2019-20 CFL Offseason

An excerpt from one of his ads: "House has three bedrooms, all the good houses have four at least. Near a school and shopping so traffic is going to be an issue. New furnace, but you know it'll break down at some point. Grass needs constant mowing except in the winter and then you have to shovel snow. You know what, never mind, it's too much effort to show it."8 points -

I don't even read Tburgess long posts anymore...summed up..."Bombers better be careful they don't suck" or "You fans are talking about the positive aspects of this team more often then the negative so you must be blind to the potential of a horrible season!" How far off am I?5 points -

This is just TBurgess trying to be the contrarian and the cool kid. It's his shtick. He's just never had to do it after a Grey Cup win, so he's... struggling a bit to make it work.4 points -

There's nothing ironic about your posts. They're just depressing. It must've been fun to watch the GC around you. "Sure, they won... But they didn't even score 40 points and allowed the Ti-Cats to score a TD."4 points -

Ill say it. I'd rather be like a rider fan then a dude who just shits all over the team constantly. Honestly, im not sure TBurg is a bomber fan. It sure doesn't seem like it EVER. Negativity? After a Grey Cup win? GTFO4 points -
Folks around here are assuming that we're going to see the defence that played the last 4 or 5 games this year, rather than the one that showed up for the rest of the season. This is after losing 2 great DB's, who were the strength of the D and half the D line that allowed the DB's to cover tight for very short periods of time and not worry about the deep ball because it took too much time. Folks are also assuming that Buck will be as good or better than PLAP. He'll do all the good things AND change things so the receivers will be able to get open deep AND open up the playbook AND make all the right decisions when we're ahead or behind. Collaros will play most of the games and the raw McGuire will have no problems coming in and playing when he has to. Heck, he'll be better than Streveler. The ironic part is no one sees themselves being just like Rider fans.4 points

I’m not as opposed, as some, to bloggers, new writers, opinion givers, or even media writers. It’s not an easy task. Some get get it right, and some wrong. That’s when we can have fun roasting. A lot of it is opinion and if you don’t like it...move on. I like to read all information that’s put out there involving the CFL, especially now in the down times. I can read it and decide for myself what’s relevant...just like in high school. Ha!4 points

More like the buffalo defecation. This RedNexit garbage needs to end. It's always the losers who whine about the system being broken. Weird how everything seemed fine prior to Oct. 2015... And no, Michelle, what's irresponsible is to make up a narrative that doesn't exist it and then pass it off as fact in some attempt to bolster your blind, delusional supporters who lack not only the ability to think rationally but to look inward and see what needs to change. This claim Ottawa is responsible for the west's hardships is utter bullshit. Not surprising to see she's no better than her scummy counterpart currently running Alberta, pointing fingers and lying through teeth while conveniently ignoring facts. Her track record speaks for itself. At least she's got "good" hair, though.3 points -

Posted this in the global warming thread but this is the more appropriate location. Michelle Rempel Garner has drawn a line in the sand with "The Buffalo Declaration". https://buffalodeclaration.com/ If you actually read this document it comes off as if it was written by a table full of disgruntled farmers sitting in a coffee shop bitching endlessly about every perceived grievance Alberta has ever had against Canada, whether based on reality, fact, or not. It's nothing but emotional garbage, surprised 4 MP's actually put their signatures on it.3 points -

Yeah, it's not the new brushes (they all have to use the exact same ones now) but the new WAY of brushing. It's called "Directional Sweeping", and it really does work. They can actually sweep it to curl more OR less, depending on what they need.3 points

My guess..... price of oil is too low to make money. Otherwise they would proceed with it. but when the head of Goldman Sachs is issuing warnings about oil business risks, and says that business is now done, these investments no longer make financial sense. These financial warnings are coming from many of the largest banks and institutional heads. Just not from Petro states like Russia and Alberta. glad that the NDP lost in alta, had they won, this would of course be their fault.3 points -
I have no problem if the media calls Hamilton a super team. They have great players, great coaching and made a lot of good moves in the off season. What I have an issue with is when Taylor claims that the Riders are a super team despite them losing a lot of good players and doing nothing to replace them. Signing Maas was a good move but nobody outside of Taylor thinks that the crap they signed will make them a better team this season.3 points

Booch, what time is Walker signing with us tomorrow? 😀3 points

Hamilton? Real good team? Sure, hell they went 16-4 last season and should cruise in the East this time. But the games are still decided on the field and in the trenches, as the Cats found out in the Cup game.3 points

the defence though for the most part of the season was one of the statistical leaders, and had given up the least, or 2nd least amount of points for most of the year...and once they tweaked tings the final quarter were lights out..so yeah..pretty sure they can be just as good in spite of Rose and Sayles departure2 points

Looks like Teck threw in the towel on their application to build a massive oilsands project in northern Alberta before it could be rejected. Teck withdraws application for Frontier oilsands mine, citing debate around climate policy Teck Resources has officially withdrawn its application to build the $20-billion Frontier oilsands mine, just days before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was expected to issue a ruling on the contentious project. In a letter to Trudeau published late Sunday, Teck chief executive Don Lindsay said the company made the decision as protests against a separate pipeline project stretch into their second week, blocking rail lines across the country and occupying public spaces. Lindsay said the Frontier project put his company “squarely at the nexus” of much deeper-lying tensions in Canada between natural resource extraction and First Nation land claims. https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/teck-frontier-mine-alberta-oilsands In unrelated news Michelle Rempel Garner has drawn a line in the sand with "The Buffalo Declaration". https://buffalodeclaration.com/ In related news Jason Kenney does not endorse this declaration, but continues to issue vicious threats...wink wink....nod nod....quack quack. https://nationalpost.com/news/manifesto-underscores-the-depth-of-frustration-in-alberta-says-premier-jason-kenney?video_autoplay=true2 points -
