So you're saying that the higher test count is the primary reason why Alberta has about 10x the case total despite only being about 3x bigger population-wise? Seems I've heard that argument somewhere before...

  9. With the passing of Labour Day and the re-living of past memories, it's time to discuss those that are burned into our brains forever above all others. And since Labour Day had has historically brought its share of pain, I though it would be cathartic to let out some of that anguish. At the same time, we are still the defending Grey Cup champions, so let us revel as well in our greatest celebrations. What are the top 3 worst memories you have as a Bomber fan? And then the 3 best? Be specific, not just "every loss to the 'Riders is tied for worst" and "every Grey Cup is tied for the best". Weave a story, remember, your on line teacher will be grading. Is it a specific game? A trade? A chance meeting with your football hero? And to keep it from getting too dark, let us all concede that the tragic death of Richard Harris will surpass any game-related "worst memory" and need not be added to the list here.

Was it really necessary? “The explosion in cases, the study from the Germany-based IZA Institute of Labor Economics finds, is expected to reach $12 billion in public health costs.”

Love how you have changed the narrative to make Hutterite colonies out like innocent victims - been watching the pivot for a while there were clusters on Hutterite colonies - this is just a simple fact - like all the rest of us - you are affected by Manitoba and Canada creating extreme and generalized rules to protect the masses - there is no ‘scapegoat’ just stop it already hutterite and the maple leaf foods cluster (originating with a group of middle management) are over - that’s why cases are falling rapidly as always the prairies remain almost free of covid with an occasional cluster - everything that was expected

While 29 new cases is still more than we’d like to see, it’s also worth mentioning that active cases (now 409) and the five day test postivity rate (1.2%) are both trending in the right direction.

Very very excited to try some new brews the next couple weeks. We're going to take a couple days and uber around to a bunch of new breweries. We got a case of Fort Garry Dark (old reliable) for the cabin and it didn't last the first night haha. The MB Brewers Pack is next up for the next couple days....

Women face incitement of hatred charges after Black man attacked in Brandon 2 women in custody, police searching for 3 other people CBC News · Posted: Sep 04, 2020 8:06 AM CT | Last Updated: 3 hours ago Two women face what police believe are the first charges of public incitement of hatred in Brandon, Man. Officers were called to a downtown skate park — the Kristopher Campbell Memorial Skate Plaza at Ninth Street and Princess Avenue — around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, where a group of five people was allegedly yelling racial slurs at a Black man. The man tried to leave to avoid a confrontation, but the group blocked him and then attacked him, police said. It started as a physical fight and ended with the man being stabbed five times, Staff Sgt. Brian Partridge said. The man is in hospital, believed to be in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery. Two women from the group are in police custody and expected to be charged with assault and public incitement of hatred, Partridge said. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/hatred-charges-black-man-skate-park-brandon-1.5712091?fbclid=IwAR31NZP5HZPW1c_2RVR78mIwS0cmFQurP6sR41Ys07mHZFPvT3V_fwifdjc
