensive defensive players in the league, including the most expensive. Our OL has to be the highest paid in the league. I do agree we have money, but we’ve spent in a lot of places people forget about.

Bernie is only left compared to the extreme right republicans. His positions would fit nicely in a global perspective and are quite honestly needed in the us. They has gone so far right no one can see them. People who aren't the zealots on the right will support that. It's the 1% who are shitting themselves at the thought of Sanders not your average voter.

  27. So a guy who was cut in the Argos camp last year and ended the year on B.C.'s practice roster, who has not played in a game since 2018 is a quality signing? Does Saskatchewan use a different dictionary than the rest of the world?

You wanna talk 180's...yesterday the day started with them brutally slagging Solomon Elimimian suggesting he was too old and probably lost a step and praising Larry Dean for being the suprerior MLB that they should sign. By the end of the day Sol E had regained his position as best MLBer in the CFL and Hamilton way overpaying Larry Dean. It's just absolutely comical.

    Who should coach the Jets?

And I agree to an extent; however, these are professional players that are capable of following a system. They look lost and that's on the coaching staff. A player of lesser skill and ability will get beat, will not be able to keep up, etc., but they shouldn't be way out of position and confused when they get the puck. Thankfully, Helle has been Vezina calibre this year.

What a mess that country is. It's already so much worse than anyone could have imagined. But, when a minority voters get their racist crook into power, this is what you get. White power and swamp. Not surprising some people embrace it.

  39. I mean ... they could do a proper rebuild. This just seems silly though. Unless their scouts can find an entirely brand new wealth of depth. Giving almost a million dollars away for the combination of Matt Nichols, TJ Jones and Davaris Daniels is ridiculous.

with what we have currently we could almost field a full B Team O-line with our back-ups that would be more than adequate..and rival the lines of some teams..a inside combo of Speller/Eli/Gray is almost better than some...and with upside to boot
