I did some digging and it turns out that the winner is determined by total points scored, regardless whether the points are through touchdowns, field goals or rouges. So yea, 18 points is 18 points.

Just watching the Grey Cup again on TSN I got to say this if they plan on winning more grey cup games they can’t rely on 6 field goals.

Alex Jones (he of Infowars) and disgraced evangelist Jimmy Bakker have both been advertising "cures" for the COVID19 illness and have been warned to stop immediately or face criminal prosecution.

In my line of work if I take over a job from someone, I stick with what they were doing until I have a good understanding of it, then I change things to suit my style or where I think there's room for improvement. Sometimes it stays similiar, sometimes everything changes. That's what I expect from Buck, he should already understand the system and what he feels works and doesn't work, so I expect him to change things to suit his style. His style as a QB was never to cowardly check down every play, I suspect that won't be his style as an OC. It really comes down to what Buck thinks will improve the offense. If he thinks more aggressive playcalling will do that, then I expect that's what we'll see. While I don't like Lapo as a coach because I don't like his playcalling, I do respect his playbook and knowledge. He designs some very nice plays. So I hope we keep a lot of the playbook, and just utilize it different in how we call the game.

Google was surprised to learn that they were creating a website to provide info on Covid-19. Despite the President's lie, they are NOT creating a website.

So a new claim going around on Twitter is that Trump rejected the WHO testing kits so that they could be privatized. Fisher is being touted as the new private company manufacturing the tests and Trump supposedly has stock in that company. Another aspect is that with private testing, an FOIA request cannot be made to disclose the number of tests performed and the number of positive results, which could then underreport the real numbers of those affected. Now I have no proof of this claim so I’d like confirm or refute it with evidence, so I invite all those who know to offer evidence for or against it. I do note one key aspect of the Trump presser yesterday was the presence of businessmen from Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and Google involved with the battle against the virus and them being invited to speak as opposed to hordes of medical scientists.

I saw some clips and he definitely gives the impression that he's sick. ******* arrogant ******* gonna infect a bunch more people because of his idiocy. You can't bullshit a pandemic away and trying to is only going to make things worse. Best course of action is be upfront about everything and give people good solid information they can use. Well said. All I'm saying is that the flu is not to be underestimated for it's ability to kill and this bug looks to be one of the worst. I'm all for washing of hands and quarantines. I don't even want a milder flu-type bug. The thing is, it's news, and it's being hyped up pretty good with predictable results. It's not like we haven't seen this sort of thing before and it never seems to justify the hype.

Wuhan Province has 60 million people and was isolated... there were only 80,000 cases Outside of China, the mortality rate is around .5%... the initial rate was high because of smog and chain smoking led to a higher percentage of pre-existing respiratory problems... I'd be surprised if in a week or two - with more testing - that the percentage doesn't end up close to that of the flu
