Just as a matter of caution, I think that visitors from Saskatchewan should be required to pass through a trough of sheep dip at the Manitoba border. It wouldn't stop the Coronavirus, but I just like the idea of de-lousing them.6 points -

From pre-season and practices, and minimal game action last year he is the best pocket passer we had....and have had in a while, and he also can get out of troubles way and run a bit as well...not Strevleresque but more than adequate From what I observed he had the best pocket presence and looked most comfortable and confident standing in there going through his reads, and with this o-line that could be a lethal combo as he has no jitters and yips and will allow things to fully develop...will be interesting to see how and if he develops...and by all acounts has the smarts upstairs too. As I commented before, he has the best arm and ability to make any throw that I have seen come through camp here in a long time4 points -
Feeling a bit sad today. I have a Google device on my desk that cycles through family pics, mostly of my kids. So many of the pics are of my kids at the stadium, watching games and participating in different events. It's seems small but a year missed of making more of those memories really stings today. Stay healthy everyone!4 points

I highly doubt there's a cut out there that makes that movie any better.4 points

aside from shelving and computer related tasks, there's wiping down books that have been returned, I was just on the phone with my supervisor and I had said at least an upside to this quarantine is that the kids have time to clean their rooms and see if they have located any overdue books (and when I was in on Wednesday there were so many books that got returned)3 points

Sean McGuire “I want to get back up there and prove myself, for sure. But, more than anything, I’m just chomping at the bit to get back to my teammates and just do my job. I’m going to continue to try and learn from Zach. Last year down the stretch learning from him was unbelievable and our relationship grew a lot. I learned so much from him in a short period of time and even in these Zoom meetings, just being able to pick his brain and hear him communicate and how he dissects things on the field has made me absolutely excited to get back and continue to prove myself to my teammates. I want to continue to earn trust in the locker room with my teammates, that comes first.“All I can do – all everyone can do – is just wait this thing out.”https://www.bluebombers.com/2020/05/23/column-story-sean-mcguire/3 points -

I thought the brawling was good change up. AEW has been known for the high spots but those tough physical matches were good to see. A lot of the card was grudge matches so it went along with the story line. Fantastic PPV. Watched with my sister and brother and law and they were saying how it felt like a PPV despite the no fans unlike the the two WWE had done. Stadium Stampede had everything you wanted out of a match with those two factions. Jericho by the time he is done with AEW might go down as the best to ever do it. At 50 he knows his limitations and plays to them. His mind to get things over is just unbelievable.2 points -

I'd be more concerned about the latter simply due to proximity; fortunately, the Canada-US border remains closed and will remain closed for some time. With Ontario, the NW region our province borders is so sparsely populated from the provincial border pretty much to Sault Ste. Marie, with Thunder Bay being the largest urban area within that region. Relatively speaking, Manitoba is very far away from Ontario's hot zone. So, all that said, neither should be necessarily worrying to Manitobans at this juncture of the pandemic.2 points -

A tale of 2 leatherback sea turtles tagged off Nova Scotia Good luck, persistence and international co-operation has delivered a rare trove of data from two endangered leatherback turtles tagged off Nova Scotia last summer. The turtles, Ruby and Isabel, were carrying a tracking transmitter and a device that stored a huge cache of precise GPS locations accumulated during their 12,000-kilometre migration from Canada to Trinidad, off South America. This month, when the nesting leatherbacks crawled ashore on separate beaches, researchers and volunteers on the island managed to intercept them, retrieve their tags and 10 months of stored data. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/a-tale-of-2-leatherback-sea-turtles-tagged-off-nova-scotia-1.55801971 point

Enjoyed the show overall. Thought there was maybe a bit too much brawling and that it lacked some of the variety that other AEW PPVs have had. Ladder match was pretty good. I like the idea of a ladder match/royal rumble mashup that they use. Brian Cage will be a good addition I think. Massive body obviously, he can move good and some people I respect have good things to say about him as a person. Interested to see where it goes. MJF vs Jungle Boy was the best pure wrestling match on the show. Old school ****, very good stuff. If I ever attend an AEW show, I will run the risk of getting booted from the venue because the urge to slap MJF will be crazy high. Statlander vs Ford was fine but didn't have anything behind it so it was sort of filler. Basically a Dynamite match that got thrown on PPV. Dustin Rhodes vs Shawn Spears was tough to call a match, but it was a fun segment. Showed that Rhodes isn't done and I don't think it hurt Spears at all. In fact, I think it went a long way in establishing his personality. The last few weeks he seems to be getting better and better on camera with more of that personality coming through. More please. I thought Cody vs Archer was a bit clunky. Not sold on Archer in ring and I don't think Cody is the type that can have a great match with anyone. With the right opponent, you can get the best match on the card out of Cody but with others, I feel like his matches fall a bit flat. I liked Shida vs Rose. Didn't expect the title to change hands so quickly but I'm happy to see Shida win, she's definitely the most talented wrestler on then AEW women's roster and the crowd loves her. Mox vs Brodie Lee was a good brawl with some brutal looking moments. Brodie seemed a bit gassed towards the end. Moxley is simply the best performer in North American wrestling right now. He's exactly what I was hoping he'd be in AEW. Finally, the Stadium Stampede. Holy ****. That was something else. Watched it a second time last night and there are so many hidden gags in the background. The minds of Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy working together on matches like these is an exciting prospect. Favourite moment? Kenny getting irish whipped into the backstage area like it was one of the old Smackdown games.1 point -

But some of the bad movies are so, so bad that they are unintentionally hilarious. When I was in the hospital recovering from abdominal surgery, I rented a small TV. That evening, a real honest-to-God spaghetti western was shown and it was so bad that I could not stop myself from laughing but was afraid I would pop my stitches. My "laughter" consisted of snorts and gasps to the point where a nurse felt compelled to come check on me.1 point
