Yeah, so all of that is from a couple weeks ago, actually. Our Health Minister, Tyler Shandro, is an absolute mess. He and Jason Kenney decided -- IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC -- that they wanted to rip up the "master agreement" between the province and health practitioners, which essentially dictates how much they're allowed to charge for their services. An agreement that hasn't been touched in a very long time, because nobody wants to tell doctors they aren't worth what they're charging. Well, apparently in the middle of a pandemic is a good time to do it. When doctors started getting angry about it (something like 80% said they've lost faith in the Health Minister, and around 50% said they've considered closing up shop and moving to another province because of it) Shandro started firing back. He actually went to one doctor's house and got into it with him in his driveway...yelling and screaming and what not. It was really something. So now, in the last couple weeks, they've decided they want to lay off 11,000 front line workers...essentially janitors, laundry workers....things like that. All to save money. Money which, by the way, is being spent in the neighbourhood of 30-million per year on a "War Room", which exists to fight for the good name of oil and gas industry and hand out 4-billion in corporate welfare to oil and gas companies who took the money, laid off their Canadian employees and moved operations to Texas. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack this province for electing the absolute worst provincial government in Canada......

    2020 CFL Playoff Time

So this would be the final weekend of the CFL regular season. Next week would be the Semis, and of course Finals and then Grey Cup in the 3rd week of November. I've decided that I'm going to attempt some sort of Re-Watch Party on those days, exactly when the games would be happening. I have the edited re-broadcasts of each game on my PVR (I didn't tape the games at the time, for fear of jinxing us...) but was fortunate enough to have come into bluray copies of each game, with the complete broadcast on it. So, my November weekends are all set. I wish there was some way we could all participate in this, virtually, and do a MBB Chat throughout each game. I'm really missing the camaraderie each week and having upcoming games to talk about. Just absolutely heart breaking right now. We've got a relatively small "bubble" of friends (less than 10) that we see outside of work, so that'll have to do for now, but man..... I really miss the real thing.

As long as you promise never to lie to us. - Speaking of lies, I remember working with you on CNN in 2015 and 2016 when you said Donald Trump was a racist showman who was not a serious candidate for president. - Keith Boykin - (CNN) Prior to becoming a prominent backer of Donald Trump, Kayleigh McEnany praised then-Vice President Joe Biden as "funny and likable" and a "man of the people" who resonates with "middle class voters.

  29. If I was running the league, the first thing I'd do is reduce the salary cap to something like $1.5 to $ 2million temporarily so that the tv contract pays all salaries. When I say temporarily that means once fans can return to the stands then player & administrative salaries can rise. The players wouldn't have much of a choice to agree or not. they don't sign then they don't play. I'd reduce the roster to 32 players with 2 practice or taxi squad members. I'd have a 2 week training camp limited to 45 players followed by a limited season. No exhibition games. Have inter squad games instead. How many games during the regular season? I couldn't say. Only enough for revenues to cover the cost of the season. I'd have a head coach & 2 assistants. I'd cut out the big 6 figure salaries some of these GMs & Presidents make to a more realistic number. One scout covering US & Canada as well as access to a list of free agent players in the event of injuries. I'd cut, cut, cut to the bare bones. As far as costs go, both divisions would only play each other in the Grey Cup. It would be all inter divisional play during the regular season. In order for this league to survive, forget about just playing. It's survival first which is why these Draconian measures need to be done. So, rather than a bubble in a city where everyone plays which may be the best option, it is prohibitively expensive, Therefore, I think you could have teams play out of their home stadiums as long as they're empty & a team bubble is put in place in each CFL city like we see in the NFL & MLB. They had some infections but so far (in a country being ravaged by Covid 19) they seem to be doing okay. MLB crowned a World Series champion 2 nights ago. The CFL should research what those 2 leagues did & how they worked it. A lot of coaches, GMs, Presidents & players may decide to do something else because of the reduced salaries & leave. But the harsh reality is there isn't a choice. Besides, sometimes when one door closes another one opens. New people mean new ideas. Others will take their place. Anyway, right or wrong that is how I see it.

Holy geez. Polo Park is on the list. The corporation said that it did not collect personal information because the images were briefly looked at and then deleted, however the information generated from the images was being stored by a third-party contractor called Mappedin, which Cadillac Fairview said it was unaware of.

But it’s not odd, because they don’t see it that way. It would require self awareness from them for it to be odd, since there would be no rational explanation for why they followed him. And he lies to them telling them to their face how is there for them. They can’t be reasoned with when you tell them he isn’t the man of the people he says he is, that he is the epitome of born with the silver spoon in his mouth, is the epitome of the elites they hate so much. They are so desperate to find someone to validate their “blame government for my sucky life” mentality, for someone to take control of the life they don’t want to be accountable for on their own, that they eat it up. I am waiting for Trump to flee the country when he knows he has no bullets left and he leaves them high and dry like Simpsons monorail guy or any other grifter does when he steals their money and skips town, and only then will the cloud maybe lift and they will be like the runners in that scene from Forrest Gump when he says he is tired and going home - “Wait, what are we supposed to do now?” as they are literally standing in the desert with no direction. Then the 5 stages of grief kick in: Denial - he’ll be back and show us the way, he’s just planning anger - first anger at liberals for screwing him (and by extension them) over, this could last a long time, then anger at him - I can’t believe he’d abandon us like that bargaining - maybe they Supreme Court can overturn it, maybe we can impeach Biden and he’ll get a third term since they stole one from him depression - AOC and the squad will ruin America now, democracy is dead acceptance - normally at some point they would face the harsh reality that they were duped and admit they were too gullible, but given how their leader always doubles down and never admits he was wrong (even when Trump conceded the Obama birtherism was a hoax, he presented it like he was putting a stop to other people’s lies and being the authority on the truth, and ignored that he was the original liar in the first place) I wonder if we will actually see stage 5.

If Trump would of acknowledged Covid right from the beginning, mandated masks and closures of non essentials businesses in consultation with all 50 Governors whether Republican or Democrats with a solid plan of stimulus for those businesses and people affected, had available for all 50 states everything they needed in terms of PPE, listened to the professionals and let them control the message he might of been dear leader for life, but his is to damn stupid, to egotistical, to uneducated, with no empathy and his enablers are not any better and now he is begging for votes all the while by the time the election rolls around close to 250,000 Americans will be dead.
