Before mocking Trump any further..... we need to seriously take a moment.... to both consider and account for.... any of Donald's possible redeeming values, as a human being..... Ok, moment has passed. Resume the mockery...5 points -

In a normal world this mocking of a human being would be unacceptable. We do not live in a normal world right now. Full court press till November, no mercy.4 points -

I'm sure someone will do a snopes check on this and could find it's not true. But simply having to do this check because it's so damn believable really tells the story of who makes up the majority of Trump's base.1 point -

When was that? The Garbage Oldboys Party has been devoid of anything but corruption, coddling the 1%, and trampling on people's rights for decades unless they're privileged, rich, straight, white Christians hell bent on defending mUh LiBeRtIeS.1 point -

I will fully admit that there is a healthy dose of schadenfreude in me right now, and it is not a good trait to have. And Trump does get jumped on for a lot of things that others would get a pass on. But then I see that he has really dug his own grave here. Constantly boasting, lying, manipulating, he is the true boy who cried wolf, so no one will believe anything he says which may be true at this point if they don’t like him. He picked a fight with the media the day he first screamed “fake news” in his press briefing, and you never win in a pissing contest with them. They will always get the last word, and have a bigger platform from which to chirp. And Trump has lived his Presidency like it was one big reality show, and he has made himself the star. Except this is real life, with real consequences and real victims, of Coronavirus, of systemic racism, of police brutality, of xenophobic immigration policies that lead to kids in cages, the list goes on. So his role in this reality show then becomes that of the villain, and everyone wants the villain to get his comeuppance. He wants the glory, he should expect to take the lumps, especially when that magic brand of ignorance and arrogance collide in a spectacular failure of his own making. Given how miserable this year has been, seeing the architect of a lot of that misery fall hard and see some of that misery come back at him made today one of the more enjoyable ones I have had in a while. Makes me wonder how good election night could feel if things go the way I hope they do.1 point -

Bombers recruiting Derel Walker
Tracker reacted to SpeedFlex27 for a topic
Apparently, Walker made $250,000 with the Argos last year & expects even more this season. BC Lions paid Lamar Durant $200,000 last season. No wonder these teams lose multi millions of dollars. These GMs are so financially irresponsible. Mike Reilly still hasn't volunteered to take a paycut like Mitchell did in Calgary.1 point -

2019-20 CFL Offseason
Bigblue204 reacted to DR. CFL for a topic
Tampa Bay Lighting had to close down their a Phase 2 start up due to multiple players and staff testing positive. The notion that pro sports are going to be able to operate is very suspect. Initiating any start up, and the expense associated with it only to have to shut it down maybe simply a waste of money at this point in time. This has to put up red flags.1 point -

Bigblue204 reacted to Blueandgold for a topic
I'm hopeful for the 2020 season but I'm confident the league will survive. I agree the government can't allow the CFL to fold.1 point -
I rewatched the ep last night and they didn't even mention Abadon during the coming up next screen, they just said "Anna Jay in action." Really really underplayed Abadon. Nice job, especially after watching AEW Dark this week where most of the matches were foregone conclusions. MJF vs. that guy who looks like a tall blonde Henry Rollins was a good match too. Always like seeing Aubrey put the boot to someone, 1000x more when it's MJF.1 point

Training Camp Memories
bearpants reacted to Pickle Rick for a topic
Back when the Bombers held training camp in Brandon, I wrote to Cal Murphy begging him to let me help out (Would've been '94 or '95?) I was 11 or 12. It was the thrill of a lifetime, the team let me essentially be the "water boy," I got to miss school, ride my bike over to Kinsmen 'stadium' and hang around my heroes for a few weeks. I got a lot of pics of that time with Cal, Dunigan, Wilcox, Walby and the boys. What a time! I was also there for Reinebold's first training camp in Portage. I have nothing but fond memories literally everyone in the organization treated me extremely well and I'd get a practice used J5V at the end of each camp lol.1 point -
