Biden and the Democrats need to realize this and honestly stop trying to placate them with “unite the country” talk. I find it hard to see anything redeemable about the Republican Party, so burn it to the ground while you have the liberal numbers. Kill the electoral college, eliminate gerrymandering, stack the Supreme Court. Republicans manipulated the rules without apology to their benefit and never sweated the fallout because these are their followers and they know people’s attention spans are too short for there to be repercussions. Time to bury this hateful segment of America once and for all. Monday rant over.

Government is not a business. We have already tried cutting taxes and as I said, it's been proven to not work for the betterment of society as a whole. So let's try taxing people and putting in some regulations saying they have to treat their employees well. A strong economy is not created from the top down, it is created from the bottom up.

CBC news had a very good article last night on the marvelously effective job that Cornell U. has done in limiting and treating COVID among students and staff. Their infection numbers are about 10% of of US national numbers and the measures they have taken in testing and intervening would likely cause screams of outrage anywhere else, but the students and staff are accepting all this with (gasp) gratitude.

Fun fact on the Air Raid, Hal Mumme took concepts from Don Matthew's CFL offenses. There is a great book on the development of that offense called, "The Perfect Pass" by S.C. Gwynne.

Who says everything Strev does would be automatic? I realize that the NFL has bigger players and more athletic but man who would have thought Streveler was going to be so adept at running plays and bulldozing to make those plays work.
