For the sake of one of my childs sanity... I hope the schools remain open. The children really are not mentally coping well with being locked down at home. I spoke with a few other parents who decided to homeschool and they are severely regretting the decision with the main reason that the childrens mental health is really poor being isolated by themselves. Thankfully our school division is good and the school and the teachers are really doing a bang up job of keeping the kids in cohorts and teaching in a new manner.2 points

2020 USA ELECTION!!!!

Then why are you wasting time and resources of this court. Here’s your fine, get out.1 point -
no its not. he said nfl doesnt take out the qb on third down. I gave an example where they do. and it works. anyway, kyler murray is small. games i watched he runs outside and relies on speed. on plays that have broken down. he is not in any way a short yardage ball carrier. he got hit once running the ball the other day, and was lucky to get up. good luck stopping streveller for three inches. Just cause its the nfl, doesnt mean it makes sense.1 point

I agree. I also agree that Kyle Murray is a good QB and that’s precisely why you would use a Streveler in certain situations.. to prevent their #1 QB being injured. The NFL has not seen the likes of someone like Streveler and his game would compliment Murray and not interfere with the Cardinals overall game. We’ve all seen what a weapon he can be and I don’t believe his being in the NFL would hamper his running style very much at all. He’s a beast. Use him.1 point

That’s a ridiculous comparison. Drew Brees has 758 rushing yards in a 20 year career. Kyler Murray has almost 1,100 in a season and a half. Streveler has one carry for 3 yards. Why would you take out the better QB whose run game is better or at least equal against NFL talent than his back-up has shown against only CFL talent. The Cards are not here to give the Bomber fan boys a reason to do a circle jerk. They are here to win games with the best option available.1 point -

not on the saints. they put in Taysom Hill on short yardage. anyway, its an example of nfl stupidity. Streveller is a much better short yardage player than kyler murray. they do it cause they all do it. not a goos reason.1 point

I think Trump knows he lost. he was in the wrestling game, hes treating the Presidency like a wrestling event. he will never admit defeat, he got cheated, he will fight on, he will be vindicated, or make a valiant comeback im 2024. he will be escorted from the whitehouse, not in shame, but triumphantly, pausing to make an inspirational speech to his cult. great photo op to run ads from to fleece the suckers. then bilk them for all he can, on his take back the country tour and telethon. I think thats what its going to be. even throwing him in the slam wont stop it. He has no platform, no ideas. this is the greatest scam in history.1 point

IMO he was an ok QB that managed to squeeze out every ounce of his skill and stuck around for a long time. He needed an excellent team around him to reach that next level, as opposed to some QB's that can drag people with them and almost will them to be better. He was just good enough to break your heart. It was his nonchalant attitude that always drove me nuts. Ill never forget a post game interview with Bob where Glenn had a brutal night and threw a game ending pick. Bob asked him something like "so kevin, you had a rough night out there, that last interception, the game was within reach, do you maybe wish you had made a different decision on that one?" and Glenn's response was "well you know, its just football. Its just a game. Ill wake up tomorrow". I remember Bob seemed to be at a loss for words after his response. It always just seemed to me that he lacked that fire and drive that most of the greats have.1 point -

RE: March. We went full lockdown because we didn't know how quickly this would spread or how quickly our health system would be overwhelmed. It seems contradictory on the surface but the circumstances matter. But, we've been slow to react, in my opinion. So, our healthcare system is overwhelmed. I still think that quick test results and quick contract tracing is the only way we're going to get this under control. Since we don't have that, they're shutting things down. That's the only alternative. Our health system has been spread thin and has been since before the pandemic hit. It's a concerted effort to reduce costs in healthcare by reducing capacity. Schools are the next place to go, I guess, if these measures don't work.1 point

I wonder about the asymptomatic kids who pass it on the asymptomatic parents who then spread it to the rest? Our testing is horrible and slow but we are supposed to believe that we have a handle on where the spread is? March numbers were better but now the schools stay open? I guess we wait and see.....1 point

Underappreciated Plays
bearpants reacted to Bigblue204 for a topic
They clarified that during the game. It wasn't called because it was a screen play. The ball was thrown behind the line of scrimmage making the blocking legal. I actually agreed with that call. His elbow (or was it shoulder) clearly hit Evans in the head. Unintentional but clearly a penalty. In terms of underrated plays.... That entire first series in the Grey cup set the tone. Hamiltons Oline look like a siv. Not only did it showcase our Dline and prove that Jefferson was in fact worthy of the DPOY award, but showed how Bryant got robbed from his yearly award. The "best olineman" looked completely outclassed right from the first snap.1 point -
Underappreciated Plays
Rod Black reacted to Bubba Zanetti for a topic
Dont forget the blatant pick play that led to Hamilton's only TD in the Grey Cup. Should have never counted. If you take it away(i choose too lol), after the first half against Calgary in the west semi-final the Bombers D gave up exactly ZERO TD's. Blanked Calgary in the 2nd half, no TD's given up in the west final against sask, and 1 fictitious blown call TD given up in the Grey Cup. And all that done against the three top teams in the league standings wise. Underdog in each game. Unreal. Try to remember a better defensive performance in a three game CFL playoff run. I cant.1 point -
