Our society cannot compete head to head with countires like China who have no societal infrastructure like medicare, pensions, work safety standards, environmental protections, decent wages etc. We do have the right to protect our living standards instead of trying to compete in a race to the bottom. This will require a shift in our buying attitudes and having to pay more for our toys- an unpalatable thought for many.

The Titans have a COVID outbreak, they get a pass until they can field a proper team at the expense of the Steelers bye week. The Niners team gets decimated due in part to COVID protocols, too bad you have to play as planned, put out your practice squad. Baltimore has a COVID outbreak, sure we can put off your match until your QB and other starters are cleared, who cares if we force the Steelers to lose another mini-bye and now make them play twice on 5 days. But hey Denver, you have no quarterbacks, but we can’t postpone your match, sucks to be you. The problem in Philly wasn't getting rid of Foles but not playing Hurts. It made no sense to keep a struggling Wentz in & not seeing what Hurts can do.

As well, the erosion continued with every other federal government FTA we became involved with afterwards. We lost our ability to manufacture products we used to make because (for example) we now buy pharmaceuticals from the US, France, China, Mexico. Doesn't matter if we made them in Canada or not. Until now. We need to reestablish the maufacturing sector in Canada. **** the global supply chains.

Their qb Dane Evans was so far out of his mind from being hit every play that he was useless to them in the 2nd half. Remember how the Tiger Cats acted at the CFL Awards banquet the Thursday before the game? Man, they thought all they had to do was show up & the Bombers would just lie down & they'd just take the championship that they felt belonged to them back to Steel Town. I think they just fired up the Bombers even more being disrespected like that.
